Update: 1) It turns out they do have a record of your care plan. So technically, if you lose your care plan card(that you paid for) they are able to pull it up in the computer. They just don’t tell you this though. Why? They want you to pay for repairs on your own if you can’t find your care plan card. Horrible. 2) They keep no record of what your jewelry should look like. I had my ring sent out to be replated and cleaned. I got it back looking like an entirely different ring. They removed all the gunmetal colored rhodium from behind the stones. I told them I want the rhodium back and they were like, «Where do you want it? what color do you want it?». Luckily, I was able to explain how it should be. But like, shouldn’t they KNOW how to do it? I just want my ring to look like it did when I first got it! 3) Staff: They range from knowledgable to clueless. There is a young girl there. I asked her if they sold Alex and Ani style bangles. I showed her an example on my wrist. She said no. Literally one minute later, I saw a whole case of them. I also asked the girl what kind of rhodium was used in a pendant in the case. She said«It’s a light brown rhodium.» I responded«It looks black though» to which she responded. Yeah, it’s black, «. Huh? I’m done. One star only because of the new guy Brian. He was very polite to me.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I walked in to buy wedding bands but wanted to know my ring size. The saleswoman took that to mean I’m not buying, and openly rolled her eyes. I then asked what the difference was between regular and comfort fit, to which the ever cordial and knowledgeable associate basically spat out, «I don’t know.» Really? So the TL;DR version: horrible staff, nonexistent customer service. If you want to browse a mall jeweler, skip this place at all costs unless you want to be infuriated.

They had very pretty rings at this store. The sales people were ver friendly, and knowledgeable. However, I expressed that I was only interested in engagement rings that had a solid center stone. I did not want a ring that a center made up of several little stones. One of the saleswomen showed me a ring that I really loved. A few days later we went back to view the ring again, and we discovered that the ring was part of their Mosaic collection– which features rings that have little stones that make up a center stone but are done so in a way that you can not easily detect the small stones. I was really disappointed. Other than that, the shopping experience was enjoyable.

So, today we began shopping for the most important jewelry purchase of our lives. We went to several stores, and although my final choice was not at Helzberg, I was very impressed with the associate I dealt with there. I went in not sure due to the mall setting and came out with more info than I’d gotten at the privately-owned shop I was at previously. The salesman explained every bit of the diamond buying process, complete with charts and sample diamonds. I didn’t feel pressured and he seemed really interested in helping me get exactly what I wanted(although at that point I still didn’t really know). The selection was a little bit small, but I think that’s part of being in a mall. I would definitely recommend this place. In the end, I found«the one» at another store, but I would return to Helzberg for another purchase.
