We have been covering the good news and previewing events in Smyrna, Vinings for the past five years and began a sister publication covering South Cobb (greater Smyrna, Mableton and Austell in 2006).

The Lipsetts have several decades of newspaper, public relations and community involvement experience in Georgia. They owned award wining newspapers in south Georgia and north metro Atlanta prior to beginning The Bright Side in Smyrna in 2005.
