I have been living here since October of 2014 and have loved it — there have been minor things that I could say negative things about, but honestly, anywhere you live you could find something negative to write about. Saying something negative doesn’t rank very high on something I would like to say about living at Camden St Clair.
The office staff is really nice and always super helpful whenever my husband or I have needed anything (Sasha is my girl!) and we have a super nice maintenance man (Chris) who lives in our building who is always helpful with anything that we need. Service requests are taken care of in a timely fashion and we love the layout of our apartment. Having a fireplace in Atlanta when it is cold was a major bonus for us with choosing this apartment. Valet trash is great especially since we are on a higher floor. Elevators would be a really nice bonus if they had them, but I think taking the stairs daily has helped us stay in better shape.
There are a lot of families that live here so we don’t use the pool very often in the summer since it is normally pretty full — but again, we are glad to live in a complex with families in it — it has a safe feel to it. The property is well maintained and again, we have loved living here and would recommend it to our friends.

Apartment living is whatever you make it! Ive only had minor issues here such as air conditioning, never had anything burglarized, the apartments are nicely updated with modern finishes. Its located right off I-​85 and within walking distance to several restaurants.

I am a past residence of Camden St. Clair, and stayed there for nearly 2 years before leaving. I cannot start by saying how awesome the stay was. Here are a few reasons why:
1) The apartments themselves are modern. well kept, high ceilings and have a great layout. Perfect to live in. I was in their larger one bed, and the space was great for 2 people
2) The community is clean and well maintained, neighbors are nice, the office folks are very responsive and responsible
3) Location — well connected to everything, safe (they have a security patrol in the evening and night), close to the city, but not too close
4) THE SERVICE! — The best feature ever. You have a flush malfunction at 1 AM on a Sunday night, someone will come help you in 15 minutes. Now that is service. Absolutely unparalleled to any other agency!
All in all, thank you for a great experience.

I use to live at Camden property prior to working for the company .Once I decided to work for the company it only made sense to live where I work .The location of Camden St. Clair is ideal especially since I am new to Atlanta. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do in there area. Lenox mall is only about 10 minutes from the apartments as well as Atlantic station .The maintenance staff is beyond amazing and very quick to respond even when it’s an employees issue. Every where you live has its own little issue but as a single girl with no family living in Atlanta, I can truly say I feel and comfortable living at Camden St.Clair. I love my neighbors and always love to see them when we throw resident events which is often ! The community has taken a steps to improve security by changing pedestrian gates access to only be by resident with gate cards.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This property is not managed well and they have no idea how to do anything. It is unsafe due to them not taking complaints seriously.

The things going on here are despicable. To summarize the issues: all 4 tires taken off of multiple cars (the cars were literally sitting on cinderblocks), motorcycles just disappearing out of the parking garage (since they don’t bother to put cameras in there, even though so many people have been asking for years), multiple cars being broken into, a carjacking with 2 people held at gunpoint INSIDE THE GATES, 3 apartments broken into 3 days ago and then 12 yesterday. TWELVE. The gates are constantly breaking, so they’re wide open at 4am, and then it takes them weeks to fix them because they’re «waiting for the parts to come in». I had to pay for an alarm system since Camden doesn’t do anything about any of these problems. I also now have to carry a pocketknife since it’s not even safe to walk to my car. It’s literally safer to be living in the ghetto than here. DO NOT move in here. It might seem ok while getting a tour, but that’s only because they’re covering up what’s actually going on. Oh and a manager might respond and say «crime can occur everywhere» or «crime rate is going up in the area»; however, I talked to a police officer last night and she told me that the area is completely safe and crime free… except for Camden St. Clair.

Had a package stolen from my door step last week. I’m sure this will occur more frequently as residents have been informed the leasing office will no longer hold packages from them. I’ve had to start sending things to a friends house in Marietta. Such a headache. In addition, a couple vehicles had all 4 of their tires stolen. Makes me uncomfortable to think this was able to occur without anyone being caught. Leasing office staff, is so-​so. Not down right rude (most of the time), but never genuinely pleasant or helpful. Always rushing to finishing helping you so they can get back to their convos with fellow coworkers or to complete closing tasks instead of assist residents. I won’t be renewing my lease once it is up.

Do not live here! I have been here for 5 years and every year I stay because of the location, like 5mnt from my job, but this is def my last year, this company have trained their employees to take every Penni out of the residents and to charge fees even when u don’t get a notice for it covering under «it’s by law» and «under fair housing law», no personable relationships what’s or ever especially from the new assistant manager that barely smiles, I was charged an extra 500 $ because they changed their date from the 10th to the 7th for filing for an eviction or whatever, while my job cut my hours that same month and I was going to have my money ready by the 9th to pay for my rent plus the late fee, I didn’t receive any letter on the 4th and when I spoke to the assistant manager she said well other residents got it I don’t know why u didn’t, another incident where I made my money order on the 3rd and I had a car accident couldn’t make it there on time before the office closed, I went there next day and they charged me a late fee because I didn’t make it to the office on time. anyway save your time and your money there is a lot of apartments in the area newer and for the same money, this company are just plain thieves… I usually don’t post anything on Unilocal but I guess I couldn’t vent to anyone since anybody I talk to say the same thing over and over…

Lived here for 16 months. You really have to compare it to the other options in similar areas for the same price and keep that in mind. It *is* Atlanta, but I’m from the suburbs and I felt safe here. The staff quality varied, but no one too difficult. The pool and gym were generally well taken care of. Some residents had problems with other residents not following pet or valet trash rules, but I think management does an okay job of enforcing rules. Never had safety issues or burglary issues.

Awful awful awful experience with the leasing office and I left the apartment incredibly angry and offended.
We have a sweet and adorable American Staffordshire Terrier — the breed bears similarities in appearance to Pitbulls, but are much milder in temperament and very sweet. Knowing that many apartment complexes are cautious about renting to Pitbull owners, one of the first things I asked the representative about was the complex’s pet policy. He proceeded to say that there was no weight limit on dog breeds, but a few breed restrictions. I proceeded to let him know that I had we have an American Staffordshire Terrier and then a larger woman with curly hair (I wish I knew her name) left her customers in another room to barge into our room and interrupt that our dog was in fact a Pitbull. Huh?
Instead of politely saying that Staffordshire terriers are among one of their restricted breeds, this rude rude woman accused us of lying to them about the breed of our dog… Huh?
This lady was so incredibly rude and shooed us out quickly. Astounded by the quality of their «customer service» we left in a bit of a shock — oh and I kindly stopped to let a couple walking towards the office know that their leasing agent was terrible and rude and that they shouldn’t waste their time.
I think its fair to expect a certain amount of courtesy. I really don’t need you to be friendly, warm and fuzzy — but these people were straight up RUDE and put a sour taste in my mouth. Id sleep in a doghouse with my puppy before giving these jerks my business.

My husband and I moved here from Florida in search of the perfect «first apartment»
Camden seemed all great in the beginning, showing us the best they had to offer.
Whenever we moved in we started realizing a few problems here and there. first the dryers werent working, then a few pices of gym equip werent working, and the pool is overloaded most of the time.
Our neighbors upstairs are loud!!! They never sleep, always banging around and playing loud music!
The crime here is higher then i would like or have expected. One apartment right above us had their door kicked in, the neighbor across from us had his window broken, and several car robberies.
The people at the front desk are nice enough, they have helped us out with any questions, and they did give up credit when the dryer ate our money… however, they fail to tell you important details about your lease.
Take my advice and make sure you read the fine print before leasing.
