Camden Creekstone

I love our new home. It’s quiet, spacious, gated, and the staff is very nice. They make sure you’re well taken care of. They just cleaned our carpet and the contracted company did a fantastic job and nest thing is my apartment smells like lavender. Love it. Definitely check this place out!

I’ve lived here since August and I absolutely love it!!! Such a beautiful place, the location is central to everything, and once a month there’s always a an evening where they have free food in the leasing office for residents to get a free meal! The facilities are awesome, maintenance will come and fix your requests within 24hrs of filing whatever problem you have… I had a few bugs when I first moved in but that’s to be expected since I live on the ground floor but management went above and beyond to ensure that the problem was resolved quickly and efficiently and it was! Lots of great parking, very secure, lots of video surveillance around the property… very very highly recommend Camden Creekstone!

I visited over 10 properties before throwing in the towel. We came to Camden creekstone as our last option before deciding. We were ready to go back to another one that we didn’t really like but were just tired of searching. I must clarify that the search was for my very picky mom.
Upon entering at Camden Creekstone for some reason I felt we had found the one. Alejandra welcomed us with a warm and yet professional personality and made sure she matched us with what we were looking for.
They had the top floor, 2×2 close to highways phewww. Well, she assured us we were going to like the apartment they had available with our search criteria. Sure enough, upon entering the apt we loved loved it. Bright, fresh, clean and a nice layout. Did I mention washer, dryer and microwave included? Ceiling fans and lots of lighting. Both bathroom have garden tubs and the bedrooms and closets are spacious. Needless to say we went right back to the office without hesitation. The process at Camden is very smooth and hassle free. My mom is very pleased to say the least but I’m happier she gets to live in a nice apartment. Thanks, Alejandra for helping us making this process very smooth for us.

Pros:

3. Friendly staff
4. They keep track of the packages well
5. Covered parking available
Cons:
1. We spotted a few roaches in the house. I guess 4 – 5 in our last 6 months of stay here
2. We came to know about a security incident in the community. It did not affect us or anything. But something to keep in mind.

This place looks nice but it has unfortunately been downgraded by horrible management. It’s surprising that a corporate company like Camden would allow such a rude and uncaring person represent them as a property manager.
I have lived on Camden properties for 45 months… and I CAN’T WAIT to leave. You pay «luxury apartment» prices to be treated like you’re a problem or perhaps like you’re one of the rehab paitent they allow to live in the neighborhood for free.
In July a single woman had just moved in and was not informed about a string of break ins during the day and her home was burglarized by breaking her door knob when she was at work. When she got home she had to ask the property manager to call the police and she called the wrong jurisdiction and then left — 5 minutes later because her job was done. She wrote up her maintenance staff for staying and watching over her apartment while she had to pay to get her lock replaced.
In May our air conditioning stopped working… we first noticed it because when it would turn on it would leak rusty water into our shower. Over the course of the next 3.5 months, as we had less and less cool air I entered over 30 documented service requests. Not only were many of them immediately put in as finished, we were told we were being a bother because we were complaining about issues they knew about… by the beginning of August when it was over 80 degrees in the unit and they still couldn’t figure out what the issue was. They put in two window units in the apartment which did nothing but blow around hot air, leak water all over all of our bedrooms furniture and RUIN it and run up our energy bill to close to $ 300 for an uncooled one bedroom apartment. The management says «we should feel compensated» because they took off $ 150 off of our next months rent. They eventually determined that the issue was a broken unit over our shower which in their words: could have fallen on our heads at any time. At the end of the ordeal they had US schedule a time when we could have all animals and humans out of the apartment for 12 hours… so they could put new sealant over the mold that had grown in the shower. We came home to a sign saying we can’t use our shower for 48 hours. We had to shower at the pool… again management was aware but told us we should feel compensated because we were able to shower. Needless to say… our AC broke again a week and a half later, this time on the outside unit. The window units came back in our apartment… but no taking off money from rent this time — because remember I should feel compensated. It took another week and a half to have air again.
All corporate leases are filled with hidden fees… but be aware Camden leases require a mandatory $ 88 cleaning fee even though you are required to clean… and I will be charged for the damage THEIR equipment caused. I cannot wait to leave this place.

Okay, I know that I don’t live here, but my friend does.
I will tell you this, very secured place and beautiful apartment. I really love the layout of the rooms (how spacious they are) and the landscape outside. There is pool, a place for you to grill, and small gym.
The only thing I did not like is the visitor parking fills up pretty fast so my friend had to let me through the residence parking.
But overall, if you want to live in a safe and secured environment in the Dunwoody area, this is the place!

Staff is great and really cares about the community. They also do some GREAT resident functions with food, drinks and raffles where you can win some pretty cool things (in my case free carpet cleaning and the free painting of an accent wall)! I’ve lived at multiple Camden properties over the past 5 plus years for a reason and will continue to as well!
