Fantastic service and accommodations. Would stay again. Restaurant for breakfast was fantastic!

I am never disappointed with my stay at a HGI. This was no exception for me. I had one issue that arose and both the GM and Operations Director were quick to respond and were able to get it taken care of.
If you have never asked for the staff to do something fun for your stay you need to ask it here. They made it fun and special.
We asked them to draw pictures of us sight unseen and the submissions were fun.

I stay here at least 2 – 3 times per month for business. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping could be better, as my room isn’t always cleaned to a good standard. It is always a good place to stay for the location convenience.

I’m visiting Atlanta for 4 nights for a convention downtown, and a little bit of sight-​seeing.
This is a good hotel — the room is spacious and clean, and there is complimentary in-​room wifi. I always appreciate a big bathtub in a hotel room: tick! The staff have also been friendly and helpful, happy to answer my questions about where to eat out etc.

I stayed here with four other people in September for a metal music festival (PPUSA) for a five day week and this hotel is really nice, really nicely structured and well-​maintained. Decent staff.
Our only actual compliant is that we had to keep coming down to the front desk from our room (on the 12^th floor) because our keys kept stop working, and when we continued to tell them this each day, they’d say «there’s something y’all are doing» (putting it off on us), instead of sending up the maintenance engineer to look at the door lock. This continued all week. we were hardly ever in the room during the day. They could have easily sent someone up, but didn’t.
Am I gonna stay at this hotel next year? No. The staff should take more initiative, that’s all. They weren’t rude or anything, it just felt as if we were bothering them when speaking to them.
But like I said in the beginning, this hotel is really nice, however the staff is only decent.

I really liked this hotel. It was clean and staff were very courteous. Parking is only valet so be prepared to pay $ 28 overnight. The room service was prompt and tasty.
This hotel is right off the highway so it made it super easy to get into midtown then back to suburbia.

Athough I live in metro Atlanta, my husband and I decided to rent a hotel room to enjoy downtown without dealing with traffic. The Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Midtown is a great location. The lobby is clean, modern, and updated. (They even have cucumber water for guests!) The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathrooms have good ventillation, and granite countertops. The flat screen TV in the room swivels for easy viewing anywhere in the room. We had a King size bed with a view of GA Tech and Turner Broadcasting. It was also nice to look out at ⁷⁵⁄₈₅ and know that I do not have to be in that traffic! Wooo Hoo! The only problem with the room is the curtains do close completely (only the sheers close), so the sunshine may wake you up in the morning.
Overnight valet parking is $ 28, but you can come and go as you please with just one daily parking fee. I would definitely stay here again.

Came to ATL to celebrate my birthday weekend. I recently joined the Hilton honors program due to coming a lot. My friend and I stayed here last year and were very content with our stay. Before check in (at 4) we called ahead to see if we could do early check in. They said we could and put a hold on a room for us. When we got there Jessica helped us check in. She was extremely friendly. She upgraded us to a suite bc I was Hilton honors which was so great! The hotel staff was very friendly and our room was very spacious and clean. I highly recommend people stay here. Our view wasn’t great but we don’t care about that.

This is a decent hotel. The location is not quite in midtown, but within a few blocks so the walk is only 10 minutes or so.
I found the hotel to be fairly clean (except for a hair on one of the towels on my first day). Other than that the maid service was good and the room itself was fairly standard. It is nice that they give you a decent set of toiletries (mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, hand soap, sewing kit) in the bathroom, it’s surprising how many hotels don’t these days, the only thing that was really missing was a toothbrush.
The only real negative points were the price and the competency of the staff. I think that $ 200 is just a bit overpriced given the offset location. Regarding the staff, I found them to be extremely courteous, but not quite able to follow through and deliver on their promises. The most important example of this was my request for a cab. I had an early morning flight and requested that a cab be waiting for me at 7. I don’t think this is an unreasonable request, and neither did the person who was working at the desk at night when I requested the cab. However, come 7 in the morning the cab not only isn’t their but still needs to be ordered (same person at the desk btw, so can’t blame it on a shift change). I was told the cab will be here in a couple of minutes, After waiting about 10 minutes I just ordered an über which showed up almost immediately.

First off, I’m a loyal Hilton Honors member & have been both Gold (20 stays) & Diamond (30+ stays annually) over the past several years. I recently stayed at a Courtyard Marriott the previous night near the airport & it was horrible.
On to the current stay:
I was in ATL for several days on business & find Midtown to be ideally located for traversing North & South of the city. This was my 1^st stay at this HGI location & wasn’t sure where the car entrance was located (West side of the hotel off Williams St NW). As another guest mentioned, it’s a thinner-​than-​normal entrance & it’s just not clearly marked. The Valet was prompt & very friendly. I rented a Chevy SS Camaro convertible & they managed to get the top up w/​no problem — thank you for taking care of this detail. 1^st Star!
Upon approaching the front desk, I was promptly greeted by two (2) very nice young ladies w/​welcoming smiles. They were both professional & engaging — just as they should be! They made the appropriate small talk but not too much that you felt you had to linger. This seems to be hit or miss at some properties but not here. They properly directed me to the elevator & I was off to my room — perfect. 2^nd Star!
I have my preferences set up for King Bed, high floor away from the elevator … And I was properly accommodated! Room was clean & fresh upon opening the door. Bathroom clean, towels fresh & the room was properly appointed. The bathroom only had a glass enclosed shower which is perfect for me as I hate hotels that squeeze a tiny bathtub w/​a rounded shower curtain to give you some room. They had 2 soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion (wifey loves their brand), vanity kit & a sewing kit. 3^rd Star!
The King bed was clean & sheets neatly made up. Four (4) pillows & the bed had a way to adjust it for a firmer or softer feel depending on what you prefer. In fact, all HGI’s offer this feature. Bed adjusted to firm & held all night w/​out sagging. I love the Mirra chair by Herman Miller. 4^th Star!
In summary, I’ve come to like the HGI brand. While I didn’t dine at this particular property, HGI offers made-​to-​order B-​Fast along w/​a buffet consisting of mixed fruit, whole fruit (apples, oranges, bananas) along w/​other traditional B-​Fast foods. Dinners are usually good too & most HGI’s have well-​appointed bars w/​beer, wine & liquors.
This HGI performed! Not sure of some of the previous complaints — not at all what I experienced. A few minor issues to fix — called down a few times for my car to be brought around but no answer x3 — called the front desk to make sure valets were present to which I WAC told they were busy. I asked if they could take my Check Claim # to the valet & Robert agreed. 30 mins later when I went down — No Car! There were 3 valets & they immediately retrieved my car — took less than 5 mins. Otherwise, nothing but good things to report for this HGI.

Stayed here twice in the last 2 weeks Hilton honors gold member almost diamond and they stick me on the ⁶⁄₂ floor of this hotel facing the highway! I think all the business that I throw hiltons way could get me a little better room, guess not! Oh yeah and I’m flying my wife down to meet me here, nice showing!

Another stay at the Hilton Garden Inn midtown and it remains solidly good. The location is great with walking access to all of the midtown businesses, local restaurants and there is even a Publix a couple of blocks away. The pool area is finished with restoration and nicely laid out. The fitness center is roomy and offers treadmills and cycling machines, free weights, etc. with nice big towels. The lounge/​restaurant area is open and has multiple seating areas to allow for different groups. Its hard to beat the location.
Tip: If you are noise sensitive do ask for a room on the side facing Spring St and away from I-​75/​80 as the interstate is busy all night.

Nice clean hotel right off the interstate in Atlanta. Across from Georgia Tech. Valet parking only. Very tight narrow entrance into parking check in. Big SUV’s beware. Lobby has fruity water, coffee, fruit and cookies for snacking all day. Easy walk to Publix or to a GT trolley stop where you can ride free to many locations around Atlanta and GT. we stayed on 11^th floor and it was quiet except for an occasional fire truck. Comfy room, good free wifi signal, only missing a lap desk. Fridge and microwave. Keurig coffee and tea machines in room. I would come back for sure.

Was looking for a nice hotel in a nice location for a weekend getaway and came across this bad boy on Unilocal and decided to try it out. Location is very nice and offers great access to the highway if you are in town for events of any kind and need to get there in a reasonable amount of time. The hotel is also good distance from a lot of touristy places to go and explore. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive, the lobby is very spacious and beautiful and often used for events sometimes (like tonight, there is a graduation dinner). Room is very clean and spacious, bathroom clean and offers great amenities and products to enhance your stay.
Fitness center is very nice and all equipment is well kept. Pool is well kept as well and offers fun getaway inside the hotel. Also a good number of restaurants around the area deliver to the hotel and the front desk will call your room and ask if you would like them bring it up to you or if you want to come get it.
Only two things that are complaints are the parking issue and breakfast issue. With parking, there is no self-​parking and the valet is $ 28/​day. It is less then the valet at some other hotels but just having self-​parking not being an option is kind of a downer. The other complaint is there isn’t complimentary breakfast and if you want breakfast it is $ 11.95/adult and $ 5.95/child under the age of 12.
Other than these two things this hotel is fabulous and a wonderful place to stay!

I travel a lot and stay almost exclusively in Marriott or Hilton properties. I have to say that this particular location has dropped the ball. Guest services is difficult to get ahold of if you’re not standing in front of them. I had a concern regarding my HHonors account that was not addressed nor followed up on. The fitness center equipment is broken or not functioning properly. The TV doesn’t work properly. And on and on and on.
I will not be staying here again. Ever.

OK, I’m a bit late writing this review. My bad, my bad…
So last January (don’t judge my lateness with this review) I visited the HGI Atlanta for one night, and I have to say that my stay was pretty nearly flawless. Let’s start with the fact that upon check-​in, the staff couldn’t have been nicer, from the valet driver that let me park my car for 10 minutes for no charge (more on this in a minute) to the friendly and helpful front desk staff, I felt very welcome.
The room (on the 7^th floor) gave a nice view of the surrounding area, and was very clean and comfortable. The AC worked (thanks goodness), the water pressure was constant and the temperature was constant (good for a nice cool shower) and housekeeping was on point.
The only issue I had was — remember that valet that allowed me to park for 10 minutes at no charge? Well they ended up charging me… the full $ 28.00! Needless to say after speaking with the front desk staff, and convincing them that I didn’t park a vehicle there overnight, they removed the charge.
Will I stay here again? Yes!

Great hotel for a great price; this hotel is a great value. The hotel is very clean, the staff are nice, & the business office is well designed; I finished a report & printed it while staying here!
I only have one complaint: the valet was pricey $ 28 a day. It is worth noting this is a fair price in comparison to other hotels in the same market– definitely shocking if you aren’t a city slicker. It is also worth noting that breakfast is $ 11.95 which may be a con to some, as for me, well worth it!

Great staff, very clean rooms. We have stayed a few times now and I look forward to going back. Staff can’t seem to do enough for you.

My daughter & I stayed there for 2 days & nights this last weekend on business and we had a Great experience.
Everyone was very helpful & Pleasant. The room was clean and quiet.
I was able to go to the guest office to use their computer and printer at no charge.
And the Rooms rate were very reasonable.

Not impressed. The property is gorgeous, but the parking is $ 28 a day, valet only. Room service is very lacking, not a big selection, and did not get my order correct. I had an experience with the engineering staff because the batteries in my door handle were low/​dead so I had to turn the handle slowly in order for it to work. This was not resolved during my stay as promised. The TV (cable wire) cut in and out both picture and sound, and the internet was incredibly slow. I did a download test and it came in at 0.66mbps. I had faster internet in India
