I have moved around the US a lot due to job changes, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best practices that I have ever encountered. The staff is professional, friendly and extremely attentive. Drs. Lee and Schmidt are exemplary and their support staff are amazing. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for my dental care.

I called in to set an appointment, the receptionist Natalie was extremely informative but seemed to get upset when I was asking about insurance information, and hung up the phone on me! I called back because I was upset and not done talking and she apologized in an extremely sarcastic tone. Based off her initial attitude I won’t be going there.

Horrible experience with Atlantic Dental Center.
Visited the place to have two wisdom teeth extracted. Send them my insurance to review prior to the visit. The decoration inside was nice and conveniently located on the North Ave.
It took Dr. Benk himself only 10 mins to have the teeth removed. Very simple operations, no surgery necessary. After being charged for a crazy price ~$ 1000, I was immediately told that my insurance was rejected and I had to pay everything myself.
My teeth were bleeding terribly in the night of the extraction. Called Dr. Benk next morning (a work day) and was told that he will call me back soon. However, never received a call from him or anyone else in Atlantic Dental Center and my teeth were bleeding over the entire weekend.
I will suggest never go the this place. They will charge you crazy price and piss you off as soon as they got the money.

Dr. Schmdt and team are wonderful. I love that they can create a crown in one day only using new technology whereby they 3-​d your crown on a computer. High quality work!

Since moving here and trying out a Dentist in Lawrenceville and that dental job being a scandal, I was leery about coming here. I cracked my incisor and needed it fixed ASAP — I really considered flying back to Houston. I had called Spectrum, they know my teeth — braces, crown, whitening and all, and was going to plan it ahead to fly in and just get it done there. So, that first day they took xrays and checked my teeth, picked a color to match and handed me info to set an appointment with the technician if I wanted. I went out on a limb, a $ 1K+ limb, paid for everything that day and just had to cross every finger and toe that I would be pleased with this new dentist. Keisha, her assistant made me feel comfortable and reassured me that it would match, the appt with the tech in his lab was so I could pick and tweak whatever to make SURE it matched — even though we’d already picked the color in office. Dr Choy was perfect, she made a temp in about 30mins and I came back two weeks later for the permanent fix. It was seamless and perfect, they were lovely to talk to and hang out with while they worked on my mouth. I can’t wait to go back — yeah, that sounded perfectly normal.

They make you feel welcome as you walk in the door. You get to meet the doctor on the first visit as opposed to after the hygienist cleans your teeth. They shoot tons of photos of your teeth to make sure you are able to see what is going on in there. I’m sure the photos are for them to, but it sure did make me feel a lot more comfortable when they brought them up on the cool screens next to me.
When you go for your first visit, that will be consultation and xrays. 2^nd visit is cleaning. It sounds like a lot if you are a new patient, but it really is nice to meet everyone and get a feel for the place. I had a crown on my back tooth that I was really having a hard time using, Dr. Schmidt took care of it right away by checking my bight to make sure it was aligned properly. It was like I could finally use that tooth again.
Anyway, I am happy with this dentist office and can now call them my dentist office. I love when you don’t have to search around for a dentist. I got this one first try and am very pleased.

I’m price sensitive so most of my comments relate to financial topics.
First, over the phone I was given an estimate of $ 200+ for a wisdom tooth removal ($ 200 being a simplest removal). If I understood correctly, the removal of my wisdom tooth will be as simple as it can be for such operation, and yet, after assessment, I was quoted for $ 301.
Second, over the phone, I asked about discount if I pay in cash. The lady said the practice gives %10 discount if paid in cash. When I arrived I was told that the discount is only %5.
Third, I’ll end up paying $ 335 ($ 50 for assessment and $ 301×0.95 for extraction). Last time, about a year ago, I did extraction of another wisdom tooth at Atlanta Emergency Dental Center. The total cost was $ 75 for a comparable assessment with X-​Ray and $ 200 for extraction. The service was very professional, they work late hours, and they are cheaper. Next time I’ll go back to them.
