Arthritis and Rheumatology of GA is a privately operated Rheumatology practice, adjacent to Northside Hospital in the Northside Hospital Doctors Centre.

ARG is staffed by Dr. Gary E Myerson and Dr. Paul G Sutej. Dr. Myerson started his private practice in 1982. Dr. Sutej, who previously was on faculty at Wake Forest University, North Carolina, joined Dr. Myerson in 2005.

We are also staffed by outstanding Physician Assistants, Ms. Anna Adams PA-​C and Ms. Cashelle Rose PA-​C. Ms. Adams graduated with honors from the Medical College of Georgia’s Physician Assistant Program in 2006. Ms. Rose is a graduate of Emory University’s Physician Assistant Program, graduating in 2010. Both ladies are vital assets to our practice.

We have an experienced in-​house infusion suite operating with eight infusion chairs. Bone densitometry (DXA), testing is available in our office as well. Our phone triage nurses begin taking calls at 7:00am and are available to triage questions and discuss changes in your care with our physicians.

Should you have several questions that require changes in your medical plan, the physicians may request that you schedule an appointment to review your questions or new plan of care. Our highly skilled phone triage nurses are available to review follow up questions regarding your care as directed by our physicians. Our triage nurses are not able to discuss reports or results that you may have received from another physician’s offices.

History

Established in 1982.

Dr Myerson is a Founding Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and is an active participant of the Arthritis Foundation. He also serves on the Medical Staff as Team Rheumatologist for the Atlanta Falcons Football Club. Dr Myerson began his residency training at the Jewish Hospital and Medical Center of Brooklyn, in Brooklyn, New York in July of 1977. He was appointed Chief Resident during his third year, and completed the residency program in June of 1980.
