Catch Air

Catch Air never disappoints us with its cleanliness, friendly staff, and kid friendly environment! The only reason I am giving this place a ⁴⁄₅ stars is because the one in Sandy Springs is more spacious and less crowded on the weekends. Parking is also a bit of a problem at this location, but it is manageable.

I have two little kids. One 10 months and the other 2.5 years old. We were driving from North Carolina to California. We decided to find a place the kids could play and get out of the car. We read the reviews and this place did not disappoint. For the price we had so much fun. Even is as parents. Would totally recommend to anyone in the area or passing though. Our kids are happy and most important TIRED. Now back on the road…

This place is definitely perfect for kids that are a year old since it has a area that caters for younger/​smaller kids. They also do birthday events and the staff are very friendly. Adults do have to wear socks as well, no shoes in the play area. My 7 year old niece also enjoyed herself.

Good place to take kids to get a combination of bounce, play and slide. They are more than just a bounce place but my 7 and 4 year old love this place over the other typical bounce houses. They actually prefer the playground area that looks sort of like a Super Mario video game. Parking is a little tight here and wish there were more areas for parents to sit but the kids love it.

Such a great spot for kids. Kinda small and too loud though for grown ups. Closes early.

I LOVE this location! My kids agree that this is our new favorite. I like that they use popular characters for the kids instead of the generic ones. During dance time, Minnie Mouse and Elmo came out and Super Mario danced along on the big screen. I think my favorite part about this location was the ice cold a/​c! It tends to get hot in places like this when you’re running around with your children, climbing and sliding and such, but that was not an issue this go-​round because the air was cold and crisp. I also liked that the facility, bathrooms included, was exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. There was lots of extra seating for parents. The bathroom floors where dry and toilets looked clean. I noticed that the employee who was giving out stamps at the door took her role very seriously, she made sure that no one entered or left without a stamp check, this is important for me as my 3 year old is infamous for roaming. Overall, this is a great place to take your little ones. They can run and jump until their legs are weak. They can yell, and scream until their voices leave, and when the day is over they’ll sleep like angels. I LOVE Catch Air Midtown, and I look forward to many more visits.

Catch Air is seriously one of the best indoor play places in Atlanta! But, you will not find me anywhere near this place on the weekends, nights or when kids are off school. It’s like an insane nightmare! Too many kids!
But!
Reasons I like Catch Air:
1) Great way to get your child to become utterly exhausted!
2) Versatile play equipment!
3) It’s clean!
4) Various creepy mascots come out and dance with the kids!
5) Glow-​In-​the-​Dark, Black Out dance parties every hour! Rave on!
I love that all the equipment is great for all different ages. There is a «fenced off» area for smaller children under 3. It’s filled with little merry-​go-​rounds, small slides, ball pit and padded area for babies to crawl.
There’s also a jungle themed area for the slightly larger children filled with multiple slides, ball pit, air gun room, and much more.
There’s also a dance floor that lights up! This is where the basis of al the glow-​in-​the-​dark dance parties take place! Parents and care givers can feel transported back into their rave days… but without the drugs ;)
There is also a small inflatable with obstacles. And there’s a giant slide inflatable as well. And, parents can go down the slide with their children!
There are also two interactive touch screen TV’s that have various games for children on them everyday. And music is constantly blasting!
Catch Air also offers food, snacks and beverages for purchase. So, outside food and drinks are frowned upon :(And socks are a must!
Also, very secure and safe environment! Parent must fill out electronic waiver before entering. Both parent and child are stamped that match one another’s and are matched up before leaving. And the front area with desk/​shoe cubbies, and play area are separated by a small wall, so it’s hard for anyone to slip out unnoticed.
So, have fun and expect to get exhausted!

A great place to take the little tots to blow off some steam. Although most adults don’t seem to take advantage of this — we are allowed to climb around and play like monkeys, too!
Okay, so I feel like a giant on most of the stuff, and a rather silly giant at that, but who cares? It’s fun!
Every now and then they turn off the lights and have a little dance party. So I bring out my dorkiest moves and we all have a blast.
It’s a lot of stimulation, the music can get kinda loud, so be prepared to go wild and get your yayas out.

If you have a child, bad weather and tolerance for lots of noise and chaos, this is the place to set them free to torture other parents eardrums. Usually pretty packed on the weekends, this is a life saver for many parent did kids who just want to run around and get that energy out. Clean, well priced and well thought out. They have plenty of seating for parents and lots if outlets to charge the phones and tablets. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but an exhausted, sleepy toddler ready for a nap makes this place a godsend! Lots of bday parties on weekends to compete with.

We took our kids here today, and I doubt that we will be going back. The floors, etc., were filthy, and the employees seemed more interested in chatting with one another than working/​cleaning. To top it all off, they don’t have pizza on-​site; instead, they have a «contract» with Papa John’s, so you order your pizza through Catch Air, and then wait. We ordered our pizza, paid, and waited 1 ½ hours. When I finally asked the Catch Air employee when we could expect the pizza, we were told that the «other manager» forgot to order it. We could either wait another hour for a new pizza or get a refund. No apologies, no apology for the inconvenience, no offer of passes to compensate us for having to leave early to go get lunch for our now-​starving kids. A very unprofessional operation, in my view.

I think this location is a little smaller than the Sandy Springs location. Pretty much looks the same inside. I love the intown location. Everything is clean.
We were there for a birthday party. They run like clockwork. I thought it was great to see Olaf and other characters for the birthday dance.
This is a great place to bring young kids when it’s cold, rainy and they need to burn some energy off.

Awesome Awesome place! The ultimate fun experience. I have a super active one yr old and I couldn’t dream up a place more fun for her. I had a blast too. The only thing lacking is the snack options. The reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because they have mainly sodas and chips, not many healthy options at all which creates problem after a few hrs being there. Overall a really fun place where you’ll forget you’re not a kid too

My 2 ½ year old had a blast here. Really great place for rainy day fun. Parking isn’t the greatest, but worth the walk back up the hill.

Went to a birthday party here yesterday and it was a lot of fun! Very crowded and noisy but it appeared the kids were having a blast. My 18-​month was a little scared at first but warmed up after an hour or so. My only complaint would be that they need to have an employee spend more time around the baby/​toddler area because there were a ton of big kids over there jumping on everything even though it was clearly posted that kids over the age of 5 were not allowed in that area. A few times, the big kids nearly knocked my daughter off the rides and once hit her in the head. Since there were no employees in sight, I had to reprimand them myself. Loved the dance parties! They could definitely make the signing in process more streamlined.

It’s an ok place as far as indoor play areas go, but there a lot of drawbacks. Parents can’t wear shoes, which makes going to the bathroom or the water fountain a disgusting mess. The snack options are atrocious and no outside food is allowed. They do stamp hands, so no worry about your kid running out or leaving with a stranger. There isn’t a lot of seating for parents, which is a drawback if you have older kids and want to read or work on the computer. I probably won’t go back, since there are already a lot of better bounce house options ITP.

My first review for 2014!!!
I took my 2 and 5 year old today since it was gross outside. I love this intown location. The layout is different that the SS location, which I enjoyed. The check in process should have been short and sweet, but they had issues with the network. They stamp your child’s arm and your hand with a matching black light stamp and check it on your way in and out. I love that everyone, including adults, must wear socks. No shoes and no bare feet allowed.
It was not busy at all and the music level was not too high. My kids lived the jungle gym area with the air guns (safe ones) and ball area. The slides were also a lot of fun. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase, but are not hat cheap. Since you can’t bring your own, I suggest you go between meals. They do have water fountains, but they spray too high and the kids got their shirts and socks wet.
Even though there were no parties, they did turn off the mail lights and lit up the dance floor and added some strobe light features while an Elmo character came out to dance with the kids. This was a nice touch!
The bathroom (only saw the women’s) was very clean. They had a kiddie size potty and a step stool for them by the sink.
It is difficult to watch two kids there, so if you do go with 2 or more, make sure that they are self sufficient.
If I could make one recommendation it would be to include your rates on the website. I had to call.
It is $ 6 for kids 2 and under. $ 10 for kids 3 – 12. Tax is not included in that rate, so be prepared to spend a little bit.
I know that we lucked out with it not being super busy, so I would always suggest calling before you go so you know how many parties or how busy it is, and usually go when it opens since more parties are I the afternoons. .l

I take my 2-​yo son to these indoor playgrounds pretty frequently whenever it’s rainy and we just want to get out of the house. Catch Air is a «playground» type of environment (as opposed to the bounce-​house type of indoor play area.
Pros:
This CA is much newer and has some cool new attractions including air guns for the ball pit (much more tame than it sounds, it’s safe) and a spider web tower. My son loves to just hang out on the trampoline at the bottom of the tower and bounce. It’s much cleaner and more brightly lit than other locations. Everything is well padded and tied down so injuries are at a minimum. I really like to go inside the playground with my son so the bigger kids don’t run him over and nobody has ever told me I couldn’t.
Cons:
The music is WAY too loud for youngsters. It hurts my ears and I’m 20% deaf. My son often holds his ears, especially if a pop song comes on. Sometimes the music choices are inappropriate too, but there was simple Christmas music on today which was enjoyable. The sign in process could be a little more efficient considering the tablet tech at their disposal. Can’t I just keep a waiver on file and check mark «yes» to agree? I do wish the «iPhone Moms» would keep eyes on their kids a bit more as a few incidents have happened (sharing, stealing, pushing, etc.) and there’s been nobody to intervene, but that’s not CA’s fault. I did find one piece of unpadded metal support that much son managed to conk his head on, but management said they would have it fixed. I’ll update this review if that’s true.
All in all, it’s a great place for a party or for kids to run around when the weather isn’t so nice and cabin fever sets in, just bring earplugs.

This seems to be the sixth location in the area and is similar to the Roswell Rd location, but opened end of December 2013 and has a bit more space. It was brand new and clean (though a few things were still being added) and fairly empty, so the kids roamed around having a good time. They even had a dance party with a mascot for the 10 – 12 kids there at the time (I would have guessed they did this only for parties).
