Established in 1987.

This business was established with the goal of delivering exceptional customer service. We employ only highly skilled associates. And participate in continuing education. We are Atlanta’s only Certified ASE Blue Seal of Excellance location. Our Technicians are ASE Certified Master Technicians using state-​of-​the-​art diagnostic equipment. We are also a member of the Metro Atlanta Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating since 1989. For the past two years, we have won the «Talk of the Town» award for customer service as based on our internet rating for customer service. We were recently selected as a «top Shop» by Repair Pal, Inc. due to our shop’s credentials and our reputation.

Entered the tire and service business in 1976 in East Tennessee while attending East Tennessee State University. I started as a tire changer. I left the company ten years latter as Store Supervisior overseeing eighteen retail locations. Upon leaving that company, I came to Atlanta to start a Goodyear dealership with Mr. Danny W. Campbell. Danny passed away in 2004. I became sole owner of the Howell Mill Road Goodyear dealership at that time. I have been married to Donna Lee since our wedding in Barbados in 1999.

Have always had relatively good service here but frustrated today at the lack of urgency. Bought a new set of tires from them a month ago and then proceeded to get a nail in side of tire. Had to stop in on a way to meeting and asked them to put on the spare while the new tire is ordered. Keep waiting for something to happen but I look into the shop and 3 guys are leaning against the counter drinking coffee and checking phones.
Normally don’t complain but when you’re in a hurry and let them know and they still my be at a snail’s pace it’s very frustrating! Should have changed the tire myself. Would be at my meeting by now!

Exceptional service! Service Manager Leonard went above and beyond to not only find the tire I wanted but he made sure to beat everyone else’s prices in town! He even went as far to call his sales rep so he could get the best deal for me. I’m definitely coming back!

One tire should not cost $ 200. These people are thieves and liars. They took over an hour to change that one tire. I can do that myself in less than 30 minutes. This is a terrible place

I’ve been a loyal customer here for 20+ years! Everyone in my family has used their services! Today I am using them for an oil change. I have In the past bought tires from them and choose to fill them with nitrogen gas instead of air, leaks less. When I need tires again, this is where I will come.
Their prices are competitive, unless you have a mechanic in the family who will cut you a deal ’cause your family. Otherwise, Goodyear is where you wanna be.
Since they are so good, they are popular. Highly recommend making an appointment beforehand. You can wait while they service your vehicle in their waiting area that offers, complimentary coffee, free WiFi and CNN news on their TV. I like to walk down to Publix and do some light shopping while my car is being serviced! Plus, there are a plethora of fast food places scattered around to prevent you from starving!
When you need auto care and only want the best, go everywhere else 1st then come here! You will spot the difference! Good service and great customer service!

Come here. I’ve been given the run-​around by plenty of places – and even other Goodyears. But the owner of this Goodyear has been here for 26 years, and most of the guys have been around at least a decade. They won’t tell you stuff is wrong if it’s not. In fact, another Goodyear in Tucker told me I needed a belt replaced, and THIS Goodyear called and told me that wasn’t true. They easily could’ve suckered $ 200 out of me, but they didn’t.

I’ve been to this location three times to get my oil changed, because it was close to where I lived. On my third visit they left the oil cap off, so I had to go back the next day after noticing it. They replaced the cap with a new one and refilled the oil, but they never apologized or tried to offer a discount on my next service. Immediately after driving out of their I heard a rattling sound, so I went and had it checked somewhere else. Come to find out they busted my exhaust pipe and now I have to get it replaced for $ 440. Seriously don’t go here for anything… there are plenty of better shops around. They may be a little further, but it’s worth the distance!

Got an oil change and complimentary preventative maintenance inspection for $ 25 with a coupon in the mail. They take appointment request within a week in advance and are very friendly. The oil change took about 50 minutes and they have a small lounge to wait in. It has free wi-​fi and a tv that plays infomercials on loop. The staff was friendly and knowledge and in a convenient location for me. My only complaint is that the lounge smelled like tires since they’re on display in there.

Terrible experience. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation with a coupon for free rotation. I was informed this only was for the «premium» oil change and not the «standard». So after agreeing to pay the extra $ 20 for the «premium oil» (just so I could get my tires rotated) and waiting for my car they inform me that they cannot rotate my tires bc they need to be replaced. My tires were fine and I told them im not replacing them and they said its policy not to rotate tires that are worn. Anyways there are so many other places to go, I would only recommend this place to my worst enemy. This is the perfect place to send someone you don’t like.

I have received favorable service from another Goodyear Gemini location in the past and thought the experience would translate to this location — I was wrong.
Initially I identified this place as a shop that could take care of the easy to moderate maintenance on my car and I allowed them to service my car multiple times. I tried to make excuses for the poor jobs they did which resulted in me taking my vehicle back to them to do the work a second time on multiple occasions.
On one occasion, weeks after taking my car in to have the brake fluid flushed, I popped the hood to find the top for the brake fluid reservoir off and sitting to the side. If you know anything about hygroscopic fluids, you will know this made the brake fluid flush practically pointless. I had to have them re-​flush the fluid as a result.
On another occasion, I let the shop replace the clutch in my car. When I picked up my car, the technician stated the clutch was smooth and operated without any chatter. This could not have been further from the truth. The chatter was obvious. I was forced to take my car back to them to redo this maintenance as well.
Finally, I experienced something that made my decision to boycott this business extremely easy. My engine started behaving erratically at some point and the check engine light came on. I diagnosed the problem and found there was a severed pressure hose that helps control the turbo on my vehicle. Upon inspection of the hose, it was apparent that the hose had broken when the car was being worked on (which is not abnormal) but instead of the technician replacing the hose or informing me about the problem, the hose was TAPED back together. This is an extremely temporary solution at best. Given the time frame of the problem, the Goodyear business is the only one that could have done this.
Many of my friends come to me for advise in selecting an auto service and I tell them to avoid this place at all costs.

We’ve used this Goodyear location for a number of our auto service needs in the past, including new batteries and new tires. The people and the customer service that they provide have always been excellent — they thoroughly explain what needs to be done, what will be done, what has been done, etc. They give very accurate estimates of when work will be completed, even advising you to come back later if needed.
The waiting room is always clean and tidy, with comfortable seats, an excellent selection of current magazines, a TV usually on the news, and free wifi, so that you can work while you wait.
They’re a pleasure to do business, but they do seem to be on the high side, as others have mentioned. For example, when the pizza delivery guy popped our tire during the recent ice storm, it was under warranty, so I drove the extra distance to get it replaced. They credited us $ 45 for the tire (a percentage based on the amount of tread left, which is fine), but then informed me that the tire had gone up in price to $ 99 (and I agreed that I wanted the 4 tires to be the same make), but the total came to $ 86, not $ 54, but the time they added in labor and fees…
I recommend them if you live in the neighborhood and you want to be assured of a job well done, but not if you’re pinching pennies.

I went by here to get an oil change. When I arrived they told me that they are booked for the next few hours and I should make an appointment to come back later. Given that I had a coupon, I did as what they asked and showed up later. I was in and out fairly quickly and they did not pull any b.s. saying that something is broken where it really is not. All in all, I wouldn’t mind coming back for an oil change.

Like the others said, I guess they know what they’re doing, but they charge a ridiculous amount to do it. First off they charged me $ 100 to run the diagnostic test, which consists of hooking up a computer to your car and pushing a button. Someone at the emissions testing place did the same thing for free and came up with the same result, yet they still charged me $ 100. Then they needed to replace the oil filter and clean a sensor. Okay, okay, I could handle the other $ 100 for that.
But then they re-​ran the diagnostic and found out they would need to replace the sensor altogether. That’s all fine except they wanted to charge me $ 399 to do it. Luckily I told them not to do it and got a friend at work to replace it for me. The part cost $ 122 at AutoZone, meaning they wanted to charge me $ 277 in labor to open the hood, unscrew two screws, put the 3“x1″ part in, rescrew the screws, and close the hood. I’m sorry, but you have got to be kidding me.
I won’t be going there again unless for some reason I’m in the mood to waste hundreds of dollars.

They tend to be expensive, yet I find myself sitting here once again. At times I wish the perfect mechanic would come along who didn’t gouge you with prices and rediculous extra expenditures. Typical guys work here, mainly concerned with helping the women first and who maintain a very old school mentality when it comes to gay people. You get the feeling your not being treated with the same respect. Discrimination a its finest I’d say. They do a good job, yes, but it’s your call if you think it’s worth it or not.

Let me break down this Chain of Service stations. They do a really good job of repairing your car and diagnosing problems. But they are only getting 2 stars because they always price gouge.
They wanted to replace the battery in my car and charge me $ 125.
with only about $ 20 going to labor. I know Batteries cost about $ 50-​$ 60 at an Auto store, after the auto store mark up.
This means Goodyear is adding about an 80−100% mark up on pricing parts during billing.
It’s an outrage. I’m going to shop and will never recommend Goodyear to anyone.
