Connect Hearing

Efficient, professional, knowledgeable audiologist!
I recently purchased hearing protection for skeet shooting, firearms practice and hunting from Audiologist Monica Walker of Connect Hearing in Buckhead, and it was a very pleasant and efficient experience. Most important– the product works.
I first talked to Melissa who was very helpful in confirming that they could provide the Westone hearing protection unit.
Monica Walker evaluated my hearing, determined that the Westone Digital Defender hearing protection devices I was interested in would be appropriate for me, and she was able to explain the difference between several different Westone models. For years I have used foam and/​or over-​the-​ear hearing protection, and wanted a more effective way to protect my hearing while still hearing my surroundings. She took an impression of my ear canals, sent the order off to Westone, and a week later I had hearing protection that fits in my ear like a hearing aid. It was very effective at the skeet range in that I could hear conversations while my hearing was completely protected. These hearing protectors are more comfortable and effective than ear-​muffs and foam plugs while operating the weed-​whacker and chainsaw! I wish I had bought these years ago.
Note that the address for Monica Walker at Connect Hearing Buckhead is Building 2 of Security Center, 3500 Piedmont Ave NE, suite 125. Parking was easy– on both visits short term visitor parking was available right outside the door.
