HERITAGE ENTERTAINMENT LAWN
This is a cute little park located next to Heritage Sandy Springs, a meeting, events and entertainment venue. It is the spot for the next Rhythm and Brews concert which will be held on July 23^rd at 6:30pm. It has a nice outdoor stage and integrated seating that also allows room for lawn chairs and blankets. At the very back of the lawn area, you will find a shady area that has several benches for sitting and relaxing.
I noticed that this venue is literally swarming with gnats. However, I am going to assume that the lawn is treated prior to the concert in order to address the problem. There is also the matter of sun and heat since the primary viewing area is not shaded at all. Just be prepared and take the appropriate protection, (sunscreen, hat).
This park is perfectly located because you can easily go to the shopping center across the street to purchase food and snacks to put in your cooler or carry to the concert. They not only have a large grocer, but several restaurants and ample parking as well.
Make a plan and prepare to have a good time!

THIS is the reason why I’ve been slacking on my reviews this year. I was planning a wedding, geesh! I am SO glad that I found this place. I fell in love with this place on my first tour.
Looking for a venue with LOTS of space for your wedding or special event? This is the place. Looking for a venue where you can do your own thing? This is the place. Looking for a venue with very few restrictions AND you can have outside catering? THIS IS THE PLACE. Seriously. The price is unbeatable for the amount of space that you can use for this venue. I’m a quantity AND quality type of girl. In my search for a wedding venue, this was my 3^rd and final stop. I honestly didn’t want to do too much searching. This place is great for people who want to get their creative juices flowing. You have a natural landscape as your canvas, use it however you’d like! Even if you’re not that creative, the natural setting is perfect.
I met with Sarah. She’s pretty cool and very laid back. She was very helpful and extremely accommodating when helping me through everything. First time Brides don’t know anything. I had a hiccup and she worked with me and I am forever grateful.
Bring your walking shoes — this place is pretty big. Great location for a picnic or just going for a nice walk. I got a nice history lesson on my tour. It holds a piece of the reason why Sandy Springs got it’s name — the original spring is preserved here.
They even have farmers markets and other outdoor festivals and concerts throughout the year. What a bummer when I found out that I could’ve become a member and I would’ve received a discount for booking an event here. Oh well, it was well worth it nonetheless.
You can get a brick placed on the sidewalk there for a small fee — look for Sean & Karen September 27, 2014 when you visit :)
The Entertainment Lawn — larger than you can handle. I was told that most of the wedding ceremonies happen there. The Heritage Green Lawn — perfect for lawn games and cocktail hour. The Heritage Hall — very modern and the chairs are nice. You can dim the lights for a romantic setting.
Overall, I am very pleased with this venue. Our wedding guests raved about the venue and I don’t think we could’ve picked a better place than Heritage Sandy Springs for our wedding venue. Extremely beautiful setting for a natural outdoor wedding. Even if it rains, there’s plenty of space inside to have a ceremony. I highly recommend Heritage for any special event.

I’ve only been here once but I wanted to get the word out that this place is awesome. Sandy Springs does Concerts by the Springs five times over the summer… May through September on various Sundays.
The concerts start at 7pm and go til about 8:30, but the gates open at 5pm and I hate to tell you this but you need to get there at 4:30pm if you don’t want to be squeezing in between other peoples’ chairs and coolers… And in between bushes. I am serious.
That being said I was at the Yacht Rock Revue concert and I think they hit the highest amount of people, maybe ever? The series is in it’s 18^th year.
It is a really pretty area. Lots of trees, and sort of a grassy amphitheater. Bathrooms are porta-​potties, beware. And if you show up at 5, bring an umbrella or sunscreen or both!
What’s extra cool about this is they provide a food vendor and beer and wine for purchase, while still allowing you to bring in any food and booze of your own! No wonder it gets so packed! There are three shows left in the season, so check out the website and enjoy yourself!

A beautiful venue for a wedding, kind of behind on my Unilocal reviews, and finally got around to writing this.
I didn’t go inside the building, as this was an outside wedding. I did love how much room they had for the event.
The wedding took place on what I believe is the upper level. We took a staircase down to another area after the wedding for the cocktail hour, and when we went back upstairs for the reception it was beautifully transformed.
I hope to be able to visit this venue once more!

What a beautiful venue! Our good friends’ wedding took place here this past Saturday. It’s one of the simplest yet most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to. The ceremony and reception were both outdoors. There’s a garden area in the back with a couple of gazebos and benches where we had our cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception. We had a buffet style dinner and the food was delicious (catered by endive catering). Heritage set up beautiful decorations for the stage and tables. On behalf of the bride and groom, I’d like to say that we’re all very happy with everything this past Saturday.

Had a wedding here Saturday, and it was a cute little place. I, personally, wouldn’t have my wedding here, but it’s a nice set up. You can have the ceremony outside, and the scenery is cute. But I wouldn’t recommend it. We had nats and little bugs flying around EVERYWHERE. Seating made it difficult to see the actual bride and groom, and we could barely hear anything as well.
The reception inside was nice, and restrooms are conveniently nearby, however, it’s a small venue with limited room inside.
