Hard Rock Café

God awful experience. The service was incredibly slow and the food was not up to par. We had to ask several times for a side of guac I that we were charged $ 3.00 for. We will not be returning.

Okay so, so this place was not good at all. The service was terrible and so was the food. And for the price, you’d expect at least one of the two to be acceptable. Our waitress was very slow while only having 3 tables. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks. When the food arrived, the baby’s food came out last. Actually. By the time the baby got her food two adults were already finished with their burger. The food was not good with small portions. You’d expect them to present the food better, but like everything else, that was terrible. Now granted, not every location is terrible because I did enjoy them when I went to Florida.

Great place ! The restaurant is clean, servers are very friendly. The Original Legendary Burger is amazing!!! Cocktails are delicious ! I’ll definitely recommend this location to my friends.

I’ve been to several Hard Rock Café restaurants in the past and have never been interested in returning because my experiences have been subpar. However, I’m so glad I decided to drop by this location in Atlanta. The service here was exceptional in comparison! Our server, Chris, was awesome! He was very efficient and had a great burger recommendation that I really enjoyed eating. He definitely made mine and my friend’s trip to Atlanta end on a good note! Can’t wait to be back the next time I find myself in town.

Right in the middle of all the wonderful restaurants in downtown Atlanta, this is your typical high energy place. Staff is friendly and attentive, just don’t expect to get your food right away as this is typically a very busy restaurant on a Friday night. We were seated in a more intimate room that had live music on stage beginning at 8:00 PM. Food quality was pretty good. The non-​alcoholic fruit drinks were very tasty. The citrus coleslaw was amazing. The server did a great job celebrating my daughter’s 21^st birthday and it included a small Sundae.

It was my birthday when we went to Hard Rock Café. As we walked in we waited for about 30 minutes to an hour and were finally seated. We sat next to the wall that splits the restaurant and the stage and lower wing of it. When we were seated we ordered our drinks and they came out immediately. Out waitress was spot on, and had a very energetic personality. She kept calling me, «my best friend». It was such a fun time! The music was great, although they should really play more Aerosmith, hahaha, but that’s just me. I ordered a cheeseburger and a Coca Cola. After we placed our order my dad and I looked around the restaurant and gazing at all the memorabilia. My dad and I are old timers, so we like anything vintage. I remember going crazy looking at one of Joe Perry’s guitars. The memorabilia was fantastic! Everything from clothing to instruments to platinum records and tapes.
Our food actually came out at a decent time. My burger was delicious! It wasn’t just a burger, it was the burger. In past years I would get the Legendary Burger, and that is probably the best burger I’ve ever had. After our meal, the waitress came over and gave me a cup of a sundae and asked me to stand up on my chair. Then, the whole staff and the customers started singing Happy Birthday to me and it was awesome! I really enjoyed our waitress and even better was on the check she wrote «Bye best friend!!».
I had an excellent time at Hard Rock Café and hope to come back. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time downtown, and enjoys good music.

I got the ribs (super dry) and upgraded to onion rings (mediocre) which they charged me aprx $ 4 more for even though only cost like a $ 1 more than fries on the menu. The beans weren’t great, the slaw should have been grated finer but was fine in flavor. I drank a water and paid $ 31 plus tip for a mediocre meal. The staff was super friendly.

Not the best experience. The drinks were hot and the food was cold. The waitresses seemed more interested in flirting with the waiters and dancing to the love music than actually serving the table

Was recently here for a working lunch. They were responsive to the group needs and put us in a private room since we had a large group and were concerned about noise while we conducted business. They had two servers working with us, which was really nice. The female server was quite energetic and had her face painted. How interesting. Kids would LOVE that, I think.
I ordered a soda, the Original Legendary burger (cheese, bacon, onion ring), and garlic fries. Soda was super expensive. I think it was around $ 4. What?! Never ordering soda there again. The burger was amazing. The onion ring wasn’t cooked perfectly, but overall this was an excellent burger. Man! I will be back for that! The garlic fries were just OK. They just weren’t garlicky enough. Not worth the upcharge.

Not a bad place. I have been to other Hard Rock cafes and this one seemed a step above in cleanliness and customer service.
We went in during a busy lunch time. We were seated almost instantly.
The server came up to use right away and had our drinks on the table before we knew it.
They have the typical Hard Rock menu which is basically American café type stuff. Wide variety. Chicken, beef and fish dishes.
The alcoholic drinks were good but a bit expensive. You pay for the name.
Our food came quickly and seemed nicely cooked and fresh.
I had ribs, fries and broccoli. All were good. The ribs were especially good for not being a real BBQ place. The fries were hot and fresh and broccoli was cooked perfect. It also came with garlic bread.
Our server checked on several times during our meal and made sure our glasses were full.
Check was a bit on the pricey side but that was expected.
I would come back here again.

Brought a colleague of mine here who was stopped over late Sunday night and had never been to Atlanta. Not wanting to eat around the airport– she likes the collectibles at HRC and we figured we could not go wrong on pub food. Have to say, we were not impressed. High priced, service was slow and not much attention– very loud.
I chose a chicken sandwich which was really not bad– too much bread but had pulled bbq chicken, cheese, jalapeños, and fries were hot. My friend had a club sandwich and it was just — odd. Ice cold turkey– lots of it– but cold, cold seemingly old bacon, toast was cold, and she added cheese as she was hungry. Cheese looked like it was only heated under a warmer and kind of turned down and aged ??? Not sure how to describe. So we waited for the waiter, sent it back to be microwaved for 2 min just to heat it up, melt the cheese, thought no brainer. Came back, it was slightly warm, cheese had no improvement, meat was cold… ICE cold like it was pulled from a frozen stack. Complained twice but didn’t bitch. More interested by then to leave and get back to the hotel. Just reaffirming that HRC is not for the food, but the scenery and drinks. Should have picked a better choice but she did get a T shirt and for that– 2 stars!!!

I had not eaten at a Hard Rock Café in years and while in downtown Atlanta and after a football game the surrounding restaurants were all packed but after waiting 1.5 hours the food and service was amazing and even had a yummy hot fudge Sunday!

We had just gotten off our flight and since the restaurant was near the hotel decided to eat here. Our server was outstanding, ensuring we were updated on when our order would arrive and making sure our drinks were always filled!
The food was subpar. We both ordered burgers medium well; good but not the best burger I have ever had. I was impressed with my service but the food was not as impressive.

I love the super friendly staff the food was oh so delicious and the music as with most Hard Rock Café’s was on point. I thought he mojito could use a bit of work though, I missed the brown sugar but it was strong.
We had no reservations and we were able to get a seat with no problems. I would definitely return.

It’s a Hard Rock Café, what can I say? It wouldn’t have been my first choice of eatery, but if you’re with a toxicologist who travels with the world visiting the HRCs (and this one being super close to the hotel), then who am I to say no?
Although we were a rather big group, we were seated almost instantly, and the waiting staff was super friendly and quite funny too. The food didn’t take too long to get to us, and all the orders were correct. The drinks (I had the strawberry mint something which was tasty. I wish it were fizzy, but it wasn’t) were also good and everybody seemed happy with them.
Lil’ Rock Burger with Monterey Jack cheese, and no tomato, was tasty both times around.
A special shout out has to be given to the Chilli fries and the parmesan fries (which were mentioned on a special October menu) which we subbed for the normal fries. They were delightful — especially the chilli ones. Just the right amount of chilli seasoning, wonderfully crisp and fluffy on the inside, a perfect addition to the meals. The parmesan ones were on the sweet side, but when you alternate between the chilli and the parmesan ones, all is well in the world.
The music was a little on the disappointing side (hence a one star reduction, because I expected the classic hard rock music, and at least one Meatloaf song), and not the kind of tunes that you would be expecting at a HRC. To make up for it though, they do have free wifi, and as a foreign, visiting Unilocaler, that a big Woo! from me.

Shout out to our server Brigette, this girl killed it with service. Her energy and and personality shines through, creating a very welcoming environment.
After long traveling hours and then work for 10 hours for a convention, we were starving and a bit low on energy. Not in the mood to be out.
Brigette walks up to our table greeting us smiling, cheerful and tentative to our needs. This set the mood for the dinner we had been longing for all day!
She was everything we needed to get our 2^nd wind and allowed us too truly enjoy the evening. As she suggested drinks and walked us through the menu. (Again Too tired to read everything) her suggestions were a perfect match for our taste and we followed through.
To the cooks our tummy’s thank you as well!
As we enjoyed our dinner I took notice to the staff, they were busy but you could see the teamwork and bond they had with one another! High fives, appropriate dancing to the music videos, playful with kids. This makes for great business and fun to enjoy as it is a train reaction for staff and guests, all aboard this fun train!
Loved that the staff was also wearing pink for breast cancer awareness month !!!
Overall very happy thank you Brigette for making our nite special, you rock!

I was here with my family at first it was very crowded but then they had a little bit of space for us. The food was great and the kids loved it! The meals came very late, it took them time to get it here.
But at the end we got great delicious food!

It was my niece’s 21^st birthday and this is where she wanted to celebrate with the family and a few friends before she went out for the night. I do not know why she loves the Hard Rock, but she does. I need to help her get out more. Atlanta has so many great places to celebrate with GREAT food. This is not one of them!
The good: They were able to accommodate our group of 22 people and service was ok considering the size of our group.
For kids, they had a full on coloring book which I thought was cool and the kid’s meal came on a guitar plate which the kids loved.
That’s about it.
The bad:
1) If I order a coke, DO NOT BRING ME A PEPSI!!! Tell me you don’t have Coke! If I order fries and you don’t have any would you bring me onion rings? NO! Because it’s not the same! I hate when people do this! I got them to switch it out with Dr. Pepper because Pepsi is just gross as hell and how are you going to serve Pepsi in Atlanta of all places???
2) The food was meh. I had a burger and it was just ok.
3) It is REALLY expensive for some crappy food. A burger was $ 15.95 and was meh. Drinks were very expensive (i.e. a shot of Fireball for the birthday girl was $ 10 for a normal sized shot).
4) It’s loud as hell! I couldn’t hardly hear the people sitting right next to me.
Overall, meh. Don’t go here. Go eat anywhere else but here. The food is functional and nothing to write home about.

After a long hot day of exploring downtown Atlanta, we just came in here to eat because we were starving. It’s conveniently located near the peachtree MARTA station. There is actually not as many selection of food as I expected (like some of the other chain restaurants), but we ended up getting the grilled chicken arugula salad and duo combo BBQ (ribs and pulled pork). The food was actually better than expected. The BBQ was not bad, the pulled pork was just a little on the fattier side and saucy. I wished I had ordered the dressing on the side, the salad would have been great if it wasn’t drenched in dressing!
It’s not a bad place for a causal place to eat some food, get some drinks, and enjoy some music.

Regardless of where our annual family vacations have taken us, a stop in the local Hard Rock Café store and a quick glimpse of the dining room has become a vacation ritual. It wouldn’t be right to judge the food or drink at the Atlanta Hard Rock on this basis, and I won’t.
Obvious to us, however, is that the party vibe was louder, the energy greater and room more rocking than those which had previously been visited. Also obvious from viewing the walls of the store was that the assembled memorabilia here was both more plentiful and of a greater level of interest than elsewhere. Seattle’s HRC, which we had anticipated to reflect the rich musical history of the area, was a complete let-​down. Fortunately, the equally prolific Atlanta rock scene didn’t skimp on the relics.
On that basis alone, «thank you for a job well done.»

The good: excellent service, really cool music and videos playing, stellar décor and rock artifacts. I had onion rings with my burger and they were the bomb! They are huge, have a lovely crunchy coating but not so crunch it makes your mouth hurt. Perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. I will actually be craving those things! Their BBQ sauce that was on the side … Wow I wish I could buy a bottle it was that good. Tangy, smokey and sweet and the perfect viscosity!
The bad: it was over the top noisy. My burger was just ok. I have had way better elsewhere. You could tell by the shape of it they are machine made patties possibly frozen. It just didn’t have any texture and not juicy. The other bad… Price. Just not worth the $$ for a so-​so burger. At that price it should have rocked my world!

I always like going to Hard Rock Cafes. They can be a little noisy, but I always find myself singing and rocking to the music.
I got a honey mustard chicken sandwich and fries. It was good. And I had the Brochette for an appetizer.
Prices are good. Music is good. Our waitress was good.
I hope to be back on my next trip to Atlanta.

Its a high energy, fun, loud place. The service is surprisingly good. The wait staff was attentive and prompt. My server was excellent, they brought out the burgers and even before I could ask for my ketchup. it immediately appeared. Yes, love it when they are thoughtful.
The food is pretty good. I was thinking the restaurant was all hype and the kitchen did not have to try. I am pleasantly surprised that the Hard Rock Café is a proper restaurant and they try to put out good food. Good to know they remember that they are still in the food business.
We had the burgers and everyone enjoyed theirs. I had their limited seasonal Rebel Burger and I think it had some robust, woody, earthy sauce. Not sure what it was but it was good. My wife ordered the Margarita flight and it was a good deal. 3 Diff flavors and made plenty strong.
I would be happy to take out of town friend here. Its good food and a high energy restaurant.

To date, I have been to Atlanta’s Hard Rock Café three times. One visit was as a regular customer in ²⁰⁰⁰⁄₂₀₀₁. Two visits were for events at the Velvet Underground. In 2012, the event was Unilocal Atlanta’s Hall of Fame. In 2014, the event was an Atlanta Hawks Cheerleader Mixer. While my memory is scant on the first visit, I can say that all three of my visits were, for the most part, enjoyable. Since ²⁰⁰⁰⁄₂₀₀₁ was so long ago, this review is based upon my experiences at the Velvet Underground in recent years.
The Velvet Underground is Hard Rock Café Atlanta’s private event space. It’s presumably named after a 60s/​70s rock band of the same name. Velvet Underground is located separately from the main restaurant. It’s adjacent to Hard Rock and has its own storefront and entrance on Peachtree St. You can’t access Velvet Underground from inside the regular restaurant/​café. You have to go outside and back in [the separate entrance] to enter.
I estimate the Velvet Underground can hold roughly 200 – 250 people in a sit/​stand configuration. Both of the events I attended here were well attended — at some times, almost too crowded. It’s not a mammoth event space. The space is rectangular in size and is essentially an open dining area. There’s a long bar on one side of the room and a stage at the far end. The lighting is good and is somewhat reminiscent of a concert hall. The space is outfitted with A/​V equipment and it works well. Music, microphone, and audio come through loud and clear.
For the Unilocal event, various self-​serve buffet-​style food stations were set up on the long wall opposite the bar. For the Hawks event, food could be ordered from the restaurant’s standard menu. The food I’ve had is standard American bar fare such as BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and garlic mashed potatoes. There were some good desserts like crème brûlée and peanut butter mousse. Overall, the cuisine I’ve had at these events is OK, but nothing extraordinary/​memorable.
As an event space, the Velvet Underground delivers. There’s a bar for drinks, a mixture of regular tables and high top tables for eating and mingling, and a stage for presentations, performances, etc. At the Unilocal event, Hall of Fame award recipients accepted their awards on stage, Oscar-​style, and a band played on-​stage afterwards. There was even a big projection screen set up towards the back of the stage with crisp picture quality. At the Hawks event, cheerleaders took the stage to introduce themselves and answer audition questions.
At the Unilocal event, dancing took place on the open floor in between the stage and the dining/​cocktail/​mingling area.
At both the Unilocal and Hawks events, there were doormen who opened the double-​doors for folks upon entry/​exit. There’s also a red carpet which gives the venue a sort of important «Hollywood» celebrity or «rock star» feel. In general, service was good. However, they do need to do a better job on crowd control.
Since this is a downtown venue and Hard Rock does not validate parking, parking will cost money. There are multiple parking garages nearby. If there’s not a big event going on downtown, these decks usually cost $ 5 (flat rate). I like to park inside the deck on Andrew Young International Blvd. in between Peachtree St. and Peachtree Center Ave.
