Bento Bus

Was a bit hesitant when this food truck appeared on our schedule at my office due to the gray dingy user photos of the food on this Unilocal page, but I still gave it a chance. SO very glad I did. Wonderfully presented, and my favorite truck so far. (and thats saying something since I am a Yumbii loyalist). The secret sauce was incredible. Slightly creamy miso-​wasabi sauce? (I’m just guessing on those ingredients), but it was very good. I hope they return to my office regularly! Next time I’ll take a better picture.

Went to the Atlanta food truck park today with my kids and Bento Bus was a choice. We all got 3 teriyaki rice bowls and what a nice filling bowl they were! Rice, lettuce, seaweed shreds, some Japanese soybeans and sweet teriyaki chicken. Great choice and we’ll be back to try other menu items.

I bought chicken rice and it was pretty good. The service was fast as well. I will try other dishes next time.

Bento Bus’s «surrito» is one of the most unique and tasty entrees that I have ever bought from a food truck. In the spirit of combining a burrito and a sushi roll (although without the fish), this is cheap Asian fusion at its best. The outer layer is much thinner than a traditional tortilla and is sprinkled with sesame seeds, similar to a sushi roll. On the inside, you get to choose different proteins. I usually order the teriyaki chicken version. The meat is well cooked and the remainder of the filling, which includes rice, fresh avocado, seaweed, and mini fried onions, tastes fantastic. It truly is the perfect blend of Japanese and Mexican street food. I highly recommend giving this food truck a try if it happens to be in your neighborhood.

I ordered the tofu Surrito and it was 95% rice. No tofu to be found.

One of The Best Food Trucks in town. Great tasting, healthy inexpensive food. Surritos are awesome. Nachos: i could eat a pound with that sauce. SO GOOD. Inexpensive and the people who work there have great smiles to make your day. I couldn’t make it there today but i had my brother pick me up a Surrito. Hit the spot!

Can’t say enough good things about this truck. I had the steak tacos and have to say that they rank as one of the most amazing tacos I’ve ever had. Being a bit of a taco fanatic and traditionalist, I wasn’t sure about an Asian style taco. Man, did they prove me wrong! I had to go back for a 2^nd order, can’t wait to catch up with Bento Bus again soon.

Easily my favorite food truck in Atlanta. Better yet, I don’t even have to feel guilty about lunch when I snag something from them.
The rice bowl with beef is definitely my favorite, but everything on the menu is good so you can’t go wrong. They have good vegetarian options as well for those who are going meatless. Not to mention the folks who run the ‘Bus are super sweet!

The beef rice bowl is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! I was leery to try it (the idea of a food truck is weird to me) but I’m so glad I did! Not sure what’s in the special sauce but it is addictive! Can’t wait to go back!

I had my first «food truck» experience when I ordered from the Bento Bus near work. I ordered the Tofu Surrito and I have to say that it was probably one of the best things I have eaten in my life! I can’t wait for them to come back!

The Bento Bus visited Coca-​Cola for lunch and I must say I can’t wait for their return. I’m having the chicken bowl with fresh edamame, green onion, shredded seaweed, seasoned lettuce, tempura crunch and their special sauce. The sauce is amazing as well as their prices. A must try!

Hands down my new favorite food truck! The surrito is like a giant sushi roll, with chicken, rice, edamame, cucumber, avocado, and a special sauce with a tiny kick of wasabi wrapped in a soy sesame seed shell. It was do good I ate 2 and even ordered another to take home to my husband who loved it just as much!

I visited the Bento Bus at the Atlanta Food Truck Park Saturday afternoon, 4÷5÷14. I was attracted to the Surrito (Sushi fixings in a burrito), but I wanted to be able to eat it all in a bowl. The friendly staff said, «Well you could actually get our Rice bowl instead of the Surrito. It has everything the Surrito has except for the cucumber and avocado, and I can put the cucumber and avocado in your bowl for you.» Awesome service!
The food was super tasty. Next time I’ll ask for a little less of the special sauce or see if I can get it on the side. The sauce is delicious, but I’d just like to have less. The dish as a whole was fresh and refreshing. Such a great find! I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Being stuck in traffic has its benefits. As I was sitting in traffic near the food truck park, I saw a truck I’d never seen before. I mentioned it to the Boy and he suggested we try it. We like Japanese and new food trucks. Why not?
They offer something called a surrito (sushi & a burrito). I had the chicken version, he had the steak. OH MY GOD WHY HAS NO ONE EVER THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE?! Absolute genius. The tortilla was a thicker version of sushi wrapper. It was stuffed with rice, seaweed shreds, avocado, crunchy bits, [meat of choice] & a special sauce. It had a bit of a kick to it, so I’m sure there was some wasabi in there. We scarfed them down in about 10 seconds. One meal and it’s already jumped its way into a tie with WOW for my favorite food truck. I only hope when other people discover the holy grail of sushi in a burrito, they won’t leave me. *looks at Tex’s Tacos*
Seriously, get up and go now. It’s absolutely worth it.
