I absolutely love this place. The staff is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. I have always had a good experiences here. If you’re looking for a men’s cut, you can’t go wrong with John. :) Minor side note: The one down side is that it’s a shared parking lot that can get full sometimes. Fortunately there is a bigger lot across the street at the Ansley Mall if needed.

John is as good as it gets. He does an outstanding job — listens to what you want, is careful and conscientious while working and is genuinely a great guy. Prices are reasonable and it’s easy to make an appointment.

Love this salon! Even though I have moved a considerable distance away, it is still worth the drive. It is easy to book an appointment on-line. And I always know I am in good hands with Bil. I look forward to every visit!

Great little salon! Nicky was awesome and did a great job, I’ll be back for sure! I loved that I could just walk-in but felt like a valued repeat guest right of the bat.

Moved to Atlanta a little less than a year ago and was agonizing over the fact that I would have to find a new salon. Bubbles is in my neighborhood, but I had honestly looked over it for months assuming that it was more of a men’s salon. Ended up giving it a try after a not so satisfying experience at Famous Hair. Absolutely loved my results and plan on making this my new spot! Bil is my guy and he is great! Listens to what you want, but isn’t afraid to make suggestions either… which I love. Prices are reasonable for the area, but not lacking in service!

I was getting my hair cut at another salon but my stylist was always so busy that I was hardly ever able to get in with an appointment. My boyfriend gets his haircut by Terry and my two friends go to him, today I figured I would give him a try. Not only did he fit me in at last minute notice but I’m in the military and we have strict standards for haircuts and I don’t do the buzz cut and I prefer scissors so he made sure he cut it close and shorter with a scissor cut. I do wish the saloon carried more products outside of Redken such as Kevin Murphy but I guess that’s just a Nashville thing and I’ll have to order from them when I need more product. The salon is very friendly and Terry is fun and easy to talk to. 5 stars for this salon. I’ll definitely be back.

Worst haircut. I need to go to work looking like a mushroom. chop, chop in clumps. It’s like he didn’t even care and just chopped away. Even if I get desperate for a haircut again, I’ll never go back.

I love me some Amanda! When I was on a quest for a new stylist – and desperate for a haircut(those things typically happen at the same time, right?) – I wanted to stay in the same neighborhood as my former stylist, but had no recommendations. From magazine ads I knew about Bubbles. I called, made an appointment… easy. They set me up with Amanda. On my first visit, we did NOT have a great start. That was my fault. I insulted her expertise by ‘insistently’ wanting to know if she knew how to cut ‘thinning’ hair. You can’t blame me for wanting a good cut and not knowing her level of expertise, but this story is a good one. That first cut was fantastic! And Amanda has become a friend. Our conversations – and she let’s the client initiate the conversation based on their energy level – are enthusiastic and sweet. She’s a positive soul, good-hearted, and someone I trust to do whatever she wants with my hair – and THAT is saying a LOT! Thanks, Amanda!

An excellent salon with truly professional stylist. Craig is mine. And, I won’t give him up. He listens; understands; cuts to perfection. Enough Said. NOTE: Limited parking. Definitely make an appointment. INTHEEND: Prices are very reasonable and inline with other salons in the Mid-town area.

I went here for the first time this weekend and had a great experience. The stylist took her time to talk to me and made sure she understood what I wanted before she started cutting. She was careful and focused and it turned out exactly as I wanted it. Great haircut for a great price. This will be my new salon!

I’ll admit that I’m not that interested in the care and keeping of my locks. Usually I’ll just decide one day that my hair has gotten too long, and it’s time for a cut. So I can appreciate that Bubbles took me on a same-day basis, after I’d been turned down by a few other salons. When I arrived, the place was seriously bustling. It appears they do more men’s cuts than women’s, or at least they have a larger male client base. For me that’s always red flag number 1 — are they going to know what do to do with long hair? I told my stylist that I only wanted an inch or so off… a little more than a trim. I like my long hair, it had just gotten a little too long and my layers needed some maintenance. By the end of the cut, 3 – 4 inches were gone. The cut took me from about low/mid-chest to an above-the shoulder cut, so for me it was more drastic than I wanted. I have had this length before so I wasn’t too upset… it’s just not what I asked for. There was a lot of chatting going on between stylists, with the inevitable drama(«She did WHAT?!»). I guess maybe I’ve just grown out of salons that find that to be acceptable behavior… when I’m getting my hair cut/colored/styled/whatever, I expect my head of hair to be the center of attention. And stylists without clients(or with clients that have color processing) shouldn’t be bothering my stylist. In other words, I felt there was a certain lack of professionalism, but I think it’s just the culture of the salon. Some people may like it, I didn’t. The cut was cheap, a mere $ 30(P.S. they don’t take AMEX), but I can’t get past receiving a style that was significantly shorter than what I requested. My next cut I’ll try somewhere else.

The former Crimpers Salon space in Ansley Mall 2(across the street from the gay Starbucks), now known as Bubbles Salon(horrible name, I know — but not to worry, no kids) has lost some of the campy gay hair salon fun that you always had in Crimpers. It’s a more quiet, serious salon now — but guys, Andy gives the best hair cuts in the ATL — but try to get an appt. mid week, he’s always booked solid on weekends. A good sign of high repeat clients and after one cut, you’ll be one too.

Terry gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had, and at 35, that’s saying something. I have long, wavy hair, and I hate to do anything to it. Terry cut my hair in long layers, and the curls just sprang right up. Weeks later, I’m still really happy with the cut. I got an appointment easily on the same day, and didn’t have to wait once I got there. The salon was clean, and seemed to be very professionally run. I’m definitely referring others to the salon!

I come here once a month to style my hair. I love the way she washes my hair. First, she gives an incredible head massage and second, she washes my hair thoroughly. She also styles my hair exactly how I want and she listens to my needs and wants. I have gone to other places, and at the end I still go back to Amanda. It is a neighborhood type of salon. The employees are laid back and I can see what one of the reviewers means about them being very nonchalant. I have also had to wait 20 min for my stylist when I had an appointment, but it was a Saturday morning and I was not in a rush. One the other hand, I have walked in at 1pm and was sitting in a chair within 5 min. So like I said, its a neighborhood spot.

Great prices, great atmosphere, friendly stylists. Heather gives a fantastic women’s cut and I’ve referred numerous friends to her.
