Huetiful Salon is the service side of the internationally known Huetiful brand. After successfully introducing the Huetiful Hair Steamer and the concept of hydrating dry, textured hair to millions around the world, Huetiful Salon was birthed to provide the same high level of healthy hair care in a salon environment. Within three years, Huetiful Salons expanded to two cities and now has over 15 certified Huetiful stylists working within the two salons.

We have broken from the norm in many ways. We are available 7 days a week. Services are booked online to prevent any double booking of our stylists. This ensures that you get one-​on-​one attention with your stylist throughout the service and we can get you in and out faster. We also manufacture 70% of the products that we use in the salon. So, our stylists are very knowledgeable about the services and products and when to use which products on their clients.

Business Owner

Ken Burkeen is Founder & CEO of Huetiful and the Huetiful Salon. He started his beauty care experience as a brand manager in Procter &Gamble’s multi-​billion dollar beauty care division. Realizing that businesses were not developing new products that resolved the needs of women with textured hair, Ken set out to create a hair care brand that created products both innovative and effective, addressing the hair care needs specific to women with textured hair. With operations in both Atlanta and Amsterdam, Huetiful is a global business focused on the hair care needs of women of all hues.

I went to Huetiful for a silk press and a hair steam treatment, but was pleasantly surprised with the knowledge and quality of service I received. I was serviced by Dominique and this girl knows her stuff! She educated me on the importance of keeping your hair properly trimmed, gave great tips on moisturizing, and ingrediants to stay away from in hair products. Then she slayed my hair to the heavens. I was absolutely feeling myself once Dominique was finished with my wash, steam, trim, and silk press. Price is just right and I enjoyed the one on one experience I was able to have with my stylist. I have booked my next appointment for the same service in 2 months. I will definitely recommend this place to any natural hair girl looking for a great one on one salon experience at a great price and more knowledge about your hair.

Before visiting the salon, I doubted the true benefits of the Huetiful hair steamer. But after three appointments over six weeks, I have seen a major difference in my hair. My hair retains moisture, holds curls better, and is easier to stretch. Kristina is my stylist. She takes the time to explain what she is doing to my hair, and makes recommendations on how I can care for my hair between appointments. We have formed a partnership to help get my hair back to 100% health and fullness. I would definitely recommend this salon and Kristina.

Transition to Natural Hair
I’ve been coming to Huetiful for 2 years now. Last year, January 2015 i decided to start my natural hair journey. Now, i stopped relaxing my hair in 2009, but continued to get my hair straightened with the flat iron. At tge time i didn’t realize how damaged my hair really was bc the finished product was beautiful. It wasnt until a friend told me about Huetiful that i became interested in fully transitioning my hair.
My stylist, Lashea educated me about MY hair, protective styling, and products for MY hair. She was very knowledgeable about everything and listened to my concerns. I must say i was a very challenging customer, but she was very patient with me. I did not big chop my hair, I decided to trim my hair every 6 weeks. I also came every 2 weeks faithfully for the steam treatment amd wore protective styles. I took all of her advice and by October 2015 i was 90% transitioned. At this very moment as I type this I am now 100% natural. Lashea, made my transition very smooth and i am happy with the results. My curly hair is healthy and continues to grow.
If you are thinking about transitioning your hair OR if you are stuck with no results. Lashea, at Huetiful is who I HIGHLY recommend. I will continue to see her for my hair care needs.

I had great service from top to bottom! I walked in and Lashea was prompt and courteous. I had a press, steam, and cut. Every product and step was carefully and patiently explained. I was offered a granola bar and water. And best of all I walked out in 2 hours! My hair was bouncing and she used light heat. I will definitely be back! And the other ladies do great work as well!

I came to Huetiful after searching for natural salons, and I’m so glad went! I hadn’t gotten my hair done professionally in 5 years, and that was back when I processed my hair nearly every week.
I’ve been natural for about 4 years. Since ditching relaxers and pressing, I had been doing low maintenance wash n goes. My hair got pretty long (3b-​c texture), dense, and was frizzy, frizzy, frizzy. I decided I wanted something completely new — a shortish cut with layers.
So I came to Huetiful not knowing what to expect and being very pleasantly surprised. For reference, I got a consult, the wash and go as well as the Deva cut.
My stylist was Audree Rodriguez. She walked me through every step of the hair care process, including every product she put on my hair and what it contained. She also cut my hair *perfectly* after I showed her a few pictures. She did seem to discourage pressing and relaxers, but it’s a natural salon so I expected them to be natural-centered.I was just glad to find someone who embraced the idea of cutting my hair and making it poofy.
I love my hair! Huetiful is my home now.

LaShea is the best stylist I’ve come across in ATL. After moving here not long ago, I was looking for a regular stylist who was interested in the health of my hair. After trying several salons, I finally found LaShea at Huetiful. Lashea is helping me through my transition to natural hair and has even given me an amazing cut as I transition. I get so many compliments on my hair, and I also enjoy catching up with her each time I visit!

I’ve been to Huetiful Salon twice, one appointment with Kristina and one with LaShea. Both are incredibly fun, friendly & professional. Both times I got a wash/​deep condition/​steam treatment and natural style. My hair loved the steam treatment and I always love how my styles come out. LaShea also did a great job cutting off some of my straighter ends. I’ve been transitioning for about 1 ½ years and she knew just the right amount to take off. I will definitely be back!

I got a Deva cut by LaShea. She did a great job, listening to what I asked for and taking her time with my curls. Not only did she give me a great cut, but she was also so sweet, educational, and uplifting in her conversation. If I’m ever in Atlanta again I’ll definitely be back.

LaShea is great and very knowledgeable. I’m not very keen on natural hair but she has been educating me on how to care for my hair. I’ve Only been there twice and my hair is starting to improve already. My hair was really really dry and was breaking and I didn’t know what to do anymore that’s why I resorted to getting a hair dresser. Couldn’t be more happier, can’t wait to continue the journey to healthy hair.

The setup is on the second floor of a building, inside of a suite of salon services. Don’t be like me and wander around for 15 minutes wondering where it is because it’s not a standalone.
Kristen took care of my wash, steam and trim, with a quick flat twist. Straightforward haircare. I didn’t need much done. Good for people like me who like to keep their natural hair care upkeep simple. I love that this salon really strives for speed. I am not about that ‘spend the whole day at the salon’ life. I was in and out in about an hour.

My hair was nice when I left the salon but wasn’t nearly as straight as I had expected it would be.
This wasn’t surprising to me because the lady who was in the chair before me left with a 75% straight silk press too.
I have had silk presses done in the past that looked better (not frizzy the same day it was pressed).
If I had never been exposed to the best I would definitely return but I think I will be sticking with my main stylist.

I love my results. My daughter and I got the Nano Smoothing Treatment and we love the results. This is my second time getting the treatment with Kristina. She is vet sweet and personable and can whip your hair into shape. I have been natural for 4 years and the treatment loosened my curls slightly, but nothing drastic. I do noticed a big decrease in fizziness though. I got the first treatment in April 2015 and now, September 2015. Y hair grew tremendously as well.

Im approaching a year of treatment and styles at this salon. When my stylist first announced she was joining the team, i was a bit concerned if I woul be able to keep up with her after the changes in cost were known. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience, quality and the cost affordability. There are always ways to save here. My hair experience with Kyrstina has always been great, however after branching over to Huetiful, the experience is amazing!

I’ve been going to Huetiful for about 4 months. I love the set up… there aren’t a lot of people just waiting to be seen… you are allotted time for your appointment only with your stylist. After my hairdresser moved to another state, I was in a panic. I had the same hair dresser for seven years, and was extremely anxious about finding someone else. Before I found huetiful, I had a very negative salon experience. The beautician was so rough with my hair and my scalp was sore for days.
I googled around a bit more and discovered huetiful. I have very thick, curly natural hair and they worked magic on it. The steamer keeps my hair moisturized and the nano smoothing treatment is a MUST for any woman with natural hair. I usually get my hair pressed and lasts longer than my old stylist’s presses.
These people are truly educated about hair and are absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough about how wonderful they are.

My experience at the huetiful salon with stylist Audree was beyond amazing. I have very thick, coily and long hair. I’m always very nervous about other people working on my hair due to so many bad experiences and stylists’ lack of natural hair knowledge.
Huetiful was so different. By the time my stylist finished washing my hair and detangling my hair, I was confident I was in good hands. She really got through my hair without snagging and ripping my hair out. She also talked me through every step of the process. My end results were amazing. Silky hair that was shiney because it was properly conditioned and moisturized and not because of intense heat. She even trimmed and added layers to the front of my hair exactly how we discussed.
As someone who thought she knew everything about natural hair, I still learned things about my hair and how to better care for it.
I don’t know if I can think of enough great things to say. Whatever stage of your natural hair journey you are in, this is a great salon to try.

Just visited this salon today due to a referral
from a friend on Facebook and honey let me tell you it was an awesome experience! The salon is by appointment only so you don’t have to wait which I love! My stylist was Kristina and she was great, very knowledgeable about the product and very easy to talk to. I got the $ 65 service which came with wash, conditioner, steam treatment, trim, and style. Great Deal! My hair feels so soft and beautiful. I will definetly be back!!!
