I have used Dr Naranjo on and off for several years, but in the last couple of years, he seems to have lost interest in his work and is nothing like the enthusiastic chiropractor he once was. His appointments never used to run late, and now they do. He keeps patients waiting almost a hour past appointment time, and there is never an apology or an explanation. He never explains things anymore and never gives you an idea of where you are at in his treatment plan. It is like you have to pull each bit of information out of him. He is supposedly studying to get his MD, and he is doing that during work hours, and that is causing disruption to his office routine. He is studying via a video link with some college in Florida. Recently, he kept me coming back, and I never seemed to improve. Finally, I asked him why I wasn’t getting better, and he said he didn’t know. Well, that was unacceptable, and he should have referred me back to my primary care doctor many weeks earlier. I think he wanted to just continue draining my Medicare benefits. His staff seems to lack morale, and one girl is very aggressive and pushy in demanding payments and demanding you make future appointments. I asked her why she was billing me when Medicare was paying more than what Dr Naranjo gets for patients who pay for each visit, and she gave me some lame excuse about how $ 70 is the normal charge per visit. What a sham! Next time I need a chiropractor I will be going somewhere else.
