While I’ve outgrown Express — just used to seem very high school — I must say that you can find some pretty things. Nice blouses and handbags, although the dresses seem kinda too.revealing. Lol. Staff is nice, and shopping is pleasant here.

They were a little bit overpriced but they seem to have a great selection of mens clothing. I wouldn’t personally buy some of the items that they had as they just seemed very expensive but no reason. The staff was very friendly and they were conveniently located in the mall.

This has been my new favorite store for several months now. And I NEVER pay full price for anything. They always have GREAT deals!!! The last time I was there, I received $ 75 off $ 150. You can’t beat that. The staff is also very helpful. Can’t wait to return this month!

Another example of rediscovering the upside to a store I haven’t patronized in years — along with The Limited, a lot of my teen shopping was also done at Express(you know, for«edgy» stuff!) and such spots, and needing some basics my now preferred boutique-y places don’t carry(or charge a lot more for!) brought me back. This was just Tax Free Weekend and I really made some scores on the latest work clothes trip, and the best was at Express. I needed at least one black button down dress shirt for working shifts at the restaurant as a hostess, and those are surprisingly hard to find this time of year. Especially in a tailored fit, which isn’t exactly the current style. Enter Express — they had two different versions of a fitted yet appropriate black button down and lucky for me, the one I liked better is the one they’re phasing out so on sale and with a special weekend discount my original cost of $ 49.50 was $ 12! Score. Just wish they’d had more than one… Nice and helpful people work here, too, which is always a plus.

I’ve been a fan of Express since my early teens. I like the clothes, I like the cuts, the designs, the fabrics, the insane amount of sales and coupons. I like Express, and I like the Lenox Mall store. It’s big, it has a large selection, it has lots of dressing rooms and sales people, and it’s closest to my house. That store’s gotten my business multiple times, but I’ve never reviewed it, so it’s time I did. This past weekend I had a very pleasant experience there, and I really didn’t expect such a great find as I had. I noticed walking past that another ‘box’ sale was on. Normally I detest the box sale — I hate pawing through boxes that hundreds of other women have already picked over looking for God-knows-what, but I entered anyway to scan the sale racks if not the boxes. Towards the back I spied a rack of maxi dresses(one of my goals this season has been to acquire at least one that’s flattering but not obscenely expensive, because who knows how long the trend will last). The dresses, which were originally $ 130, were marked down to $ 30. Score! After trying one on and determining it looked good, I took it out to the counter. The dress I most wanted wasn’t available at that store in my size, so I asked Austin(the employee who helped me) to check with another store to see if they had it. He did so, and although another store didn’t have it either, this store had another dress pattern that did fit and I liked almost as much. I decided to get that instead. Austin rang it up and I was prepared to pay the $ 38 that showed on the register, but then he cancelled out my payment — he’d noticed the dresses were marked down an extra 30% off the lowest price. So when he rang it up again, the dress came out to be only $ 22! He saved me an extra $ 16 without my even noticing, and I really impressed he was so helpful and friendly to me. Anyway, it really made an impression on me that he went that extra step, and I’m very happy he did. This is just one more reason, Express will definitely continue to receive my patronage. Nice job!

I used to work at 3 different Express stores in Birmingham and Montgomery(Alabama) and was a sales leader at one. So I know exactly what to expect from the associates and the type of service they’re supposed to give… it’s a top 100 store, so it has a lot of items that many others don’t get, which is nice, but… the service I get at this store just sucks. People don’t often acknowledge your presence, and i often have to hunt someone down to help me. I maybe had one good associate experience when my husband was shopping for his suit when we were getting married. With that said, I’m a self-sufficient, smart woman(or I like to think) and I don’t need cater to, so I’m fine shopping without help… but it just can be so much better!

Given the fact that I do not enjoy the idea of going on shopping trips for clothes and I cannot begin to entertain the idea of a shopping spree, it is saying something when I return to a place to purchase clothes, especially if the visits occur within a year or two of each other. This being said, it should be noted that I have visited and purchased clothing at this Express store twice in the past thirteen to fourteen months. My S.O. and I stopped into this location on Tuesday when we stopped in at Lenox after a trip to the Buckhead Cigar Lounge next door in Dantanna’s. Traffic at that time of the day is a pain and we figured that a visit to the mall might be slightly more benign that battling our way back outside the Perimeter. Anyway, I was still in need of some business-casual apparel and have finally accepted that smaller stores are more conducive to finding something that fits me without overwhelming me with hundreds of racks of clothes that rarely fit me correctly or are even the right size. Express met my picky needs perfectly and I was thrilled that their entire professional/business-casual selection was discounted so that you could get 20% off if you spent at least $ 100, 25% off if you exceeded $ 200 and so on. At least half of the sales associated on the floor during out visit either offered to helped me or actually did so at some point and the customer service really seems to have been improved. I really do like the organization at this store and really appreciate it when I can navigate between styles/types of clothing without becoming confused, overwhelmed, frustrated or just kinda down because nothing really works for me. There are a lot of stores that might be «cheaper» to shop at, but I never find anything worth taking home from most of them and the service is generally horrible. I like that I can spend a reasonable amount here for what I’m purchasing, especially during sales, and that I leave feeling good about my experience and about my expenditures.

A year or so ago I finally stopped trying to resist the skinny tie fad. At this point it’s probably not a fad. I mean, if Joel McHale is wearing them on E! then it must actually be fashion. Molly and I came here on the Friday before Christmas because she had to return something. I guess we’ll call my purchase a case of «I didn’t know I needed it» because I ended up finding my Christmas Eve outfit here, even though I had something in my closet that probably would have worked. I really love their men’s dress shirts because they fit me so well. My normal preference for work clothes is Jos. A Bank, but to get the fit I prefer I have to buy their Tailored Fit at almost double the cost of these shirts. Anyway, I love my new red button down shirt and black skinny tie. I especially loved the 30% off tie sale they were having… and I was ecstatic about saving another $ 15 off of my $ 60 purchase with my Foursquare check-in. Holler!
