Did a great job with my cursed car. Insurance company recommended, but they worked for me. And the coffee was delicious!

After hit & run driver sideswiped my car on Interstate, these folks were very helpful in re-​attaching side view mirror. Saved me about $ 250 from buying new part.

I was recommended to this place by a friend of a friend so I figured I would give it a shot. Talking to Gustavo on the phone was helpful. He told me what was wrong and also gave me an estimate (which I received 2 days later) I couldn’t even believe it. Not only was he dodging my calls to charge me a storage fee but he also doubled the price on almost everything that needed to be fixed on my car.
I have a friend who works on cars so I know about pricing for auto parts. When I saw my estimate, I was in shock. He was trying to charge me $ 600 to replace my windshield when everyone knows that you can easily get a windshield replacement including labor for $ 200. When I got to the shop to retrieve my car & take my business elsewhere, I got my keys thrown at me. Yep. Gustavo tossed my keys to me like it was a salad.
I felt like because I am a woman he was trying to take advantage of me. Turns out I got everything fixed by another mechanic for half of what he was trying to charge. I’m thankful for horrible service like this so I know when to appreciate the good people out in the world. Kind of like a man lol

My old civic was in need of some sprucing up inside and out. Gustavo took the time to explain their car painting procedure, rest assured this is no quick Maaco crap operation. Being a ’98, it didn’t make sense for me to invest in a full paint job. Gustavo could tell I was disappointed, so he recommended some other options in my budget: restore the headlights and repaint my peeling spoiler. In addition, he replaced my broken hood latch and review mirror at a reasonable price. The repairs were done in a timely manner and all communication with Gustavo was friendly and quick. I CAN NOT stress enough how big of a difference head light restoration makes. If that’s the only thing you do to your car, do it! They honestly look brand new and make the whole car look better. Now I look at everyone’s headlights and judge them! Also, I went in a second time so they could finish another little repair and while the tech was working, he thought he messed up my AC, so he tried to repair it. After having no luck, Gustavo asked if I had been having and AC trouble. I told him I had an intermittent cooling issue but I hadn’t thought to mention it to him. I was very impressed that the were trying to take responsibility and not send me out the door with an AC issue. He even filled up the freon for me! One last thing, he also have me the code information for my airbag, the light had been on and I hadn’t had a chance to bring it anywhere yet. They don’t handle those types of issues but at least I had a heads up before I went to the dealer. A+ experience!

Perfectly nice guys in person and the talk is big, but good luck getting them (Dani or Gustavo) to call or email you back or do anything to facilitate actually DOING any work on your vehicle. Clearly they don’t want my money, so I’ll go elsewhere.

This body shop has HORRIBLE customer service. I was involved in a carjacking that happened a little over a month ago, my car was found but I needed to have some minor repairs made to it. My insurance company dropped my car off on a Friday, I arrived to the body shop the following Tuesday (because they are closed on weekend) to see if they had begun working on my car (to my surprise they had not).
However I did not make a big deal out of it, instead I asked the mechanic when would he be done making repairs to my car he said it would take 5 – 7 days. So I waited on his phone call until the 7^th day and still heard nothing! Again I just figured he was behind so I waited a little while longer, by day 10 of waiting I finally decided to call and ask what was going on and when would it be ready. I was told my car wouldn’t be ready until 5:00, because it was «wet» and they could not proceed to the next step until it dried.
So I said okay, and I prepared to be at the body shop by 5:00. Due to letting some time pass I arrived at 5:30. When I walked in and sat down, I was asked did I have the money to pay for my car, (as if I was not capable of paying for the services that had been done) I replied yes I do, as I prepared to pay I pulled out my checkbook to write a check, and the mechanic told me that he did not accept personal checks. Only debit, or cash. (I was not advised of this on previous visits, so it baffled me that the mechanic had decided to say something about it once I was ready to pay) Because of the large amount of money I owed I could not withdraw the amount from a ATM or swipe on my debit because there’s a limit I can’t exceed without notifying my bank before hand.
Before leaving despite that they aren’t open on Saturdays. The mechanic said he would be at the shop working on his own vehicle and that I could come back between 10am-​2pm to pay the money. So I got up early retrieved over $ 4,000 in cash for his services, caught a ride over to his place and arrived a little past 10:00 only to see that he was not there. I decided to sit for awhile and by awhile I mean about 2 hours and yet he was still a no show! Talk about beyond pissed!
My purpose of doing this review is to just be open and honest about this body shop, in my opinion unless you’re white, you probably won’t get the customer service you deserve! I picked this place because I loved the work saw on their website, but it’s certainly not worth the hassle they put you through. There are many other places in Atlanta that will provide good service for your car and good customer service to you!
I am highly disappointed with the customer service provided to me. So this will be my first and last time EVER doing business with this unprofessional body shop!

Both Dani and Gustavo were incredibly helpful in replacing my front bumper after an accident. They were in constant touch with me during the process and handled the insurance for me. All I had to do was pay my deductible and pick up my car. They did a great job, it looks brand new. Thanks.

My experience was great they have great customer service. The manager was very helpful on telling me what the problem was and how fast they could fix it. My headlight glass was broken I called other body shops and were charging me 300 $$. On D&I body shop my total came to be 94.60 it saved me 200 $$. They fixed it that same day I look forward on going there from now on for any problems that I may have in the future. I recommend checking it out it’s worth it.

My experience at D&I was extremely pleasant. Not only was Rusty (the sales manager) an agreeable and friendly guy, but he gave me a discount on the work on my car because I was a student!
He stuck to his word and the estimate he gave me and even when they found additional damage after taking off my bumper, they didn’t charge me for it.
In addition, he guaranteed me the day that it would be done and it was done on that day by closing. They even offered me a ride to and from the place when I picked up and dropped off my car. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. Highly recommended.

My experience at D&I was delightfully atypical from that which I’ve come to expect with automotive shops. Rusty (manager) & the crew were truly EXCELLENT in all regards. Knowledgable, honest, respectful, trustworthy, and skilled.
Rusty wasn’t afraid to lose some business explaining to me all the available options and giving me his truthful opinion. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, during my wait I was provided a tasty cup of homemade Turkish coffee (stove-​top boiled!) and invited back into the shop to learn a thing or two about repairing cars and watch some of the beautiful paint work!
5 stars, A+, 10 out of 10, would recommend a friend!

My entire experience here was wonderful! They saved me money, and my car looks great!
I dealt mostly with Rusty, the manager, and he was very helpful. Rusty gave me a very accurate estimate for the body work I needed done, nearly the same as the insurance company’s estimate.
Body work? For what you ask? Well, a sex-​crazed deer hit my car. Yes, he hit my car, inside Atlanta, on Shallowford Rd. He forgot about that invisible wall called «The Perimeter» that he’s not supposed to cross. Mating season caused all kinds of problems for this poor guy, including running into the front left side of my car.
I needed a new front left fender, a new hood, a new left headlight, and my driver door repaired. All repainted and blended, or course. Not only did D And I Body Shop complete the work beautifully, within budget, but they completed it in THREE DAYS. Initially they thought it would take 5 – 6 days, but they got it done in 3 days and saved me mucho dinero on my rental car! They even washed my car!
Dani, the owner, was incredibly nice and waited an hour past closing so that I could get there after work to pick up my car. Two friends came with me, to give me a ride. My friend who drove had a headlight that had just gone out, and he replaced it right there on the spot! He didn’t want any compensation for the bulb, but we insisted. He even gave me and my friends a tour of the shop. Very cool. He showed us one of the cars they worked on for one of the Fast and Furious movies, as well as a custom kit car he’s fixing and an old VW he’s rebuilding. They also do work for one of the Falcon’s players.
Anything you need done, from basic body work or paint, to rebuilding a classic, these guys can do it! Again, I am so happy with the job they did on my car. The paint job is beautiful, and it looks like new!
P. S. There are many more 5 star reviews on here, but for some reason
is hiding them. Those hidden reviews, plus the ones on Google, were the reason I decided to go with this shop. You’ll only find great things written about these guys!

Fantastic customer service. They helped me out when the insurance company of the person who was 100% liable for the accident (company is 2 words & starts with an L) screwed me over. Dani and Rusty are awesome and I can’t imagine why anyone would take their car anywhere else in Atlanta other than D&I Body Shop. Great communicaton with the customer and they made my car look even better than before the accident. They def made a return again customer out of me. Will be taking my car back the next time I need an oil change.

This place is definitely worth checking out. The prices here can’t be beat. I can’t comment on the quality of service just yet because my car is currently being repaired, but if needed I will update my review. The staff was very professional and welcoming. Parts are available at the drop of a hat and that’s rare in this day and age. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been in the unfortunate position to be hit twice within two months, when I had never had damage to my car after moving to Atlanta. I decided to try this repair shop due to location alone, but I can now say that I have my first «go-​to guys» for my car.

Not only was Rusty and staff pleasant, but they went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met with the repair, the rental car company, and the insurance agencies. At first I just wrote it off, since they were getting paid for a service, but I realized over time that this was truly a shop where I felt I trusted the skill level and the people, themselves.
Constant communication and updates through my preferred channel (email), excellent explanation of the work to a non-​savvy car person, and great final results, are just a few of the reasons that I will keep coming to this shop, and also refer my friends.

The repair was excellent and the car looks as good as new after it has been through the boy shop. I had got a bad dent on the door when someone hit my car. I had little idea about cars and the insurance process. Dani at D&I not only fixed my car very well, but also helped me get through all the insurance process. He also helped me with a ride from home. His door blend in job is particularly good. I am glad that he was recommended by a colleague from school.
I would gladly recommend this shop to anybody. They are really helpful people.

About a month ago I had an accident with my 2006 Ford Escape. The damage didn’t seem bad at first but it had frame damage. I found D & I Body Shop and I don’t regret it. Dani and Rusty took care of me. They were honest and professional and made me feel at ease about repairing my car. They returned my car as good as new and were fast. I recommend D & I Body shop to anyone. You won’t regret it.

I have been using D&I Body Shop for many years. In my business my employees sometime damage expensive vehicles belonging to other people. Dani and his staff assure the customer that their car will be fixed 100% the first time with a life time warranty. He never has a problem matching the paint color or making sure ever panel line up perfectly.
I would certainly recommend D&I Body Shop. You will not be disappointed!

This is a pretty late review, I received service from them months ago, but it was so great I felt I needed to write a review now that I’m on Unilocal.
I’ll start by mentioning that I first went to get quotes from my hometown of Peachtree City, thinking prices would be cheaper outside the perimeter. I checked out D & I just out of curiosity, and it turned out my quote was about $ 200 cheaper than anything in Peachtree City and it was going to take 2 – 3 days less time. Since I live in Midtown that was a no-​brainer. Plus they were very flexible about when I dropped it off.
Very friendly service, and my car looked good as new when they were done with it!

Great shop. Did a good job on my car and had it back to me the next day.
