City Club of Buckhead

One of the best in the Southeast, most definitely.

I have been a member of City Club of Buckhead coming up on five years now. I use the club to entertain clients and to connect with other business leaders during the many networking events hosted each month. I have made many great friends, found mentorship, and I have met many new clients for my business.
The staff are wonderful and make it feel like home at the club. The food is fantastic and the kitchen is very accomodating to special requests. I have even hosted several birthday parties there and we have always been very impressed!

This is a low rent club. The membership fees are low, there is no membership committee and they are not selective. The club is dead at night but is busy for breakfast and lunch. I would join only if I worked in the Financial Center Building. The athletic club is filthy especially the pool.

Occupies the top floor of the building our office is in! Also adjacent to Morris Manning and Martin a strategic partner of our firm! Its great to go to a place where everyone knows your name! This is that place. On any given day we are conducting business meetings, building relationships in the community. Perfect location, great service, great people and great food!

I’ve hosted events at several Atlanta-​area clubs, but City Club of Buckhead is the most impressive according to my clients and guests. This club’s special events for members such as their complimentary breakfast buffet, $ 12 Surf & Turf dinners, and monthly complimentary networking receptions make it a better value in my opinion than other local clubs who charge higher dues.

I’ve been a member for about 2 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Great people at the club. Additionally, the gym has a steam room, which immediately won me over right from the start!

Not 5 stars because I don’t really have a reference point.
I’ve held off writing this review for a few weeks until any honeymoon effect had a chance to fade; it’s only gotten better.
I joined because I was tired of having business meetings with exploding coffee machines in the background and people listening to my stuff.
This place was recommended to me by my real estate agent that sold me my intown home a year ago (go, Abbie! see my review of her) and that we have remained buds with her; her recommendation was right on.
The fee each month is minuscule, the benefits amazing, the views out of this world and the staff super friendly. Where else can I get a kick ass breakfast, French pressed coffee, hand squozed grapefruit juice, have an excellent venue to meet with someone AND see the World Cup (Portugal v. Brazil, tied 0 – 0) all at the same time and for a VERY reasonable amount?
I’m sold.

I am a new member of the City Club of Buckhead. I recently hosted a business breakfast for 50 people in a private meeting room. I was incredibly impressed with the event planning to the execution. The catering manager is very accommodating and professional. I had several last minute changes that she incorporated flawlessly. The service is outstanding, and Juan in particular is to be commended. The food was fresh and nicely displayed. Not once did I need to ask for anything. My guests were very impressed with the space as well.
The City Club has a more intimate feel than its neighbor and former occupant, The Buckhead Club, though both are excellent clubs. CCB is inviting and hospitable, provides an excellent space to meet clients and colleagues and offers a very nice gym with pool.
I am very pleased to be a member of this club and look forward to future business events and utilizing more of it’s services.

There is not a separate page for the Athletic Club part of the City Club of Buckhead, so I just thought I would review the it here. So this review is for the gym only, not the rest of the place.
City Club is a fantastic small gym in the heart of Buckhead. It is not a large space, and it is not a place to «be seen and meet people», unlike the neighboring LA Fitness and Forum. This is a less busy small facility with a pool, workout room, cycle room, and group fitness room. Also has steam rooms and a spa, but I’ve never actually used those.
The gym is the cleanest and most sanitary one I’ve ever been a member of. They provide you everything you need, the staff is friendly, and the trainers and instructors are all fantastic. Truly positive and convenient environment for busy fast-​paced Buckhead business lifestyle. Here you can be in-​and-​out within 90 minutes at lunchtime, and get a great workout without having to deal with hassles of a large overpopulated gym.
The reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is (in my opinion) lack of space and demand for more group fitness classes. An extra, even small, group fitness room would allow for another option of class, on the days when something as specific as Spin or Yoga are not exactly catering to the entire general audience. Otherwise, it’s a fabulous and convenient find for this area.

I held my wedding on May 10^th, 2009 @ this place, specifically in the atrium area. My guest has been saying that the wedding was the most beautiful they’ve ever seen. The outside view was tremendous and the place itself was beautiful and professionally kept.
From the wedding planner point of view, the staff has been EXEMPLARY. Especially Kimberly, who has been helping us a lot from the beginning until the end of everything and very professional! Every request that we had was handled carefully and with much thought. Personally I’ve been to many weddings, and I can see that the staff here is the BEST. They help the atmosphere in the event to be joyful and FUN.
The head chef, Glenn Butler, has provided a very tasty cuisine and showed his wide-​range of his skill in the menu choice. Also Brian created a beautiful cake for us.
I would recommend this place to anybody who is planning to have a wedding, and I believe this will be a memorable wedding last for a lifetime!

Very nice renovation from the old Buckhead Club space. This is more a country club than a business club and the feel is set to be warm and inviting. A nice destination to entertain. Good opportunity to get in early and help shape the growth.
