So, Just Checked This Place Out For The First Time. It’s kind of small inside, only 2 tables. Not a dine-in place. Staff was friendly. Pork Fried Rice– Rice was a little bland and dry tasting. My husband was happy there were no bean sprouts in it. Not sure if it’s always like that or they forgot them. He was happy to not have to pick them out. haha The little strips of pork in it, were a little sticky Beef on a Stick– Beef was burnt and dry. Had to throw away :( Sweet & Sour Chicken– As you can see from the photo I posted, chicken was over cooked, or cooked in dirty oil. It wasn’t dry though, so that’s a plus. It did taste a little off though. Chicken & Veggies– I was pleased with this dish. It Strongly tasted of ginger but I like ginger. There was a lot of chicken in it too. Veggies all tasted fresh. Egg Rolls– Egg rolls tasted fresh. Wrapper wasn’t chewy or super thick like other places. I was pleased with them. All and All, meh. I’d give it 2 ½ stars. I can’t hit the 3 stars though.

Excellent service. I went last night and was given some Hot & Sour soup for free. They remembered I had ordered it last time and that I liked! Excellent customer service. Will be my go-to Chinese takeout from now on!

Came to try out the local Chinese spot and had a bad experience. I asked for their lunch menu and picked out two lunch entrees. Once I paid for my food I noticed that the price charged was different than the price advertised. I kindly asked why it was different and was told that their prices change all the time. I asked if they were going to update their menus and was told that the manager would have to make that decision. I asked to speak with the manager and was told the manager lived in China and only returns once a year. I left the topic alone and took my food which wasn’t bad, but I value customer service and so I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Great costumer service but the food was regular I mean no flavored at all. I tried the chicken fried rice and well I wasn’t satisfied at all not taste kind of dried. Please just keep it up with flavor thanks.

I decided to give this location another try after a slight belly ache from a previous order of the steam tofu with vegetables. Today I ordered just steam vegetables from their«spa cuisine» and NO tummy ache. So maybe it was just that batch of tofu– IDK, anyhow they have Great vegetarian/healthy options. Full of robust flavors. Friendly customer service. Food always fresh and hot. Ready to eat!!!

Visiting from out of town. My brother lives very close to this place. He has eaten here twice and says its okay. Today he got Singapore style noodles and shrimp with pot stickers. Says it tasted okay. I got Mongolian Beef lunch special with fried rice. Taste okay nothing right home about. About the same as Panda Express level. Its cheap quick chinese food. Suggest pick up or to go order. Didnt seem like a place U eat in.

I live nearby, so this is my go-to place for quick Chinese take-out. I’ve tried several of the(non-fried) chicken entrees and they’ve all been very flavorful, and one serving(includes vegetables and steamed rice) can easily feed two people for around $ 10. I think the fried rice is a bit bland and somewhat overpriced compared to other places, but at least their portions are generous.

UPDATE: Since having lunch there Tuesday, I’ve been battling an upset, nauseous stomach. I can’t hold anything down. Praying it’s not the norovirus. *************************************************************************************** Picked up lunch from there today since my office is literally right across the street. BIGMISTAKE. Ordered the Sesame Chicken lunch special, but the best thing was the fortune cookie. The sesame chicken was vinegary and very tough. Although the special was supposed to have come with«fried rice” — the rice was anything but– bland as hell(even after adding 2 packs of soy sauce) and obviously the spring roll was made for a smurf as small as it was. The good thing was that my meal was right at $ 7. If I’d paid anymore I would have been mad as a hornet. I won’t be back. Even if it was free. I’ll stick to the more traditional, «dine-in» Chin Chin on Spring Road. I wish Unilocal gave us the option of NOSTARS.

The part of the order that was correct was DELICIOUS and would have rated another star. But ordering for delivery was tedious. First they told us they didn’t deliver here although they had just a few weeks earlier. Then the lady took at least 5 repetitions of every word of the address to understand it correctly. We’ve ordered twice, for 4 adults. The first time we ordered spring rolls and got egg rolls. This time one of us ordered chicken lo mein and got chicken fried rice. But they will make substitutions such as switching brown sauce to spicy brown sauce and adding spicy to the sesame chicken. Overall, we’ll order again, maybe the third time will be the charm!

Ordered from here one night last week while stuck at work, forgot to bring anything and I was hungry, figured I’d give them a shot. Order was hassle free, delivery time wasn’t bad for Roswell Road on a weeknight, and the order was correct, hot, and full of goodies, sauces, cookies, etc, but no silverware, which kinda sucked since I got soup. The soup, wonton, was very good, I mean it’s hard to mess up wonton and they didn’t. I enjoyed it after finding a spoon. The Mongolian beef was less pleasing, there were mushrooms which I’ve never seen on this entrée anywhere and the meat was definitely overcooked, while also very bland. It worked out that I ate a bunch of rice because honestly the beef and onions were just too done for me. Maybe it was a fluke, but I’ll be hesitant if pressed to eat here again.

I just called Chin Chin to have my lunch delivered, and it turns out, I called this location by mistake. The guy on the phone was very rude, and hung up on me before I could even ask which restaurant I needed to call. I called back to confirm that he did in fact just hang up, and to let him know that that’s very rude, but then he just hung up again. No apologies. This is not the first time I’ve had poor customer service at a Chin Chin. My money won’t be wasted on idiots.

I had a craving for Chinese food and decided to try something that was close to my house. I have had all of the other Chinese restaurants around the sandy springs northridge area and never had chin chin. I ordered the sesame chicken and I should have known better than to eat there but I was hungry. I ate the sesame chicken and it was the worst thing I have ever eaten. The staff is very rude and incompetent and I personally think they need to shut down. Horrible service.

I usually order very specifically and reiterate my order several times to ENSURE that it is understood… Vegetable fried rice, extra spicy, NOOO E-G-G-, no onions/scallions, no MSG… and of course when I receive my order and it has eggs in it, we have a small problem… Oh, I have a positive though, you can recharge your laundromat card here but if you use a credit card, umm yeah, that’s gonna be an extra dollar… people I swear I thought this was illegal or maybe just in the state I’m from… NEwho, happy Unilocaling~

The food is mediocre at best. The dumplings were bland and tastesless, same with the fried rice. If you think their food is good, you haven’t had decent Chinese before.

I wish I could say better things about Chin Chin Express, I really do. I’ve had one decent experience, and one recently that wasn’t. I went through my sesame chicken desperately seeking redemption, but found nothing. Perhaps it was an off-night for them. Maybe the chef was emotionally distracted by troubles at home. Did I order something they’re just not very good at putting together? I tried different approaches to justify the sordid state of my sesame chicken, but come on. This is always something I thought was safe to use as a chinese delivery bellweather, of sorts. The delivery was at least blindingly fast. Was it enough to merit forgiveness for gristle-ridden pieces of sesame chicken that were helpless and lonely in an inadequate amount of watery sauce? I suppose not. I’ll give them another shot in the future with a different dish. I really hate writing bad reviews.

The best takeout I have had in a while. I just started working down the street from Chin Chin, and it was recommended by the office. The food wasn’t overly greasy and prepared fresh.

Some of the best Chinese food in Atlanta hands down!!! Beef fried rice is crazy. And you get a mass amount of food for the price.
