I’m not much of a gamer these days, but on the rare occasion that I feel the need to get my game on, Gamestop is a place I like to go. The prices they ask for on used items is a little ridiculous, but new gaming systems and games are pretty much on par with other retail establishments. I could easily kill some free time in here browsing or playing demos. And yes, the parking lot here can be a nightmare when the walmart zombies are out in full force.

Helpful staff, terrible parking lot, good selection. This is my closest and preferred gamestop. I recommend to anyone looking to game.

Stopped by buy a late Christmas present for a bestie, and meh, this place is alright. Parking is a serious pain in the rear. The parking designated for that part of the plaza can probably only hold about. 20 cars. It is located in the same plaza as a barber shop, Georgia Power payment center, and etc. I parked in the garage area, all the way by the staircase, and it leads up right next to that plaza.
The guy was preoccupied talking, that he was not of much help. Good thing they don’t make it hard to find stuff.

I have been to many GS but I particularly dislike this section. The employees are lazy and careless plus very rude and demanding. For example; I went to a different GS near gwinnett and tried to trade in my xbox360 white with 20gb hd. it had a big crack on the back and i was missing the battery case. They wouldn’t take it so I found a different battery case and took it to this GS. The guy didn’t even check, he just took out the xbox and told me how much I will get back. And today, I went to trade in my psp3000 and the current employee demanded me that I should get something with the credits i will get back for my psp3000. When I said no I just want the credits he changed his mood and started being rude to me and was ignoring my questions about how much in store credits I will get back. Don’t go to this one, go to any other besides this GS

This Gamestop is tucked away in the Walmart plaza on Chamblee Tucker Rd. While I hate going to that Walmart due to the crowds, this Gamestop is surprisingly different. There’s usually only a couple of other customers when we go, and the workers are pretty helpful. On this most recent trip, we were trading in some games and buying a new one for my son’s XBox 360. We got right to the front of the line and the guy behind the counter took care of us. The only knock is that he basically scans them all in, gives us a total, and then hands us a receipt with the credit. Upon further investigation, there were a couple of games that only got $ 0.06, while others got several dollars. I told my son he could have sold those other games to his friends for $ 1 and done better! Oh well, my son was happy that he made some money off of games he doesn’t play anymore…
