Ivory Bridal and Formal

When searching for a gown, I felt extremely overwhelmed just thinking about it. I was sooooo happy to have found this place! Mesita was great to work with and was very responsive. Her staff is also amazing! I cannot forget to mention their wonderful seamstress Caron. My dress was beautifully altered and was ready– even given my short notice! I felt so welcome and confident in their services. I never thought that I would have found my dress at the first bridal salon that I tried!!! Thanks Ivory Bridal!

Ivory Bridal is a winner. They were the first bridal shop I visited after getting engaged (it took me four months after being engaged to finally get started with the hunt for «the dress»), and after an hour there and six dresses, I knew I’d found the one.
For my first time, I went on my own. I didn’t want a bunch of opinions drowning out what I liked and I had a good idea that I wanted something with straps and something with a dramatic back.
When I got there, my bridal consultant Jaleeza was awesome. I was the only girl in the boutique, and it was just Jaleeza, myself and another stylist who was there with her. We chatted, I told her what I wanted and we got to work. I tried several different styles, but there was one I was really digging, and when she jacked me up (as they say on «Say Yes to the Dress») with the veil, I was sold. Oh, and the prices were good compared to other places with bigger names in Atlanta.
I knew though, that I couldn’t say yes, then, I needed my mom to give it the final seal of approval. So when she came down a few weeks later, I brought her back.
I put the dress back on, got veiled again and with a little hesitation (she thought the front was too plain compared to the back) I said yes. With the reservation that once the dress comes in, I’ll work with their in-​house alterations lady to add some more bling to the front.
The whole thing was intimate, relaxes and a lot less stressful than I feared it was going to be, and a big part of that is due to the excellent staff at Ivory Bridal and the intimate nature of that salon. It’s not a big warehouse or ballroom like other places around town, and I was much happier with that experience, it felt a lot more like they cared and a lot less like I was just another sale.
I’ll be sure to let you know how the final product turns out, but I have a feeling it will be perfect for the big day.
