Candidates & Professionals Be Ware!!! Chase Staffing, which is a.k.a. «Chase Professionals», is a group of undisciplined recruiters who are nothing more than ‘search agent specialists’ out of high school or college. After recruiter Paulo Rodriguez reached out to me in search of what he claimed was a Scrum Master position (I am a Scrum Master) and scheduling an interview with his client (Flight Global /​Reed Corp. UK), I downloaded Skype (he affirmed it was a Skype call) only to learn at the time of the interview that Skype would not be the application we would use during the interview and that this position was not for a Scrum Master as Rodriguez had recruited. I was a bit aghast during the conversation as one can imagine. When I relayed this information back to the agency, there was no response, just an imaginary shoulder-​shrug. In fact, weeks went by and Rodriguez and another Chase rep Brad Mitchell (who had also contacted me about this same position — as if there is internal competition to snag the best talent from one another within Chase?) were contacted both via email & phone and they would not return my interest to gain feedback from their client as a result of the interview. On the Chase Professionals Philosophy Goals, this is what the company taut: CHASE Philosophy — ‘Our goal is to honor God by applying Biblical principles to the workplace.

We strive to always practice the Golden Rule, treating all others like we want to be treated.
We value excellence in performance at the corporate level, the branch level, and the individual level.’ I guess responding to a candidate that they solicited not only for this position but the candidate entertained their client isn’t «the right thing.» … After 7 weeks, I contacted Chase Professionals president Roy Abernathy and presented him with the facts of the matter and this was his response: «Thanks for your feedback & I am sorry that we weren’t more responsive to you and didn’t communicate better. However, you did mention our Chase Philosophy. Our goal is to attain those standards, but as you must know, none of us is good enough to reach this because of our basic sinful nature. Only Jesus was able to live the perfect life. So I am sorry for our imperfections, but it is better for us to have high goals and try to reach them rather than having no goals at all. Also, we also must be able to forgive the imperfections in others as well. I have to do this with our staff, our clients, & our candidates. So thanks again for bringing this to my attention so I could alert Chase, who is the manager of our IT Division. Have a nice weekend & I hope we can do a good job for you in the future. Roy Abernethy» As a result of lighting this fire with the president, both recruiters Rodriguez and Mitchell quickly (within 12 hours of my email to Abernethy) responded with updates; Mitchell actually wrote «Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I just saw your email» — 8 days after I sent the inquisition requesting feedback… They must be having technical issues??? LOL… Not very professional. Avoid this circus train and don’t waste your time. There are better qualified agencies out there; this is sewage that stinks and you, as a professional, should take your opportunity elsewhere.

Worst group of unethical and stupid people I have ever encountered. These recruiters are appalling. Job seekers, do not waste your time with these lowlifes.
