Great place for fast Chinese take out, their prices can’t be beat. $ 3.67 for vege lo mein? That’s insane. I’m from Chicago and this place is more than decent. Ratings so low? Well I’m Chinese and I dig this place and the cute chick at the counter is a plus ;)

Before I order anything complex from a Chinese restaurant, I always go with fried rice and egg rolls. In my experience, if you can’t get these two simple things right, nothing else on your menu will work. I decided to venture out and try The Generals chicken combo here at Eggroll Corner because honestly, fried chicken nuggets isn’t that hard to get right either. I was very disappointed. While the food looked good, it didn’t come off a piping hot. The egg rolls were pretty. The filling as bright green cabbage but the texture was all wrong. They tasted previously frozen as there was no «snap» or Crunch that you get from fresh made ones. The shrimp fried rice looked seasoned well but it tasted very bland. There was hardly any soy sauce and it didn’t have any seasme oil either. The chicken was not crisp. In fact, I suspect it was microwaved. The inside of the chicken was hotter than the outside and that’s a tell tell sign of microwaved food. How could it be so hot yet the crust was not crunchy at all? I didn’t even eat it all. Basically $ 10 wasted. I wouldn’t return here at all and the only reason why I went was because it was close. Should have gone to the Busy Bee across the street. Avoid this place at all costs.

I am not from Atlanta. I’m actually from Boston and I go to school in the AUC so this is the chinese food tht us non-natives are subjected to. First, my roommate insisted I try them out. I go and the man played me. I asked for a plate w/chicken wings, crab ragoon, and shrimp fried rice. He charged me for everything seperately. by the time I noticed my roomates card was already swiped. Bad business. Second, the crab ragoon was horrible. the cream cheese filling was gritty. like wtf! the chicken wings were super bland. The rice wasnt all that. But i’ve had worse chinese food rice so i’ll give them that. But they wont get my business again

This was the grossest Chinese food I ever had. The fried rice was a dark brown color and the shrimp tasted weird. I’ve never had fried rice like this before and the hot wings were no better. Plus my food had a weird odor to it. I can’t explain it. I feel sorry for the poor college students around the corner that have no choice but to eat this stuff!

1 star is too many. Enter at your own risk!!! I should have drove on by. Tthe exterior décor — paint color and sign — should have been a warning… but… I was looking for a Chinese restaurant to replace the one I love on Ralph Abernathy Dr where the food is fresh and tasty but there are too many scary undesirables lurking around so I decided to give this hell hole a try! H.U.G.E D.I.S.A.P.P.O.I.N.T.M.E.N.T H.U.G.E!!! I’m certain that my take-out order of General Tsao Chicken with ‘seasoned rice’ and fried chicken was days old. At the first bite I tasted and smelled the odor of ‘meat gone bad’ and rancid rice. I threw it all out for fear of food poisoning. Another warning: The cook is hidden from sight with a burlap curtain & I know why = to hide the fact that the food is not freshly cooked; he warms over stale food in the microwave. The food was cold by the time I got home and I live less than 5 minutes away. This restaurant should not be allowed to serve the public — it is a health hazard and it should be shuttered!

Picked up a to-go here and it TOTALLYSUCKED. I know it’s in a bad neighborhood, but it looked like jail in this place and the staff was behind the bars. I’m not sure how the bars would protect them from a gun, but who knows. Food was totally bad. Threw it away after a bite or two. It used to be better when the Publix was still open. It should rename to Scary Eggroll Corner with Bad Food. Don’t go there!

I feel as if I might die. I kind of knew what I was getting into when I decided to eat here, but after spending most of my lunch at the bank I needed something quick. There was no line at this place and now I understand why. Some of my students had warned me to never eat here, but I went anyways. I mean how bad could it be? Well bad, it was really bad. This place doesn’t even look like it would be good, but you know how those hole in the wall places sometimes surprise you, well that was what I was hoping for. Nope, didn’t happen. I ordered chicken fried rice and an egg-roll. Every establishment claiming to have Chinese food should be able to make chicken fried rice and make it well. Not sure what kind of oil they are using to fry things but it’s gross and heavy. Like maybe they fried a whole bunch of other crap with that same oil. The chicken didn’t seem like chicken. I’ll save the stereotypes, but you know what I mean(meow). Plus my food just smelled, no seriously, it had an odder that I couldn’t explain. I for sure won’t be going back. Hopefully, I don’t get too sick from this adventure… I’ll keep you posted.
