Managers and supervisors are generally unable to recognize and offer solutions to employees’ personal problems. An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential counseling service, paid for by the employer, that is designed to help employees and family members who have personal problems that can interfere with their work and family life.

Cameron and Associates, Inc., founded in 1986 by William O. Cameron, is a vehicle to help troubled employees in the workplace. CAI’s initial product was an Employee Assistance Program, which makes it possible for companies to offer their employees and eligible dependents free and confidential short-​term counseling services for any personal and/​or workplace problems. This service provides a resource for employees and family members to resolve problems, so they can be more effective, productive, and have peace of mind. In 1992, Cameron and Associates developed a Managed Behavioral Health Care program as an additional resource to help companies manage and reduce the costs of personal problems for their employees.

Kristy S.

Manager

Kristy Satterfield joined Cameron and Associates, Inc. as the Director of Marketing and New Business Development for both CAI’s local and national accounts. With over 20 years experience in product sales, with an additional strong expertise in training, finance, public relations, and marketing. Prior to joining CAI, Kristy was a Real Estate agent and Educator for Century 21 Battlefield, where she led corporate business development, training and new client systems. She was involved in joint venture opportunities with companies such NFCU, NARFE, and Relocation companies. From 2007 through 2009, Kristy was the Director of Finance for Peoples Finance providing financial loans for both residential and commercial businesses. Additionally, provided financial educational workshops for the Virginia Housing Development Authority as a Train the trainer. Kristy Satterfield holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from St. Leo University.
