Established in 2009.

Corrective Chiropractic was created through Dr. Cohen’s vision of creating a health and wellness facility the community of Atlanta can call «home». Dr. Cohen has always been an avid «health coach» and finally his dream has come true. People from all over Georgia even Alabama and Tennessee are coming to Cohen Chiropractic to learn about natural ways of improving health and well-​being. If you have not sat in on the Half-​Hour to health workshops performed each Tuesday night at 6:30 PM then we strongly recommend attending. Dr. Cohen shares new secrets about health and provides free refreshments for all guests.

Dr. Austin Cohen was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a major in Biology. He was named «Who’s Who of America Colleges and Universities» and also was president of the Greek Honor Council. Determined to get into the healthcare industry he did not know which profession to associate with and ended up taking one year off after college to do research. That year he walked into numerous medical doctors, dentists, and other doctor offices but none caught his attention like his chiropractor. He was so impressed and intrigued with the philosophy and science behind chiropractic that he enrolled in Life Chiropractic College. While in school he founded and ran the largest leadership organization that was focused on teaching other students about personal development and leadership. At graduation he was awarded the first ever «Clinic Excellence Award», because of his superior service and care to his patients.

I’ve been to CC a few times now and receive amazing service from the entire staff. They are personable and Polite. Austin’s knowledge /​expertise goes hand in hand with the great care you receive. I can’t begin to say enough about all the services offered at Corrective Chiropractic. I started seeing Dr. Cohen almost a year ago for log time lower back pain. As a busy working mom of 2 boys, active CrossFitter, I needed help. Through Dr. Cohen’s care I have see such physical improvements!
I also started meeting with Jessica, their Nutrition Advisor. Working with Jessica has made such an improvement on my overall health. I have always been a yo yo when it comes to my food intake — good, bad, good, bad. I love food! I had constant bloating, my sleep was poor which resulted in low energy, and focusing at work was terrible. Being an mom of 2 active boys, active in CrossFit, I need to feel 100%. In meeting with Jessica, she has been able to figure out the right supplements to compliment symptoms thus making me feel amazing. The Standard Process products are top notch. With Jessica’s help I have seen so much improvement in my overall health. She has amazing recipe tips as well to help change up my boring eating habits too!
AND you can’t forget about their massage services too! Shalonda is amazing!

I love going to Corrective Chiropractic. Drs. Austin and Savy both really care about their patients and are really good at what they do. The office staff are super nice and learn who all the patients are (as opposed to other places where they forget you even after years of coming in). The office is beautiful and in a great location in town. I love everything about this practice and highly recommend it!

Dr. Cohen is one of the best chiropractors in Atlanta! He truly cares about his patients and is willing to address all areas of their heath including their nutrition. He also does free informative webinars, which are always on interesting topics. One of his staff members, Jessica, is a nutrition expert and often holds recipe nights and grocery store tours. I would recommend Dr. Cohen to my closest friends. Ever since seeing him over a year ago, I have had zero back pain.

This chiropractor has been our saving grace. My children endured rounds and rounds of antibiotics for recurrent ear infections, and not once did the pediatrician suggest it could be caused by a slight misalignment which could cause fluid to become trapped in the inner ear. The ear infections stopped once we started taking them for adjustments, and it has made a world of difference in their overall health too, especially their sleep habits. Dr. Savy is terrific with children, and she is very attuned to the differences between children’s chiropractic needs and adults’. I am so thankful I overcame my skepticism and concern about taking children to a chiropractor and am very grateful we found Dr. Savy!

Believe the hype! Let me first start by saying this is by far one of the cleanest, most professional, healthcare facilities that I’ve ever visited. I seriously have searched and searched for specks of dirt or dust and have found NONE. Secondly, Dr. Cohen hs one the sweetest and kindest spirits of anyone I’ve EVER met not just in healthcare. He is genuinely just a very nice guy.
What sets this chiropractor apart is that they truly do strive to help your ENTIRE body not just your back. So a part of coming on board is that you HAVE to go through a consultation and x-​ray. I already knew I had flat feet, but the x-​ray and their state of the art equipment showed me just how much my flat, pronated feet are affecting my entire body. So I am now on my 3rd month of therapy — I wanted to truly experience his services before leaving a review. His therapy is life changing and in order to see results you HAVE TO GO ON A REGULAR BASIS! You will not heal if you do not dedicate yourself to this process! If you do, it will change your life too!

After more than 4 years of doing Crossfit, I decided it was time to take my health and my body to the next level. I never considered chiropractic care for all that was ailing me until my coach started seeing incredible results and urged me to get a consult. I finally decided to give it a shot and I am so thankful that I did. The adjustments and care I receive there are incredible. It has alleviated a lot of the back pain I had been experiencing for years. I have also learned that chiropractic care provides more benefits than I expected. It’s more than pain relief and has inspired wellness in other areas of my life as well. The gains in the gym are an awesome perk, too, like increased lung capacity for stamina and lift numbers on the constant rise. The staff is also one of the highlights. I truly look forward to my appointments because I know I will always be greeted with smiles, positivity and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Dr. Savi and Corrective Chiropractic have seriously changed my life! About 10 years ago, I herniated a disc in my lower back and have had numerous different treatments over the years (nerve blockers, physical therapy, other chiros) – all mitigated the pain, but none of these worked to actually CORRECT the problem at hand. Kinda like putting a band-​aid on the problem…
About 3 months ago, the pain came back substantially. I visited Dr. Savi (was referred by a friend) for an initial exam. For THE first time ever, I felt that I was thoroughly assessed and diagnosed – with a complete treatment plan. Posture was assessed, x-​rays were taken and a nerve «test» was completed. Since then, she (and Dr. Cohen when she’s not available) have been treating the specific issues and giving me exercises to help get more mobility and structural strength back into my spine.
I stopped lifting weights after the pain came back, and after only 6 weeks of treatment, I have been able to lift again – started back at much lower weights, but I feel like a whole new person?
I can’t speak highly enough about this facility and the people here! Incredibly welcoming, both doctors know my treatment plan, Jessica is incredibly easy to work with in all my many scheduling and rescheduling (and rescheduling again) – very accommodating in every way! I would definitely refer Corrective Chiro to ANYONE seeking chiro needs!

After having daily (and progressively worse) neck pain for years, I decided to try chiropractic care. Dr. Cohen and Dr. Irby are both wonderful, and I felt immediately comfortable here. After an evaluation, Dr. Irby explained their recommended treatment plan for me and took time to answer any questions I had. They are very in tune with overall health goals, and they really do care about all their patients’ well-​being. Not to mention they are the friendliest doctors I’ve ever encountered! I’m now several weeks into my treatment plan and have no neck pain to speak of. I still have some work to do to fix everything structurally, but I’m so glad I found this practice.
I also highly recommend the massages here if you have some serious knots/​tightness to work out. They are wonderful!

I cannot recommend Dr Savy Irby enough. She has done my chiropractic care throughout my pregnancy and it has made the biggest difference in how I feel! I have had no lower back pain and any pelvic pain I’ve had disappeared after she adjusted me. She really listened to my symptoms and within minutes figured out how to mitigate my discomfort. She’s the best!

Dr Cohen is a great chiropractor with an awesome team that delivers a high quality of care and outstanding customer experience each and every visit.
One of the hardest things you face when you move cities is to find a great network of people you can trust to manage your health, sanity and other personal tasks.
Unilocal and personal recommendations go along way to helping you to decide what places/​people to try out but you often need to try a few places out before you find the right one. Slightly frustrating when you are dealing with a sore back and in pain.
But I am happy to report thanks to other Unilocalers I was able to find the right provider for my back pain on the first attempt with Corrective Chiropractic and Dr Cohen.
From the moment you step through the door you are greeted by super friendly and totally awesome team members that make you feel at ease (despite being in pain).
During your first few visit the team takes their time and walk through the whole process of what Chiropractic care is, level set expectations and present a personalized treatment program that meets your individual needs.
In all my years of seeing chiropractors this was the first time I have had such a detailed and personal introduction session. It gave me peace of mind that I had found the right place. (Note — I have had to find great chiropractors in 2 countries and 5 different states).
Since then, 18 months have past and I could not be happier. Dr Cohen continues to show a high level of care and delivers consistently outstanding adjustments.
But what I love most is the high level of energy and friendliness from not only Dr Cohen but his whole team. (And yes — I do love going to the chiropractor as it is actually a fun place).
Good chiropractors are hard to find and this one is definitely a keeper.

This is my first time going to Dr. Cohen and I had an amazing experience and am very hopeful for the outlook of my health under his treatment. From the moment I walked in I was welcomed by my name immediately by Jessica at the front desk. She was very welcoming, approachable and had been very responsive even before my appointment when we were playing phone tag to schedule my appointment. In addition, the office is OUTSTANDING. You can tell a great investment was made to make this office nicer than any other chiropractic office you’ll find out there. Everything looks clean, organized, and high-​end with a splash of humility to keep it approachable. I was welcomed by Dr. Cohen and Dr. Savi (not sure how to spell it) and they gave me my own tour of the office and explained their services. Then they asked me to tell them why I was starting chiropractic care (after a 2+ year break from it), and my health history (especially falls and accidents). Afterwards Dr. Savi conducted a series of tests — the neurological, muscular and X-​ray exams. The neurological and muscular exams are pretty cool; they scan your vertebrae and it records areas that have nerve damage or muscle tissue damage to rule out one over the other. I’ve never had this luxury at other chiropractors and had always wondered sometimes if I was getting treated for something that was not actually neurological or muscular. So, this helps put me at ease that I’m getting both systems analyzed in addition to traditional X-​rays. Jessica was helpful again on my way out and I left with a homemade paleo cookie:) It was $ 97 for the initial exam, but luckily my health insurance will be covering most of my chiropractic care moving forward. But I understand that this could be really expensive for a lot of people. But I think it’s totally worth it for the different examinations you get to achieve better accuracy in your diagnosis. Your back isn’t something to mess with and having those tests done up front really puts me at ease. I’m excited for my treatment to begin and will update once I’ve gone through a longer period of treatment.

When I tell people I go to a chiropractor, a lot of people ask, «Oh, what happened? Were you in an accident?»
No, but I did want to step up my health game. At Corrective Chiropractic, you will be part of a robust health community – or, really, more of a health-​centered family. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed warmly, and both Jessica and Dr. Cohen care deeply about all aspects of your health.
This was my first experience with a chiropractor, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. After just a few weeks of going, I noticed major improvements in things that were wrong with my body that I had just given up on. I had learned to accept that my shoulders would ache with tension at the end of each work day. But regular adjustments eliminated that feeling entirely. Less easy to quantify is just my general feeling of positive energy. I feel more alert, focused, and happy, and I bounce back from illness so much faster. I know this is not just because of the adjustments Dr. Cohen provides but also because of the advice and recommendations he offers.
His office hosts a wide range of health sessions, Paleo recipe tastings, and an opportunity to buy food directly from farmers. He also has a patient card that can get you discounts at health-​focused businesses around Atlanta (I will be using that at dTox today!).
My visits to Corrective Chiropractic are one of the highlights of my week. I love feeling like I am part of a health community and like I am being cared for by people who take a personal interest in helping me become the healthiest and happiest person I can be.

Let me start with a little background on myself. I work in the entertainment industry in set lighting department. I carry heavy lights, I melt actors with these lights because the sun isn’t doing it’s job. The job is very taxing on my body and I found after doing this for several years that something just wasn’t right. I also suffered from a knee injury several years back as well.
This is where Cohen Chiropractic Centre comes in. I visited after my massage therapist recommended I go there. I figured if my massage therapist frequents there that this must be the place to get treatment. Boy was she right. The chiropractor and the staff are very friendly and they seem to treat the cause and not treat only the symptoms. This is not your standard wam bam snap crackle pop. After a thorough evaluation, I was informed that I had six vertebrae that were completely locked up, along with some pretty serious 2nd stage supination. So after two months of regular visits I’ve begun to correct my posture, my pain levels have decreased significantly, and I over all feel much better. I’m still on the path to recovery but I definitely would say that this is the place to be if you are interested in becoming a healthier more rounded individual.
My girlfriend also works in the entertainment industry as well, and she has begun regular appointments. She is also reporting similar results.
The environment is warm and inviting Cohen Chiropractic also helps you with some physical therapy type exercises that help you improve posture, neck muscles, etc. Overall I am very pleased and would highly recommend.

I’ve been moving around a bit due to college life and graduation and I’ve been to quite a few chiropractors for the past few years. No one has ever given me as much attention and care as Dr. Cohen from the diagnostic to the treatment.
After going to a few places, I thought I knew exactly what the diagnostic would be like. I came in prepared to answer the same questions about my neck and take a few xrays. He surprised me by doing several other tests I never heard of (and also by being with the times and having digital xrays instead of film!). He really focused on my whole self instead of just my neck (my problem area) and is giving me lots of tips about strengthening my neck so we can keep all the corrections he’s making. Literally no one else has adjusted my lower back before him since my neck is the real issue. I can honestly say I have never felt better since I started going here.
He also has a much larger range of services — a lot of other chiropractors I’ve been to are just a quick adjustment and you’re done. Here I do exercises, an adjustment, and a roller table — that’s a lot more adjustment for your buck! He also offers free seminars every week about nutrition, exercise, etc. He is really passionate about helping people have the best quality of life possible and it certainly shows. If I could give him 6 stars I definitely would.

He is frienly and professional and very intuned with how the body works and preventing injury. The office is a little hard to find if you don’t look in the shopping plaza but it is not that bad other than that is has a great atmosphere.

I have always been skeptical of chiropractors but Dr. Cohen has changed that. He truly cares for his patients and their overall health — not just how often the come see him. Lots of great extra curricular classes and events going on to really help you become a better and healthier person. Go see him!

There are chiropractors and then there is the amazing whole body, whole life chiropractor, Austin Cohen.
He is the Lamborghini Countach of chiropractors. I first went to him because I have bone spur pointing toward my spinal cord located in my neck C5 and the two discs were compressing, narrowing the synovial fluid flow. After several treatments, I have arrested the compression resulting in, for the first time in years, no pain.
Subsequently I violently broke my hand and was casted for six months which restricted my normal gate and exercise routine. I continued my treatments with Dr. Cohen and feel like the «whole life balance» that he promotes with positive attitude, diet, and exercise, has been extremely effective for me. Today I feel better then ever; I even lost 15lbs! My hand surgeon is ecstatic that my hand healed two months earlier than they predicted.
I credit the practice with the improvement of my whole body, mental & physical.

I was always skeptical of going to a chiropractor, for since I can remember, members of my family and friends would tell me that chiropractors aren’t «real doctors,» and that any adjustment they performed wouldn’t offer any long term health benefits.
A few years ago, I was told that I had Degenerative Disk Disease (DDD), but no doctor had ever told me that the problem could be corrected outside of surgery. Well, after suffering through intense lower back pain over the past year, I made the decision to seek alternative therapies to the usual pain medications and made an appointment with Dr. Cohen, who was recommended to me by a friend.
On my first visit, Dr. Cohen provided me a full examination (x-​rays, range of motion, & nervous system scan) to try and determine where the root of my problem lied. Upon seeing my x-​rays, he confirmed the mis-​alignment of my spine, which was causing my DDD symptoms, and placing stress on the nerves surrounding my spine. I agreed to continue treatment, and after only 2 months of spine adjustments and exercises, my lower back pain has disappeared, and I have noticed an immediate improvement in my posture and flexibility. Dr. Cohen also provides regular classes on spinal care therapy and healthy living tips for his patients teach you so much about how the human body works.
I look forward to continuing my treatment and would recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone who may be experiencing back pain or just want to have an examination and learn about proper spinal care and how to lead a healthier lifestyle.
