Whew, Atlanta pricing. I ended up paying $ 30 for a bagel with nova(lox), two scrambled eggs, a pancake and some black and white cookies. The food was ok, nothing spectacular, but so much pricier than anywhere I would normally buy breakfast. Love the deli options, but probably won’t be back to check them out.

My favorite breakfast place in all of Atlanta! Must get the breakfast burger! Be sure to arrive before 10AM to be promptly seated or be prepared to wait for 30 minutes. Regardless, the wait is worth the quality food, service and experience. If breakfast burgers aren’t your thing, try the corn beef hash or nova plate. Can’t go wrong with either!

Goldbergs is the best restaurant of its kind in Atlanta. It really reminds you of a good deli in New York. Everything is excellent. And their potato pancakes are the best(Usaly I only like thin potato pancakes but the thick ones here are amazing) ask for Robbie is an amazing server

Always friendly service and they know how to move a long line! The food is fresh and consistently delicious. Love the LEO omelets or scrambles. Absolutely the best corned beef hash I have ever had! Great bagels too. This place is always on my short list.

Wonderful, if you have ever been to any of the Goldberg’s places then welcome home. Great food, wonderful price, fresh, terrific service and they always will go the extra mile if you ask them. Go here lately pretty often and glad I do!

This is a restaurant run by professionals who really enjoy their work and it shows. Couple that to a truly unique selection of breakfast and lunch delicacies and your only regret is that they close up before dinner. In 16 years I have never been disappointed with anything.

My experience here was okay. I was expecting to walk into a quick semi-service restaurant with a counter at which to order and pay, then sit at table that I would then bus myself(i.e. Einstein Bagels, Panera, etc.). Just FYI, it’s more like a bodega. There’s a seated restaurant to the right, and a counter from which you can order food to go and other various items to the left. I would say the bagels here are the closest I’ve had to NY style bagels: very dense and moist. The only thing is I grew up in the South, so I’m used to my bagels light and airy. My boyfriend ordered a breakfast-sandwich bagel, which he had to take apart because the density of the bagel took away from the sausage and eggs inside it. I ordered the Nova on a Bagel on an Everything Bagel, and it was really good. The nova was better than Einstein’s, where I normally order Lox on a Bagel; however, I don’t think it was worth $ 13.99. $ 14 for smoked salmon on a bagel? I found the price hard to swallow. And my capers were missing. Service was decent: nothing spectacular, but good enough. After tip, we ended up spending over $ 30 for bagel-sandwiches for the two of us. I don’t think we would return by ourselves, but I might recommend it to others who are looking for this type of bagel.

This place is the best! The line can be long. However, they always do an excellent job making it move! We love coming here on Sunday mornings.

Nothing special about the Bagels and the cream cheese here. I visited this place to buy a bulk order of bagels and cream cheese being under the impression they are Gourmet. The bagels have variety of flavors like Rye, Pumpkin etc. you will not be disappointed if you are looking for the variety, but my disappointment came from the cream cheeses. Their website boasts a variety of cream cheese and when i actually visited the place they had only 4 or 5 varieties. I bought regular, Olive, chive cream cheese and around 30 bagels. Here comes the fun part, i asked our server to mark the cream cheese with the names on it and he was reluctant to do it. He kept asking me why and I said«to differentiate the flavors», the response tot hat was rather funny as he said you can know the difference by seeing which is true if they are something like blueberry or strawberry, but these all have the same color and I had to insist. But they had some muffin samples(blueberry, chocolate and brownie) and they are the best I ever had. Over all the pricing was okay but the muffins were the stunners.

Located a little down the street from my hot yoga studio in The Fresh Market shopping center. My bf, friend, and I stopped by and decided to dine in. There are two sides to the restaurant: To go and dine in. Very efficient. We were sat immediately and the service was quick and friendly. We collectively ordered a egg and meat bagel(sesame) with fresh fruit and a country omelette with a cinnamon rasin bagel and fresh fruit. A little disappointed in the selection of cream cheeses purely because I had a particular one I was looking for(a honey almond variation), but the number of options aren’t lacking. Bagel was delicious as was all the rest of the food ordered. I only had one issue, and it’s because our server kept dropping stuff(food/check) and leaving. If we were more aggressive in asking for things for our food(like hot sauce) this wouldn’t be bad, but there’s an offer on the door that lets you write a review and get 10% off your ticket and we didn’t get a chance to mention it to the server before the ticket was dropped off and the server was gone again. Overall, this is a great place. Especially if you’re in a rush because they sure are quick.

I got food to go. I liked the setup for this Goldbergs better than the other one I’ve been to. I got the bagel and lox special, which comes with a small coffee. The lox wasn’t too fishy like some places. The coffee was delicious. I also got a dozen bagels(you get 13) and matzo ball soup. The bagels are some of the best I’ve had. There’s a huge selection of bagel types. The soup was good. A little salty, but had good taste and helped my sore throat.

I’m from NY/Philadelphia and am a total bagel snob. These get two thumbs up– in fact, the whole place does. It has a true NY deli feeling and the service was quick, unphased by custom orders, and really kind. I’d definitely return!

I am such a fan of this place. The service can be hit or miss and the weekend lines may send you running in fear but I assure you, you won’t wait long and it will be worth it. Their food is so fresh and delicious and the prices are great. I always order the Nox and onions on side w/2 eggs over sleazy and whatever bagel I am feeling at that moment because YOUCAN’T GOWRONG.

Wayne and crew are still going strong. Something in the recipe I guess… Great for lunch if you can stand the(often) busy pace. It does tend to move along quickly, though — all tables were full when we went just after noon today, but the turnover was pretty quick. The sandwiches may be on the pricey side but, eh, they’re big and delicious. Any can be heated up(toasted, cheese melted, whatever) and if you’re a turkey lover like me, get the roast turkey with muenster, L & T(I get it on a toasted sesame bagel). While they now offer *cool* things like flatbreads, I think it’s the classics they do right. Delicious(and satisfyingly simple) chicken and tuna salad. Still my fave bagels in town — and now, when you get bagels to go, your freezer bag isn’t just a plain plastic anymore — you’re getting a sturdier deal with their logo. Little things like this make me smile. Oh, and it’s still a great breakfast spot– and they serve it all day, from 6a-5p, 7-days. Yums.

After hearing so many Atlantans swear by Goldberg’s as «the best», I finally made my merry way to the Roswell Road location on Saturday morning and, although our treats hit that bagel-cravin’ spot, I’m afraid I’m just not a convert. Let me break it down into pro’s and con’s for this one… PROS: — Not overcrowded on a weekend morning(surprisingly) — The bagels are obviously fresh — They offer a vast variety of bagel flavors! Way more than Einsteins. — Decent cream cheese(we tried sun dried tomato, cinnamon raisin, and lox flavors) — Good portion size(I couldn’t even finish my bagel) — They remembered their«regulars»(more than one customer came in that the staff referred to by name) CONS: — Staff was too informal– I felt like I was intruding on their time because I didn’t know the menu and wanted to look — The lox. I didn’t taste fresh at all. Ick. — The prices– two bagels and a drink came out to $ 15(Seriously though… bagels are $ 1 for a bag of six at the store) I would definitely go back to try out their other bagel flavors– but it will have to be a «splurge» morning.
