Only if it was as good as the primary Holeman & Finch location. It was good but didn’t meet expectations of the«real thing».

$ 13 for an average burger? No Way. Too long a line for an average burger. While it is the best food in a place that is know for poor quality, dont waste your money or time. Either eat before the game or get a fair hot dog for $ 10 less

If you can get past the ballpark prices($ 14 for a double cheeseburger and fries), it’s a great option. The burgers are of good quality, nicely portioned, and sandwiched between yellow American cheese and sautéed red onions. This is the only option. Served with mustard and a blend bbq/ketchup sauce. I have to say, it was surprisingly good. Worth the money. If you’re at Turner Field and want a quality burger, give this place a try. It’s quite good.

They refuse to serve a burger without onions. I hate onions but love the burger. All of their restaurants do it but even when the stand is dead at turner field they are too good to adhere to this request. It is bs. Like im asking you to not add something. In theory im saving you money. Stop being so pretentious.

Wow what an experience this was! We’ve been hearing about the burgers at this place for quite some time. I decided to check it out. We parked we had to use valet. I didn’t see a self parking option. This was fine because the valet was complimentary of course you just needed to tip them. We walked in and they asked if we had reservations which we did not. They were able to find us a seat pretty quickly. Here’s the kicker though, the way the seating is set up your sitting right next to the diners next to you. It’s pretty much like you’re sitting family style at a restaurant but you’re not with your family and your not ordering or eating together. This was a little uncomfortable at first, to the point where we almost were going to leave and find something else. I’m glad that we didnt because when the burger came out it was so delicious and worth any moment of discomfort. The burger was juicy and cheesy and just incredible. The server tried to convince us to try something else on their menu which was awkward because he used the same speech with every person. But I’m glad we stuck with the burger because it was really really good and I would come back even if I have to sit with a bunch of strangers.

I’m all about second chances but after my second awful wait/not so pleasant experience with this place at TURNER field, I needed to write about it. I went to the Braves game tonight and luckily for free on my company! We decided to «grab» a burger at h&f burger sometime around the end of the 4th inning. Line didn’t look awfully long so what the heck if we splurged on $ 14 burgers with a handful(if that) amount of fries, tickets were free. We waited over thirty five(yes 35!!!) minutes for a BALLPARK burger! It wasn’t until the top of the 7th inning that we made it back to our seats… so what went wrong?!? The slow staff! Their timing was way off! It was honestly like they did it on PURPOSE! They had about 4HOT ready burgers without the fries ready… I asked if I could just buy my burger without the fries so it doesn’t get cold. They said no! They had 4 hot and ready burgers sitting for 3 minutes while the slow staff finished frying ALL8 small orders of fries… See the problem?!? Basic MATH and POOR planning! I even asked if I could walk over across the booth to the rack of 6 of 8 fries that were«drying out» as the staff said(EW!) and put them with my hot-and-ready-burger-from-3-minutes-ago and buy it finally! They said no! but at least the staff got my hint and decided it was a long enough wait 5 minutes later… really Braves management?! That’s how you want to treat us? I understand this restaurant is all about being«prestigious» & exclusive by only selling a certain amount of burgers at your place… but that’s not what Braves fans care about!!! BRAVES management should be about making $$ while giving a good/safe experience and this food place is slowing up that process while making guests at YOUR ballpark upset by the awful customer service. ***Was the burger good with flavor? Yes. Was it worth waiting in line to kiss the baseball game & amazing seats«good bye» and NOT buy the 3rd beer which I had fully intend to buy… NOITWASN’T WORTHIT. TAKE-AWAY: Go with the nachos and get the burger at McDs later. Go with the shorter wait, better food, more time for beer and what you came for– BRAVES baseball. Not a line…

If your goal was to eat a delicious cheeseburger, then there is no reason you can leave H&F and feel the need to leave a bad review. This cheeseburger is on the elite spectrum of burgers. I hear people whine about the long line, but just try getting to the park earlier, or go to the location behind the 3rd base line. They make a great cheeseburger and give you some nice little sauces. It is a great way to start your day before watching the Braves lose to the Mets. I hear the original location is different/better, but this location will not disappoint.

Something’s lost when a fancypants burger at a sit down joint makes the leap over to MLB stadium stall. It’s not just the same when you don’t have a hip waiter to tell you about the mix of the beef patty and why it is only cooked to a certain temperature. And instead of getting to eat off a branded plate, you have an unstable teeny cardboard tray and paper wrapping that all the excess Kraft Singles stick to Don’t get me wrong; I always get H&F burgers and fries when I’m at a ball game, and they’re all still very yummy. The line usually is not too long and moves quickly. You may luck out at get there at a sweet time when there is no line at all. But then there’s nowhere to eat your burger nearby, and by the time we’d trek back to our seats in the nosebleeds on the other side of the stadium, everything would be cold and clammy. So we just stand and try to awkwardly eat right there by the huge drum and TV cameras. praying you won’t knock the whole flimsy setup to the ground while gobbling down the ultratasty cheeseburger. If you like overpriced beer and coke, you’re in luck since those are the only two options for wetting your whistle at Holeman & Finch. I’m cheap and stick to the water fountains by the restrooms. Despite my gripes, I’ll still take these burgers over Waffle House though!

This is probably the best fried burger I’ve ever had. That being said, the experience of getting the burger at Turner Field is so down-right annoying and unpleasant that the burger you finally get isn’t worth it. To start, the only soft drink is a tiny Coke that costs $ 3. Then you stand in line while the frying grease smoke fills your lungs. Meanwhile the staff bickers with each other. Finally, your burger gets thrown on a counter, but you’re not sure if it’s yours or not, so you wait until someone comes back two minutes later and holds it up and hands it to you. Seriously, the experience sucks so badly I almost went with a two, but in the end, I have to say the burger was GREAT.

Very good burgers. I ordered Grouper Cheeks and my fiancé got the famous burger. I loved the tempura batter on my grouper cheeks, but there was not a pinch of salt on my entrée. It was so disappointing because the fish was beautiful, the texture and crispiness was great– but it was so bland. My fiancé ordered a Coke Float and he loved it, but it had hot peanuts on the top and he didn’t like those. It was a long wait, we made a reservation en route and arrived early. We actually went to the restaurant next door(Restaurant Eugene) and were blown away by the bar and appetizers. They did a great job trying to convince us to stay for dinner, but we wanted to try H&F because Alton Brown said they were the best burger in the country. Good food, server was great, but no salt on the grouper was unforgivable for me.

Don’t bother. It doesn’t hold a candle to the actual burger from the mothership, Holman & Finch. The wait is long, the staff doesn’t seem to give two shits, and the prices are high. I’m more than willing to pay $ 14 for this burger in a place where the staff cares about what they are doing and the floor isn’t slick with old fry oil and beef fat(seriously, I was on crutches and almost fell). Also, $ 9.50 for a 12 oz can of Red Hare’s National Common? $ 9.75 for a 16 oz can of Sweetwater 420? I understand that it’s a ballpark, but for fuck’s sake, these are $ 5 literally everywhere else in the city, INCLUDING the actual Holman and Finch. Do yourself a favor and drive up to the real H&F, get a burger to go, and sneak it into the game in your girlfriend’s purse. You’ll be happier.

Note to myself: pack a sandwich going to a stadion. Most of the times prices are high, quality is low and the wait is forever. And I was not dissappointed. Unfortunately. Again, overpriced and poor quality. Not thinking of my note we got hungry and because of the long lines(they must do something right you’ll think) and the recommendations to buy burgers here. Salt, salt, beyond imagination! No mayonaise, just mustard and ketchup. Not tomatoes and lettuce, just a hinge of a pickle and fried onion. Oke bun, but overcooked meat. And that at a price of $ 11, without fries. Just a plain burger with cheese. So, not worth the wait and the money. Missed two innings and paid $ 22 for two burgers. And excuse any grammar and spelling mistakes. English is not my first language. And if that isn’t bad enough, my Apple device keeps changing words into ‘proper Dutch’. Yes, you’ve guessed right, my first language.

I was always reading about these Holeman-Finch burgers that they so many are available each night at their restaurant during a certain time. So, when Drew presented free tickets to the Braves last home game this week, I was all for it. The HF at the ballpark serve one or two things… a double cheeseburger with fries and with or without a coke. The price range is $ 12 – 15. It was priced ok considering everything is so expensive at the ballgame. The hamburger was right off the grill. We came early so the line was not that long. They did not put a burger on the grill until you were in line. No pre-cooked ones. The ketchup is homemade and has a tang about it. The burger was decent. I don’t see why it’s so special but it was decent. Overall, I would come back next year. After I had my burger and a beer I realized that there was actually a game going on. And, the Braves won.

Looks like they got their act together! I’ve now been a couple times and have been impressed by the burger on every visit. I think it’s just as close as possible to their restaurant burger. Their only fault is the limited amount of ketchup they give you. Overall a 4 start experience that is worth the wait in line!

Unfortunately on my second visit to Holeman & Finch at Turner Field, I had to bring the 5 star rating down to a 3 star rating. Maybe I was just starving the first time around, or maybe things just ran more efficiently that day. Either way, here are my reasons for updating my original review: 1. SLOW. There is really only ONE choice on the menu: a double patty cheeseburger with fries. The additional options are to add a coke, or to only purchase a coke. Despite there being absolutely no decisions for customers to make, the line moved incredibly slow. I think we missed at least two innings waiting in the line. And what was frustrating, was that the staff seemed to be in no rush at all. By the time we got to the front of the line, the grill was completely empty! I guess he was about to put more burgers on, but it seemed completely inefficient. 2. SALTY. We watched as the cook prepared the next burgers to be placed on the grill, and he put a tremendous amount of salt on each one, which you could definitely taste when eating the burger. 3. OVERCOOKED. My boyfriend and I agreed that the burgers were overcooked. Perhaps that’s why the line moved so slow, the burgers were cooking too long. All in all, it’s still a pretty good burger, it just wasn’t the 5 stars I originally thought. One person I was with really loved it, commenting on the buttery bun and the sweet pickles. Part of the problem may also have been that I talked these burgers up to my friends well before the game, so if you are bringing someone who hasn’t tried them, maybe act like its just another concession stand at the ballpark!

I am sorry, but I do not understand all the hype about the Holman & Finch burgers. I have had their burgers a few times at this Turner Field location. The burger is a double cheeseburger with some onions and pickles. The quality of the meat is good, and the buns are fresh and have a slightly sweet taste. The portion size you get is decent. Those are the good points. What I don’t like is that the burger is exceptionally greasy. I prefer a char broiled and little drier taste. There’s no lettuce and tomatoes, which for me are required with burgers. I haven’t had American cheese since I was a kid, and I don’t want it on my burgers. The burger comes with a small serving of fries, which taste like they’re from fresh rather than frozen potatoes, and are cooked well in the deep fryer. Compared to other food choices at Turner Field, H&F is still pretty decent, and if you’re a season ticket holder your price is only $ 8.

Shhhhhhhh. Don’t tell anyone, but I may buy tickets to Braves games just to be able to get easy access to this delicious burger. The Holeman and Finch burger is quite possibly the best burger in Atlanta. Sure, the product in its original location might be made with a little more finesse, but the access here is significantly easier, allowing you to fulfill your burger cravings anytime the crowds are chopping at the Ted. Though there are smaller stands located closer to home-plate that also sell these burgers, do NOT go to the, because they do not serve fries. They knock a dollar off of the price for this side deficiency, but it’s not worth it. Stick to the location that’s right inside the main gates, next to the Chop House. The location by the main entrance has two sides and two lines. Check both sides before deciding which line to pick, because they can have grossly different wait times despite being less than 10 yards apart. Once you snake your way up to the front, you have three options: 1) Burger and fries for $ 12, 2) Burger, fries, and a coke in a bottle for $ 15, or 3) Just a coke for $ 3.50. I pity the poor person that waits in that long line just to go with option number three. Though the signs say that no modifications to the burger are allowed, I saw them happily make one without pickles(sacrilegious in my opinion) and also wrap one up with no bun for the glutent intolerant crowd, so some modifications may indeed be accommodated. All the glorious things already said about this burger on this page as well as on the Holeman and Finch page still hold true. This is one mighty fine piece of bovine, and at just $ 12, makes for one of the cheaper meals inside the Ted. Great value and great food? I’m sold. And yes, I may steal your fries while you’re too busy tomahawk chopping.

Hello, H&F burger at Turner Field! I’ll gladly wait in your monstrous line for another one. It was a double-whammy for me – First night at a Braves game AND my second instance with H&F. Where I can only say that the burger is amazing, it definitely isn’t the same as being at the location in Buckhead. Just some slight differences that don’t detract from the burger, but just put it on a different tier, in my opinion. A few things to take note of: The sauces are different. They lack a little bit of the punch that you experience at H&F proper. The mustard was a totally different variety and the ketchup was a little less smoky. Still great, just different. Also, the fries are waaaaay different. Still hand-cut, but the texture and flavor(s) seemed a little more mass-produced. Shocking, I know. The burger itself is relatively the same. Pickles are definitely different, though, and I’m pretty sure the buns come from somewhere else. Again, not bad at all. In fact, it was the most badass food I’ve EVER had at a ballpark. Looking forward to getting another upon my next visit to Turner.

I will start out by saying that in writing this review, I borrowed heavily from Daniel B’s review of this place. He did such a great job in his review it that I knew would be hard pressed to add anything new that he did already cover. In fact, you may want to skip my review entirely and read his instead. Plus you might consider that I went with 4 stars whereas he gave 5 stars. I read his review a day or two before going to this vendor at Turner Field, so I readily admit that his review certainly inspired, influenced and wholly informed my initial visit. I have been a couple of times to the main H&F restaurant in Buckhead; however, up until just now had not ever tried their famous and elusive hamburger. I LOVE the deviled eggs that the restaurant serves. Bartenders behind the bar are famous for mixing great innovative cocktails as well as expertly crafted old-school drinks. Unlike at the main restaurant, the vendor stand at the TED imposes no limit to the number of hamburgers available to customers or special /narrow time windows in which one may procure a burger. H&F’s famous(exceptional) burgers are mass produced at several H&F burger stands inside the ballpark. You can see the raw materials on display as you traipse through the wait line: stacks of raw beef patties in trays piled up high, slices of melting cheese and cooking burger patties fusing together on the piping hot griddle, and hot toasted(butter-infused H&F house-made) buns getting their special treatment. Daniel B’s review is very accurate,”… a thing of beauty and the result is a damn good double-patty cheeseburger. It’s(perhaps) the best in the city /state /country…”. Unlike at the restaurant, you can order as many burgers as you want. I too saw people ordering more than one. Since it rained before the Braves game I attended(before, during and after) that made grilling food at my tailgate problematic. I was very, very pleased to get an H&F burger right at the very start of the game. A sign at each H&F burger stand states that no modifications to the burger are allowed. I too can see why they put that sign there; who would dare to alter the H&F magic burger formula? I hear that, compared to the burger at the main restaurant, the Turner Field version is slapped together a bit more haphazardly. I also heard the that the H&F burgers at the TED taste just as great as they do at the main restaurant. Each TED vendor burger(just like at the main restaurant) comes dressed with sliced Bermuda(purple) onions, melted cheese, and sweet house made pickles. The restaurant places a lot of thought and foresight into what condiments are in the burger, how it is constructed and how it should be prepared /presented. House-made versions of ketchup and mustard are served on the side(in small condiment parfait cups) along with a small serving of fries(gratis with your burger). The total price is $ 12.00. Oddly enough, when I checked my credit card statement the next day(online) the bill was attributed to Aramark and not H&F. I did not add a bottle of Coke(adding Coke and your bill will set you back $ 15; however, bottles of Coke by themselves are $ 3.50) The wait from start to finish was about 15 – 20 minutes long. This vendor perhaps deserve 5 stars; however, I(just to be contrary) will go with four. I doubt that will hurt them.

New this season at Turner Field: the Holeman & Finch burger! The last two seasons have been very good to the Ted, food-wise. In 2012, Kevin Rathbun Steak opened a steak sandwich concession behind section 203. This year(2013), Linton Hopkins opened *three* Holeman & Finch locations inside Turner Field: one behind home plate(section 102), one just inside the main entrance(behind section 150), and I believe the third is behind left field. I’m a fan of Kevin Rathbun Steak, but have been disappointed in its Turner Field version( ). I was a little worried H&F would possibly suffer a similar fate, but I’m happy to report this is not the case. The H&F burgers at the Ted are pretty much just as good as the main restaurant on Peachtree Road. Best of all, there’s no limited number of burgers or special time to go. And there’s no waiting for or during Sunday brunch. These bad boys are being mass-produced at each H&F location inside the Ted(photo: ). While standing in line, you can see stacks of raw beef patties in trays piled high, the melty slices of cheese and cooked meat melding together, and the buttered H&F buns lined up, getting their own toasty treatment. It is a thing of beauty and the result is a damn good double-patty cheeseburger. It’s the best in the city(state? country?). Since there’s no limit, order as many as you want. I’ve seen multiple people order more than one burger for themselves at a time. If you ever get hungry while watching the game, it’s nice to have the option to just get up and grab an H&F burger. Compared to the burger at the main restaurant, Turner Field’s version is put together a bit more sloppily. This is to be expected of mass-produced burgers as opposed to 24 individually chef-prepared burgers. However, make no mistake, it tastes just as phenomenal. Just like the main restaurant version, each burger comes with pickles, housemade versions of ketchup and mustard, which are served on the side, and fries. It’s also the same price: $ 12. Add a bottle of Coke and it’s $ 15. Bottles of Coke alone are $ 3.50. That’s the entire menu. A sign at each stand explicitly states no modifications to the burger are allowed. I can see why they put that there since it’s a ballpark, but who dare change the H&F burger formula?! Important notes/tips: — Try to go no later than the 4th or 5th inning, just in case they do run out of burgers. — If you have season tickets, show them to the cashier to get a 33% discount off your order. Yes, you can get the H&F burger and fries here for only $ 8. You can’t get that kind of discount at the main restaurant. — Be on the lookout for special ticket offers from the Braves. Some tickets already include H&F burgers in the price and allow you to bypass the lines and get your burger with no wait and no ringing up. In my experience, waiting in line, even at a busy stand, is no worse than 15 minutes. Major props to the Atlanta Braves and Turner Field for bringing in this local icon. It has significantly improved the game day experience and gives fans even more reason to attend Braves games. Heck, I might just go to games just to eat more burgers.
