Just found out about this place !! We are going to a party tonight and we have to get the dessert. I was so surprised that I’ve never been here before especially since I love sweets and if they are made from scratch and by a small black business, even better, and the little faces they put on the cupcakes free of charge mind you, i would have flipped if I saw those when I was younger! My sister got 12 different flavored for the party and j got 2 for the road the raspberry and white chocolate macadamia nut they both are so good and very rich… I will most definitely be coming back

I was happy to get cupcakes for $ 2 each on Tuesdays between 2−4pm which was otherwise worth $ 3.50.
It looked great but I am yet to taste them.
Wish they had flavors of dark chocolate and tiramisu. Also allow frosting to write someone specials name on cupcakes ‘on the spot’ as I never thought I had to give order in advance. Even didn’t know had to give Truffle order in advance.

Cami Cakes cupcakes are perfect. Coming from Chicago, I am a cupcake connoisseur. Sprinkles and Magnolia Bakery’s cake is dry, GiGi Cupcakes will cause your teeth to fall out they have sooo much sugar in their frosting, Flirty Cupcakes are pretty good, with moist cake and decent flavor, but some flavors are too oily. Cami Cakes are Perfect, moist cake, great frosting to cake ratio, delicious flavor alll the way through from the frosting to the cake! I’m never dissatisfied with any order! And they made a great Christmas dessert. Please please let us know when you hit the Chicago market :-)

Red Velvet are my favorite! These cupcakes are so moist and the place is always clean. I gave it 4 stars only because I haven’t tasted every flavor, but when I get around to tasting them, I’m sure I’ll bump up my review.

Cami cakes was definitely a treat! I had the carrot cup cake, and strawberry cream. Must admit I was scraping the cup cake wrapper for more when I finished. The icing was just the right level of sweet without creating a sugar rush. This adorable spot is my new found love with several more cupcake flavor creations to try!

The meringue on the key lime cupcakes is second to none. my First time was Surprisingly light and delicious, next time one of the same flavors I bought was slightly overbaked. Very nice staff I enjoy the pretty décor too. Would like to see a bit more variety!

RUDE. Called about ordering 2 dozen cupcakes as the website wasn’t allowing the order to be processed. Was informed no online orders are accepted after 5pm for cakes or minis. Would have been nice to know that before I went through the trouble of building an order online. Fine, whatever… so I asked if I can stop by the shop in the morning and buy cupcakes. The rude woman on the phone said «our bakers are gone. We don’t take orders after 5pm.» When I pressed her — «so you don’t sell cupcakes on your shop?» — she simply reiterated with attitude that the bakers have left & they don’t take orders after 5pm.
Spoke to the West Village shop, asked if I they would have minis to purchase in-​store tomorrow around 11am. It was as if I asked the woman to recite the Pythagorean theory backwards & in Greek. She had to ‘check with someone’ & came back to say they might have leftovers & that she’d go look. While trying to put me on hold she disconnected the call.
It’s not rocket science: does your shop have cupcakes to sell in-​store at 11am?!
They may make a decent product, but my colleagues also shared stories of woeful customer service. I’ll take my $ 40 order elsewhere.

Rude staff. Walked in and they didn’t even care to come to the front to greet me. My order was not ready and they didn’t seem to care either. Never were they apologetic and the whole time I wondered where the southern hospitality was within this place. Good cupcakes but terrible customer service.

First time here and I can say it’s amazing. The frosting they use is great the only downfall is that they don’t have much selection of beverages or any ice cream which I would have liked. I had the peanut butter red velvet red berry coconut lemon lime and the regular I’ve and all were superb

I cannot believe I saw ANY bad reviews for CamiCakes! That is asinine! CamiCakes has amaaaaazing cupcakes. They are so moist and delectable! My favorite so far is the sweet potato cupcake but the banana cream is a second runner up. If you follow the instructions (i think it was on the receipt) and NOT refrigerate the cupcakes like they tell you, you can enjoy them the next day with the same level of moistness they have on the initial day…
I can’t wait to go back!
Also, CamiCakes is a million times better than Sprinkles. Don’t debate me. One MILLION.

Cami cakes is something special. It’s in the Vinings neighborhood. You have to turn into the SunTrust parking lot and it will appear with the big pink sign. Employees are always friendly they are usually eating cupcakes when you walk in which I don’t blame them. They serve slices of cake & cupcakes.
They have a loyalty program where every 12 cupcakes you buy you get a free one. I refused to sign up for it because I need to pay for each one of these that’s how good they are.
My favorite is the black-​and-​white cupcake it usually features a hug kiss on top. The buttercream frosting on it is incredible.
All the cupcakes are pretty good. I found reasons to buy them almost every day. And you should too. I am going to rank Cami cakes as one of the top three cupcake shops in the nation. That’s how good it is.

2 out of 5 stars because cami cakes isn’t my favorite cupcake place, I prefer small cakes. I will only do cami cakes if someone is paying, sometimes even then i refuse. The prices are about the same as any cupcake house. I don’t like their icing and their cake at times can be flavorless. It’s like they rely solely on their icing to bring that bland cake to life. 4 out of 5 stars because the bathrooms are always clean, the cup cakes are pretty, the restaurant is tidy, and the service is usually friendly and informed. I’m giving 3 stars because my companion has gone in there to get cupcakes and I’ve been like meh, I will have piece of cake down the street. Worth checking out, it just boils down to your preferences and tastes. So they get a solid 3 stars from me.

This place hits the spot! My ex got me hooked when he brought them to a football watch party I was hosting! I’m not that big on cakes, but these are exceptional icing and all! Get you some!

I am so extremely happy about the product and service of Cami Cakes.
Their store is in Georgia and I live in California. My sister lives in Atlanta so I called them after reading some reviews on Unilocal and ordered one dozen assorted delicacies to be delivered on her birthday. The sales associate was very polite and very professional on the phone. She gave me clear and concise information and even helped me arrange for a courier to pick up the cupcakes and take them to my sisters house.
For the same price as having flowers delivered, I got a very special and unique present. My sister was so surprised and so elated to get these beautiful creations of art. She sent me a picture and told me that they were delicious and that she ate almost all of them at once ha ha.
I wonder if they can deliver to California? Lol if not I may have to go visit just for some of those cupcakes

EDIT: I was a bit heated when I wrote and since then I received a phone call that explained the situation. Just a heads up, if you order online, the date is the ship date and not the delivery date. I appreciate the personal touch of the customer service and I still stand by the fact their cupcakes are much better than any other chain cupcake store so I have changed the rating.
I will say as far as chain cupcake stores go, they taste great but I ordered online two weeks in advance for my sister’s birthday. I will admit I might have read it incorrectly but I was under the impression the date I input would be the date of arrival. Either way, today is the day and per my account nothing has shipped. Very disappointed and I would not recommend ordering from them.

Sweet Potato, Pineapple Toasted Coconut, CinnaSwirl, Banana Cream, Carrot and Chocolate Raspberry Almond Cream are my favorites.

Nope nope nope! I know the Stans aren’t going to like this but this cupcake spot is completely overrated.
Where do I begin? I have this ritual when it comes to eating cupcakes. I dump the cupcake upside down in a bowl (or plate if I’m out of bowls), unpeel the wrapper, and mix the bottom of the cupcake with the frosting so that my entire cupcake is smothered in goodness. Well, that ritual didn’t work with camicakes because the entire mass of my cupcake was a stale spoonful of chocolate I couldn’t even taste. Yup, no cupcake. I even looked around to see if I had dropped it or something but I never had a cupcake from a cupcake shop that only equated to a spoonful. A stale spoonful to add insult to injury :-(
Okay, so the first cupcake was a dud, let’s see how the second one I bought tastes. It was supposed to be a white chocolate cupcake with macadamia nuts. Reality: corn muffin with vanilla frosting. At least this cupcake had a true representation of what a cupcake mass is supposed to be (a lot more than a spoonful). It wasn’t stale but it lacked the moist flavor the cupcake is supposed to have. Bottom line, save your money. It’s not worth it.

I come from Miami, and we love ourselves some cupcakes and everything that has to do with them. I liked this place and the taste of the cupcakes. I didn’t think it was up to par with say Buttercream or Mishas in Miami, but it was damn good. The cake part was moist and I really like and appreciate that. At $ 3.00 a pop though, I thought that was a bit overpriced considering the priciest of places at South Beach don’t even charge that.
Think I’ll try some other places and see what I can find out there. It was good though, for a once in a while pricey little treat.

I wanted to celebrate a personal accomplishment and decide to celebrate with cupcake. Finding this place was easy… its in a small shopping center and finding a parking spot isnt bad. Since this was my first time being there, i ordered half a dozen. When i got home, the icing had slid off the cupcakes and was on the size. im not sure if it was the sun that did it but it took me 30 mins to get to my destination and the box was in my trunk. It could have also been my driving buttttt…
I expected this to happen again when i went to the other location but the icing was intact. I feel like the cakes at this location tasted a wee bit fresher than the Buckhead location? Why? idk *shrugs*
Anyway, im glad i discovered camicakes because they’ve won over a new client! As far as the cakes go, my fav is the camicake vanilla and red velvet. I didnt like the banana cream but its not camicakes, its me! The CC vanilla is regular vanilla cake with vanilla top which looks pink (not strawberry).
