Classic Collision of Buckhead

I recently had a quarter panel and door replaced at Classic Collision and they did a very nice job in a timely fashion. After some initial back and forth on the time it would take to complete the work, everything went very well. Tamara was my service coordinator and she is fantastic! She is very responsive and kept me informed every step of the way. Having an onsite car rental office there is very helpful as well. I definitely recommend Classic!

UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, INCOMPETENT COMPANY — HAD TO CALL POLICE
I strongly regret the decision to allow Classic Collision to work on my vehicle. My vehicle was involved in a not-​at-​fault collision. Below are the issues that I experienced with this company.
* Classic Collision had possession of my vehicle for 4 weeks for a simple repair (bumper, fender, headlamp, grill insert, cracked windshield, and alignment).
* Mike handled the repair process of my vehicle. Mike was unprofessional and extremely disrespectful directly to me when I raised concerns with the issues I had. He wrote an email to me stating «I should seek professional advisement». He also cursed and yelled at me in the parking lot of this business (in front of other customers and employees). This was honestly an unbelievable experience as a customer.
* I highlighted issues of damage directly from the collision that was never documented (cracked windshield and alignment). On the day before my vehicle was ready to pick up, the shop told me that the insurance company would not approve these items.
* The shop notified me one day before my car was ready to be picked up that I was being charged for a new battery even though the initial battery had absolutely no issues at the time I dropped my vehicle off. I asked for the old battery back (for inspection), however they disposed of it without my approval.
* I received minimal communication throughout the entire process and was left in the dark concerning many important issues.
* The shop refused to accept my credit card method of payment, and demanded me to pay cash (corporate policy /​advertisements says they accept credit card). This is because I expressed my dissatisfaction with the experience and did not agree with the charges I was being forced to pay for the release of my vehicle. The shop finally accepted my credit card and released my property, but only after I called the police and had an officer show up to the business.
* Lastly, the repairs that the insurance company did approve are not complete and currently have issues (protruding head lamp, scuffs and scratches on head lamp, imperfections in paint job).

*****UPDATE*****
The general manager, Ryan, made an appointment with me to address the outstanding repair issues with my vehicle (headlamp adjustment and cleaning). The shop also cleaned my other headlamp that was not in the work scope. The affected headlamp is now up to my standards.
Unfortunately, the battery issue was not corrected. I was told that the initial battery would be available for my inspection when I showed up to the shop. However, the battery that was presented to me was NOT my battery (I had pictures of initial battery). I was still charged $ 128.95 for the new battery with no proof that my initial battery was non-​functional, and I had no opportunity to buy-​buck «my» initial battery.

I had my rear bumper replaced at Classic Collision through Geico. Their service was quite fast. I had to negotiate with my Geico rep to use the OEM parts, but once we decided to do that, my car was ready in 2 days. Enterprise being in the same location was very convenient. I’m taking off one star because of the following problem.
When I was about to leave the location, I realized the low tire pressure lamp. I alerted one of the workers who told me (without checking the tires) it probably lost pressure due to change in the temperature and I just had to fill the tires up. So I drove home, only to find out that there was a nail in one of the tires, causing the low pressure. I had an out of town trip the next day and did not have time to return to Classic Collision, so I had to repair the tire on my own.
Other than this problem, my experience was positive.

I have never had a great experience at a body shop. until now! Everyone is super professional & friendly. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. If you need body work definitely go here! My car looks like new. Great work & awesome people.

We cannot express how much we enjoyed our time here! I hit my side rear view mirror on a stupid yellow pole at the bank and was panicking that it would cost a fortune to get it replaced. Our reliable mechanics (Anthem Automotive – their the best) referred us to two places: Classic Collision and Buckhead Collision. Long story short Buckhead Collision was over double the quote of Classic and they were incredibly rude. When we went in to show Classic the issue, Rashawn took care of it quickly and even buffed out the small amount of paint free of charge. Hopefully I won’t have to come back, but if anything else happens to my car, I’ll be sure to come here!

HORRIBLE! My car was rear ended and only had some minor damage. I took my car to Classic Collision in Buckhead for repairs since it was recommended by Mercedes. First off, it took them 2 months to «repair» my car! When I got my car back, the work done was not done well, and they had to redo a lot of things. The worst part of my experience is that they scratched all over my front windshield and they deny any part of it. Worst customer service, and my car is in worse condition than when I took it in! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

This place has horrible customer service. If you are not careful, they will scam and charge extra money as you sign your contract. Be careful, because all they want is money.

Worst experience. Customer service was awful. They made so much money out of me for mediocre quality car work. DO NOT COME HERE.

I recently had my car repaired at Classic Collision. I was referred by a friend who had her car repaired here as well.
They have an onsite rental car service, so you can pick your rental up at the same time you drop your car off for repair.
Tamara was my service rep. She kept informed regarding the status of my vehicle almost every day.
When I picked up my car, every service performed was thoroughly explained. My car is like new and it came with a warranty on all of my parts for as long as I own the vehicle.
I hope to not have another accident, but if I did I would definitely take it back to Classic Collision.

Thanks Jennifer for taking care of my baby (after getting rear-​ended on Atlanta’s ridiculous interstates!). Major repairs ensued and Classic Collision did a great job. Jennifer was great about keeping me informed on progress. Hope I never need them again but good to know CC is there if I do.

I have nothing good to say. I recently took my Mercedes to repair my bumper and left with my things stolen from my car and mediocre quality of wok. Granted, I was told to remove valuables from my car, so I am thinking money, electronics, but not sunglasses, air freshener, shoes, Mercedes mug… literally if its not nailed down don’t leave it. Its so disappointing because they came highly recommended by Mercedes so I felt confident that everything would be fine. And when I went back to the business to ask about my things, Mike was defensive (similar to other posts) and did not want to take responsibility. Its a shame that a few of their employees are giving this business a bad reputation. I feel violated…

Horrible experience. Problems too numerous to mention. I will not recommend to anyone.

Jennifer was amazing, everybody in town was booked 2 weeks ahead and I need my car fixed before I headed out on my road trip, I gave her the dates and she even said I can’t guarantee a time but when they look at it we can maybe gage better. Needless to say she got me in the following monday. It was really busy when I got there and I was worried maybe I will have to wait till after my trip, She even said let me see what they say because I don’t want you not to have your Car. they took a look at it and said go ahead we can have done for you by the following week. I took a chance, 2 days later she emailed me the estimate and that she is happy to say the car will be ready by friday of the same week??? Better than I expected. Then I get a call on Thursday late afternoon, My baby was ready! AMAZING thats a 3 – 4 day turn around when everybody else turned me away. They washed it and cleaned it on the inside too, I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much Jennifer you were a god send!

This place is just a scam! They refused to take photos of my car and upload it to State Farm so I could decide if I want to get my car repaired there. So many red flags! Jennifer and Gary were just awful and have sold their souls to the devil! I would NEVER use this shop for anything. Not upfront, and try to bully you into using them. It is like dealing with the mob.

The only reason I gave even one star is because you had to in order to write this review… Had a horrible experience. Went in for minor body work (repair dents, paint) and it came out with a damaged engine with white smoke bellowing out the exhaust and indicator lights on the dashboard stating there was engine damage and parking brake issues. On top of it they refused to take responsibility for the seemingly damaged engine damage and stated they only did body work and the car came in as it is… and told us to drive it off the lot stating it just needed to be driven… whereas we drove the car in to classic collision without any issues, no smoke coming out the exhaust nor any errors/​Indicator lights on the dashboard. So we absorbed the cost of having the car towed to the nearest BMW dealership to get diagnostics done on it and found out what is really wrong with the car. According to the BMW dealership classic collision blew the engine/​motor while working on the car. My car was supposed to leave the lot repaired… Not broken smdh

One star is generous. Took ridiculously long to provide an estimate. Unsatisfactory customer service. Was not kept current with the repair process. Was charged inordinately much. Took over 10 days to ship in parts and make repairs. They do not care for anything less valuable than a sports car. Changed pick up day 3 times. Tire work needed after repair complete. Not necessary before handing it into shop.

Had the worst customer service experience. Multiple employees would call me with different information. Finally, a woman called and told me my car was fixed and to come get my car. I arrived and was yelled at for coming too early. The account executive said I was lying and that no one had told me that. I asked «is the customer is always right?» and he refused to answer. They put transactions over people. That’s all you need to know.

Recently my car went head to head with a city bus… and came out limping.
I needed a convenient place to get the damage repaired so I turned to Unilocal and based on the reviews I went with Classic Collision. Perhaps they were having an extraordinarily eventful day but at least half a dozen other people came in for estimates on their cars while I was waiting for them to look at mine.
I appreciated that they had an in-​house Enterprise so I could quickly get a loaner and get on with my day. (Though I don’t doubt that the convenience came at a cost.) Mike promised that my car would be ready in seven business days which seemed reasonable enough but in reality it took almost twice that long. As a result I had to tack an extra week onto the rental.

When I finally got my car back it looked as good as new – as if the whole incident never happened. Minus stars for the extended ETA but other than that I had a good experience at Classic Collision and I would recommend their work.

I am only going to presume that Marnee must have been doing a thousand and one things when I called to inquire about services, but she was quite abrupt and not what I just read in all these other reviews. I am seriously debating taking my car here to get fixed.
