Flew into Atlanta, GA from Chicago, IL for the first time May 25, 2016. Saw the restaurants and decided that I would eat there upon departure. I am very glad I did because Charley’s Philly Steaks was absolutely delicious May 29, 2016. I had the Original Philly Cheese steak. The flavor of the steak was brilliant and did not need any condiments to cover it up. The bread was very good and so were the french fries. Informed the Chef that it was so and that I would be back if ever in Atlanta again.

This place is disgusting… The chicken philly is some kind of pressed meat, doesn’t even resemble chicken.

After standing in the security checkpoint for what seemed like an eternity, but which was actually 1 hour(?) I worked up an appetite. I had to go to C1 which is the very last gate on the concourse. I knew I wanted something filling but quick to get so this was my pick. The service was quick to order, but there was only one guy making the sandwiches so all my waiting was for my meal. I ordered and paid for the gourmet fries but I got regular fries instead. By the time I got to my gate and found a seat to sit down, I didn’t feel like getting up to argue over the fries. But mind you, I wanted what I paid for. The Teriyaki chicken sandwich was really good. The bread was toasted, soft and a little chew, but in a good way. The next time I go to Atlanta and I’m on concourse C I will definitely order from Charley’s Philly steaks.

Fast ordering, but they do not listen to your order. Requested regular(i.e. Medium) Chechen philly with cheese ranch onions and buffalo sauce. Half the sandwich had sauce. No ranch dressing. Got lettuce and tomato which I didn’t order. French fries didn’t seem fully cooked. That said they were very busy. Also due to how busy they were, the small dining area was very dirty. All tables and chairs had food and drink spilled on them, including garbage on floor. Given the efficiency I assume when patrons slow they will probably clean up. Cook the food fully. And fill orders as requested. I would dine elsewhere when busy.

The food is ok. They were so busy and got both items on my order wrong. The cheese fries had bacon on it and my philly(which is supposed to come with onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers) had lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. They fixed the fries but I didn’t bother them about the philly. It’s decent. I also think they overcharged me like 40 cents. It’s not a lot, but if they did that to every customer, it would add up for them.

I was flying out on Southwest Airlines so this was at the beginning of the concourse. My gate was all the way at the other end. I order a chicken cheese steak. My order got lost and after waiting I finally spoke up they gave me the wrong thing. I was in a hurry and aggravated at this time. I said just forget it and was going to walk away until one gentleman, the manager I assume, stepped forward and asked what is your gate number and we will deliver it to you. Not only did it come to me correctly, but quickly and upgraded in size. We all make mistakes in our day. This gentleman stood up and owned it and did what he could to make it right. I need to mention what a fine sandwich and a tasty treat the sandwich is. Thank you, for making customer service your most important product.

Average airport food chain type of set up. I ordered the bacon Philly cheese steak with fries and that yummy lemonade they offer. When I rate it against any other type of place that offers these type of sandwiches it’s comes in right about average. I probably wouldn’t eat here again if I’m hungry at the Hartsfield Jackson airport lol. People will complain about the food prices but let’s be honest it’s the airport and we all know that everything is overpriced for the«convenience» or whatever but that would be the last $ 13 I’ll spend on that basic Philly cheese steak and to add insult to injury they were really cheap on the meat smh.

I stopped here on a quick layover and ordered a small Philly cheesesteak combo that came with fries and a drink. My assessment: * Service was quick and polite. * Price was a little steep for what you get, but can’t really avoid that at the airport. * Mediocre Philly cheesesteak sandwich * Good thick-cut fries; I added malt vinegar and Old Bay seasoning * Delicious peach lemonade!!! It was sweet and tangy(a little more sweet than tangy) with pieces of peach at the bottom. It’s decent for fast food, but I would probably only return to order a drink either before or after trying food elsewhere in the terminal.

The food is underwhelming and the staff is unprofessional. They are all yelling over each other. In fact the man tried taking my order before he finished the transaction with the gentleman before me. I could tell the gentleman in front of me felt rushed, and it made me uncomfortable.

Not much space due to the location. I had the philly steak, which was just mediocre. The line was long, but the wait wasn’t bad. Of course, being in the airport, prices are on the high side for what you get.

I was only going to be at ATL long enough for a crew change on my flight’s stopover and Charlie’s was right by my gate. The line looked manageable and there was an entire crew cooking up the food to order, so it looked like a good bet. Their sandwiches come in small, regular and large sizes, and you can get them a la cart or as a combo with fries or «gourmet fries» and a soft drink. There are salads available as well. All of the sandwiches come with lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo too, but that sounded too«healthy» for my tastes, and it just didn’t seem like a real Philly with fresh vegetables– haha! It’s no problem ordering it how you want though, since they make everything fresh. My Philly Cheesesteak was hot, fresh and melty deliciousness… I got the small, but wished I’d gotten the large because I devoured it as fast as I could without burning my mouth on the hot grilled ingredients(although the waist of my jeans are probably glad I stuck with the small!). The«Gourmet Fries» all looked pretty tasty too. They came with toppings such as bacon & cheese or chili. Nothing healthy about it, but fry consumers aren’t generally the health-nut types anyway… All in all, it’s a great layover meal break and I’d definitely stop here again if I’m traveling through :)

Customer service was robotic but pleasant. I was here around 730am, I ordered a cheese steak regular. I made it a combo; fries and a drink, it came to damn near $ 13. Was it worth it? Hell no!!! It was a $ 8 cheese steak sandwich at best. Would I come back? If I was starving out of my mind like I was today yes. But to say ooooh im craving charlies, no. Philly connection is way better. I was appalled they didnt offer oil and vinegar but sell salads *_* oh well… I was starving.

The cheesesteaks are alright. It’s the best place I have found in the airport for cheesesteaks. The meat was juicy but lacked flavor. The ultimate fries are covered in nacho cheese and sour cream. I guess I expected average and that’s what it is.

As airport food goes… pretty darn good. They have lots of ways to specialize that they don’t really tell you in advance, so stand close to the counter and let them know as they make it for you what additions you want… lettuce tomato banana peppers etc. Sell beer there too. And not quite sure how they manage their orders… mine ended up getting bumped a few times so waited about 20 min for my order of a chicken filly. I wasn’t in a rush… at first… so didn’t mind much. And the sandwich stayed warm until we took off and I got my ‘complimentary’ drink on the plane.

I’m allowed to give Charley’s 5 stars for their cheese steaks because I’m not from Philadelphia and can claim ignorance when other people say these aren’t ‘purist-approved’ cheese steaks. In my mind, so what! It’s a quick tasty sandwich and it fits perfectly in on my layovers in ATL where I don’t have enough time to sit down at PF Chang’s, or if I happen to come into or depart from C concourse. Some comments about limited seating are being generous, there are maybe 5 tables and a couple seats at an elbow bar near the entrance. They used to have a ton of seating but remodeled sometime this past year or so to put in a restaurant next door… italian place(maybe? Dunno, never paid attention since I always ignore it as I walk by heading for Charley’s). Either way, it cut into available seating. But I’m not above crouching over a Charley’s Philly Deluxe in an empty seat at a neighboring gate. The sandwiches are made to order, veggies always fresh. I do have to keep an eye on them as I dislike mayo and they tend to apply it to every sandwich from muscle memory perhaps. In and out in 10 minutes, full and satisfied. Lemonade here is good as well! Oh… if you’re in a rush, give the sandwich a minute to cool down before taking that first steaming hot, molten-cheese-filled bite… your tongue and roof of your mouth will thank you!

Charley’s is opposite gate C13 and they make cheesesteaks. Tasty grilled meat and cheese on a bun. It’s not quite traditional Philly style(lettuce? tomatoes??) but it’s still yummy and fattening if you’re into that sort of thing. As I was on this late trip through the busiest airport in the world.

Great service. And great sandwiches for an airport place. I’ve flown plenty times but this was way up there in my «best quick bites while waiting for the next flight» list. First of all, the manager was awesome. I mean, the guy in front of me was counting his coins. Seriously, he brought a big old bag of quarters and dimes in a plastic bag and was counting them to give the clerk behind the counter. The manager comes up and goes, «we like coins. And we like taking coins too. Take your time. No problem.» I mean, this was not a fake«I’m just talking nice cos I work here» nice. You feel it when someone means it. And then the ladies that took my order were nice too! They had big old smiles and did’nt mind that I wasn’t all awake. Lol I was insanely busy for a few days and trust me I did not make sense when I ordered. I couldn’t keep talking about one thing or focus either. So they did a good job keeping me focused and voila, when tmthey came out, they were all correct orders. Last but not least, the chicken philly I got was legit. Seriously, this ain’t your subway around the corner. The buns were hot, hot, the chicken was tender, the tomato was fresh. And the veggie was just super. I’m a carnivore. But I actually didn’t mind the veggie so I stole more of my wife’s and she only had half. Lol

Would you believe that Charley’s is a whole store dedicated to the best Philly cheesesteaks… and all of them under 500 calories??? Well the tooth fairy doesn’t exist either, so get over it. Charley’s does however make decent Philly when you’re in the airport. … For when you’re in the airport.(Is there an echo in here?) The sandwich was actually pretty decent although I went simple, meat, cheese, bread, peppers & onions. What I *wanted* was jalapenos mixed in but no such luck. Pro tip: Ask for your meat extra cooked.

Flavorless! I was really excited when I landed and saw the Philly Cheesesteak sign. I ran over and ordered the Chicken philly combo complete with the bacon ranch cheese fries and a coke. First bite: disappointing. The entire sandwich had no flavor. There were little to no onions and peppers just low quality chicken smothered in mayo. Don’t eat here. Go to Five Guys! This place is crummy. The only okay thing were the fries. They tasted okay, but nothing worth writing about.
