Customers should have atleast 2 inches of hair if your texture is kinky and ~ 3 – 5 inches if you are permed, straight or wavy. The afro kinky human hair comes bulk packaged in a plethora of different mixes & colors. One can request several of these colors to add highlights or blend varying hair color. I can add afro kinky human hair to already existing locs to make them appear thicker or longer or both. You can start from a perm & get bornu locs. You can keep them in as a transitional style until your own hair starts to grow out.

I’m Bornu, a natural hairlocking aficionado. Growing up, I got my influence from off of walking around Flatbush Ave & the Park Slope area in Bklyn, visiting salons known for their masterful works in dreadlocks, braids & custom weaves. When I got down south, I started my own business, turning an old apartment home in Stone Mountain, GA into a studio. For the next ten years I honed my craft. It took awhile to find my niche but when I did I brand marketed myself & Bornu Locs was created, my own signature styled — designer dreads. The style has become very popular over time with clients coming in from as far as Africa, Europe & the Middle East. I am extremely appreciative of the success & support of my business. My sincere ambition is to create a venue for upcoming natural hair talent as to give them a stage to show off their gifts. I study as well as embrace all religious style faiths. My ammunition comes from within. It makes me smile when the opportunity avails itself to make new friends, entertain family & travel. I don’t like being bored, politics or the news. 1 word to describe me? «Interesting». I’m always instinctively creating something with hands w/​a strong refurbishing tendency towards folk in poor health, clothes or furniture. Although I epitomize well-​being, on occasion I succumb to a few vices of my own. I graduated from the Mom school. Love guided by math, chores & essays. T’was from there that I went on from being an impressionable youth into a confident, articulate individual. I think a good education is a great start if you want to become productive in the Matrix of Life. I come from a huge family. We are a variety of sorts. I love being in positive company & giving back in some way that helps people feel better about themselves. I listen to reggae & am currently practicing the Djembe.
