Established in 1956.

Glass, Inc. began providing wholesale windshields and auto glass replacement service to the trucking industry. Soon, Glass, Inc. expanded to serve corporate fleets and individual drivers, with the best price and service on windshield repair and auto glass replacement in Atlanta.

Employee yelled at me for using their car charger, which was listed in a public database as open to the public. He said it was not open to the public. Fair enough – I unplugged immediately – but he continued to yell at me as I got in my car and drive away. I made an honest mistake, was only plugged in for 10 seconds, and don’t appreciate being spoken to like that by anyone ever.

DON’T USE THEM FOR WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT. I called Glass Inc to replace my car windshield. They came to my home and installed the new windshield. When they re-​installed my rear view mirror, the bracket on the new windshield didn’t fit my standard rear view mirror. The tech just jammed it on to make it fit. Not surprisingly, when I went to drive my car the next day, it fell right off. (FYI-It’s hard driving with a dangling mirror) When I called to alert them to the matter, they said I needed to come into their shop for them to fix. This was inconvenient but I had no choice. After 30 minutes they said they fixed it. One day later the mirror fell off again. I went back to their shop for them to fix, again. I was there for almost 2 hours as then tried to tape, crazy glue, etc the mirror back on. Finally, someone who worked there said they should try another bracket to see if it fits. This solved the issue but it took them 2 hours to figure out a solution and instead they just tried to make it fit. They returned my car to me a mess with sticky glue drops everywhere. What a joke. Sensing my frustration (more like anger), the owner Larry, who was there, said he would call me later that day to discuss further. 2 weeks later, still not a word even though I’ve called twice to speak with him. How disrespectful. Don’t use them for your car windshield replacement. I should have just called Safe Lite instead of trying to help a local business. DON’T USE THEM FOR WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT.

Service is friendly but the prices are high. They cut it while I waited.
I had 7 panes of glass cut for a interior French door and they wanted $ 70! That’s $ 10 for each 8 inch by 16 inch pane of the cheapest, thinnest, glass they have. I ended up getting them down to $ 55 but that is still double what I’ve paid before at Ace. However, Home Depot and Ace have stopped cutting it so I guess it’s supply and demand.

I called and was able to get an appointment the next day for a broken bedroom window. The individual who came out to give me an estimate was very professional. After taking measurements, he had the company call me back with a price. Once I agreed upon the price, the same individual came back out with the cut pieces and installed the replacement glass within 10 minutes. As he was finishing up, someone from the company called to get my credit card information. It was a very painless process and I will definitely recommend them to others. Great job!

Very disappointed in Glass Inc.
This appeared as a reputable company right around the block from me so I tried it when a contractor smashed my glass coffee table.
It appears they have been around for years doing a good job but my first experience has not been good.
They said the replacement would be ready in two weeks. It has been seven weeks now now and I still have not received my glass. Oh it’s ready but they had scheduled a delivery today before noon for a $ 25.00 fee and they haven’t called back explaining what has happened or where my glass is. Mind you, I am no more than a quarter of a mile from the shop. When I asked if they were still going to charge me for delivery since they were five weeks late in getting the glass done and late for the delivery they said yes because they still had to deliver it and perhaps she could talk to her manager to get it reduced.
I will pick it up myself and say good riddance to a company I could have done future business with.
Maybe you’ll have a better experience.
By the way, I never knew a price of frosted glass at 25″ x 52″ could ever fetch a price of $ 580.00 which they quoted!

Here is an update. They scheduled a delivery for today at 5:30pm. I left work early to meet them. At 6pm I called and they said they were arranging a delivery and would be there around 45 minutes. They finally arrived and my glass was cut out of square and it was ¼″ to long on one corner!
Here we go again. I am curious as to how long THIS will take again!

Avoid at all cost. Repeatedly promised work to be complete and it was not. Refused to take responsibility for work not being complete. Management is the problem. Service techs are pleasant.

Despite seeing poor reviews I thought I would give this place a shot since it was close to my apartment. I needed a new window after someone broke into my car and smashed the window.
After pretending to check if they had the window in stock and one or two dramatic phone calls (who knows if they were even on the phone), they said they would have to special order the window for $ 150 and the labor would cost a whopping $ 280 (I kid you not) for a grand total of $ 430!
As I immediate started walking out the guy realized I’m not as stupid as he thought and started mumbling about «how much I’m willing to pay» as if I was in some Persian rug market or something, I walked out in disgust.
I don’t know a lot about cars but when someone quotes you that much for labor for a window repair they are obviously trying to rip you off. The labor to install a window is never more than an hour, usually a lot less.
Obviously they were trying to rip me off. They weren’t rude by any means but I can’t give more then one star to dishonest place.
In the end I ended up calling one of those places that they come to you to fix the window and they charged me $ 150 total (which is what you should pay to have a window repair).
Also I saw them yelling at the dogs inside and complaining about them to me, so there might be some truth to what reviewer L.B. said.
Case in point if a place has multiple bad reviews theres probably a reason.

My car window was busted a couple of days ago and everything was stolen. This is the first place that came up on google so I decided to give them a call. Joyce answered and was incredibly sweet. She just asked me for some info and said she would take care of the rest. And that she did. She ordered the glass and they came the same day. The only downer was the estimated time they would arrive but nothing to complain about, really. I would use this company again.

I pass by this place everyday. It just so happens I have a very very large wall mirror that was broken in my move to Atlanta. I finally decided to fix it. I called Glass Inc. Wednesday morning. They picked up Thursday morning and returned it Thursday evening. WOW! The glass they put it in it was better than the original glass and my mirror looks FANTASIC!

I’ve used Glass, Inc twice. Once, for a set of custom tempered glass shelving and most recently to repair a broken window from a burglary. Both times, I received fast, professional, and courteous service and the glass fit like a glove. Best of all, both times, the price was less than I expected when calling them up for a quote. I’ll use them again — but hopefully for more improvement projects and not a break-​in repair.

I pass by this place very often but never needed it until some idiot broke my car window. They replaced it very quickly and it looks new. not sure if it goes down or not though… may adjust my stars after I test it… lol DO NOT CALL SAFELITE!

Sometime in Tgiving 2010 I had my passenger side mirror suffer a mishap… my BFF Chad was kind enough to give me the $ 300 that Ford says you have to spend to buy the entire mirror assembly, as they make these so that when they brake, you cannot just replace the glass…2 days later, puf, I sideswept a mailbox and broke it… needless to say, ashamed and tail between legs, I looked for a cheaper replacement. Glass Inc cut a piece of mirro and installed for $ 50! and I was Happy Happy, Joy Joy… this week, some souless asshole smacked the drivers’ side one off! this one broke off from the base. The Mister at Glass Inc cut out a form on durable pastic, bore holes onto that and attached my new mirror… all for. you guessed! —50 bucks. I heart them!

Was visiting from out of town and had our car broken into up in Buckhead area. We were staying downtown, so wanted a place close for repairs and feel lucky we found Glass, Inc. They ordered glass from phone call, and we dropped it off that afternoon. They provided us a ride to and from our hotel, and had the car window replaced the next day. They also handled all the paperwork and charges with the insurance company with no hassle. It made a crappy day more bearable due to their assistance and help in making it right. The replacement cost was also very reasonable and even totally vacuumed the car inside as well as a car wash.

We used to use Glass Inc. all the time for the cabinet shop I worked at but when I called the other day I got a price of $ 65 for 4 pieces of glass.
I thought about it and when I called back the next day and talked to someone else I got a price of $ 45 for the same thing.
After ordering it I went to pick it up a few hours later and was told the finished it but broke it. so I had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be recut.
The quality if the work is good, but not the front office.
