We are a small company, but large on design. We import vintage and antique furniture from Sweden — but do all manufacturing of our new upholstery collection here in the United States. We manufacture custom upholstery, custom furniture lines, provide reupholstery, and furniture restoration services.

Just as Sweden has promoted sustainability for over a hundred years, we hope to promote the same sensibility here in the US with our furniture and processes.

We are constantly on the quest– and will continue to apply the answers to the creation of our own furniture.

History

Established in 2001.

Bjork Antikt & Studio is the brainchild of Amy and Tomas Wikman. Originally started as a venue to import unique antiques and vintage furniture from Tomas’ native Sweden for Amy’s interior design clients, this unique home furnishings company has grown by leaps and bounds over the last few years. Bjork Antikt & Studio now manufactures custom upholstery and furniture lines and provides reupholstery and furniture restoration services to primarily the Interior Design Trade — and select private customers. Bjork Antikt & Studio also has a newly designed eco-​friendly upholstery line — Bjork Upholstery Collection.
