Development and cultivation of artists and their communities is essential to perpetuating works of talent. These acts are a direct result of the connoisseurs who support the arts. Therefore, it is our mission to represent established and impending artists to the public and design profession. Everyone who possesses an affinity for art should be exposed to it, and educated on collecting. A work of art can speak to an individual in many ways, and acquiring it should not be intimidating. If you have a passion for art, our goal is to make it attainable.

History

Established in 2010.

A September 2009 visit to Provincetown, Massachusetts inspired Austin Hill to follow his passion for great art and open a gallery in his native state. Austin Hill Art opened its doors February 2010.

Meet the Business Owner

Austin H.

Business Owner

Austin Hill is a native of Savannah, Georgia.

Austin was surrounded with art and artists at an early age, as his parents are avid collectors and patrons. He frequented the Telfair Museum of Art and was intrigued by the arts and architecture of the south.

Austin discovered that these explorations were truly a passion when he visited the British Museum of Art for the first time in 1994. After his tour of Great Britain, he made it a point to study art whenever possible, including his travels and during his tenure at The Savannah Country Day School and Stetson University.
