AT&T

On Dec 21 my sales rep, Joseph, was a total Butt Head to me, the customer. He was preoccupied from the very beginning and all through our session. We was more interested in helping other sales reps and what was going on in the store than he was working with me. I asked him twice if he would show me some of the basic procedures on my new i-​phone if I purchased one and he said he would. However, as soon as I signed the agreement he told me I could go across the street to the Apple store if I had any questions.
He also downloaded my telephone contacts incorrectly.
This is not from D Whitehead, I just used his computer.

IN my Opinion, only those who do not care how much their service will cost or how bad the service will be should go to ATT. When the agent told me «I can give you a tablet for $ 10 and you would only have to pay for data usage (wifi would be free)» I thought I don’t want a tablet, but for $ 10 how could I go wrong? When I get my bill, it is now $ 10 a month for 24 months. I go to cancel and sure, I would only have to pay the Cancellation fee… or in essence the total of the contract immediately. WELL, ATT, I have this to say, I will never be a ATT customer again. I finish my contract. and ATT… KMA!!!

Literally the worst service experience I have ever had in a retail setting by EBONY. I tried to update my iphone from a 5s to a 6s at the Apple Store, and was told that you can only upgrade using the NEXT program, not a 2 year plan, in stores. Of course, even after being an AT&T customer for 10+ years, this was news to me, as AT&T hadn’t informed me of this new policy. I had called both the AT&T store and the Apple Store, and was told I would be able to upgrade to another 2 year plan in stores. Anyway, I went to this AT&T store to inquire further about upgrade policies and unfortunately approached Ebony for help. She was rude, unhelpful, and would not explain to me why I could no longer upgrade in store or why I was never informed of this new policy. Her reasoning was that T-​Mobile, Verizon and all companies were moving toward no-​contract deals. I then responded to her and was cut off, and she said «Have a nice day» while I was speaking to her. So rude. Do not recommend this store for customer service or specifically Ebony. She is a horrendous service provider.

FRAUD! I had been getting data overage alerts & my tablet was no longer connecting to the At&t network, only working on wifi. Checked my account & the data was all coming from the line associated with my tablet — how could this be when my tablet hasn’t been working to connect to at&t? Called At&t and after about 2 hours on the phone, we discovered that someone had hijacked my account, reassigned my number to a new sim card & device, and was running up tons of data usage! This was all done by someone at this store, that I have NEVER BEEN TO! An associate at the store had changed my account with inaccurate ID information! A second associate entered another inquiry into my account just a week later! This store is perpetrating a crime allowing people to steal accounts of others! At&t has worked this out for me & is refunding the data overage charges — but, check your bills folks! Who knows if you will be their next victim!

This review, unfortunately I do not remember the agents name, but is because of the lack of training this location has. Also no type of discretion when it comes to personal conversation amongst the employees.
I went in to add a line to my family share plan. Was greeted as normal and asked what type of phone I was interested in. After informing them that I was torn between the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6+. She let me know that choosing an iPhone would give me a tablet for 99cents. I politely declined the tablet and went with the plus.
We sit down to go over the paper work and she goes over the basics, insurance, accessories etc. proceed to sign, pay and leave. Not until I get home do I realize she gave me the tablet. I’m thinking, hey it was only 99cents right. Well a month later I go to pay my bill and it is double what my bill is normally. I then realize that the tablet is a whole separate line that is activated.
I contact them to tell them that I did not want it and I’m told that I can pay $ 146 to cancel but if not then it will be $ 10 a month for two years. Smh so because the rep chose to leave out this information and just automatically sign me up with a tablet I’m stuck paying $ 240 thank you att smh.
If you choose this location PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure to ask for full details!!!

This review is only to Jenna, salesperson. She is very knowledgeable and know how to treat her customer. I went there to get a GoPhone as my iphone was not working.
She helped in me all through the process like switching my service from postpaid to prepaid, changing the plan, activating the phone and explaining the return policy.
Wish her very best. Great future stores for this young lady. Highly recommend her.

HOROBLE. Expensive. Not worth it. I hate it. Service sux. No one ever can frikin speak English. People there probably never graduate from middle school.

Please do not talk to the agent named Reginald Shaw! He will get you to sign up for a plan and will not tell you everything you need to know… he is only concerned about sales!!! The worst agent i have ever dealt with at AT&T!!!

This review is specifically for the wonderful sales associate Chrissy who has helped me several times both for my business lines and personal. Very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Chrissy if you want to be treated like a customer should be treated.

My wife and I came in to buy the new iPhone last week, and received great customer service. We wanted to trade in her iPhone 4 under the promotion for $ 200, so we were told to bring the phone in next week after the iPhone 6 had arrived in the mail, and we would receive payment. When we came in to turn in the old phone, there was some confusion since the promotional period had ended, but the team there worked hard to confirm our story and work around the issue. We walked out with $ 200 in hand, as promised. Great experience.

THE WORST customer service I’ve ever received. I wouldn’t even call it service. I came in to have them change how I was billed for a new phone and they took over an hour and then told me to come back to next day because the department they needed to reach was closed.
The employee went back and forth from the back to the front where the manager was to keep asking what to do.
Upon leaving, I realized the messed up my iMessage on my iPhone and nothing was going through anymore. My phone showed 4G and not LTE. I walked into the store real quick to ask what they had done and they proceeded to tell me that there were TOO MANY PEOPLE on the network. I though AT&T was supposed to be the largest 4G LTE network. I was 5 miles from downtown and the employee tried to convince me that it would fix itself. I left in disbelief. When I got home, I found that they screwed up my account and somehow blocked all data coming to my iPhone.
I had to talk to customer service and troubleshoot for ANOTHER hour to get my phone working normally again.
Worst experience ever. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS.
Side Note: I overheard an employee trying to deceive a customer trying to trade in her iPhone as part of the promotional offer. They low balled her for her iPhone and then lied about when the promotion ends to try to get her to trade her phone in on the spot instead of trying to get it fixed.

After experiencing the absolute worst customer service on the phone and at the Atlantic Station location, I was impressed how Marcus took care of most of my issues. I dealt with at least 15 – 20 AT&T employees on the phone and they could not have cared less but the Lenox location stopped me from leaving after 12 years with the carrier.

This is some of the worst service I have ever received.
First, I reserved an appointment online to minimize wait time, however upon arriving at the store, I was put at the back of the queue.
Next, when I was finally helped, I was assigned a salesman who knew absolutely nothing about AT&T’s service packages and phones.
Lastly, a different salesperson deactivated the wrong cell number on my account, leaving my account functionless for 3 hours.
If you need help with your AT&T account, I would highly suggest doing it online or at a different store.

WORST SERVICE EVER! WASTE OF TIME! KHOA AND PHILIP «SERVED» us — both TERRIBLE!
First, we wanted to do a transfer of billing responsibility. They tell us we couldn’t because of different area codes. Even the manager confirmed. We called customer service and WE COULD! First waste of time at the store.
Second, this rep Khao tells us when we purchased phones — «within 14 days you can come if you have any problem with the phone».
Third, well we had a problem with the iphone — and we returned as we were advised. They straight away ask us to go to the apple store. Couldn’t they have told us this when we spent $ 450 dollars at their store? Finally we called up customer satisfaction AGAIN and asked them to schedule a return and refund for us.
Disregard for customer satisfaction from the WHOLE STORE.

Absolutely terrible customer service here. Came in here for a technical matter on my phone that is part of an account with thousands of devices on it, and got various hemming and hawing excuses until turning around and walking out.
Make the drive to the AT&T store in Atlantic Station — they’ll take much better care of you down there.

Sub-​par customer service. I pre-​ordered an IPhone through this store and was notified several days later that my order had been canceled due to he fact that they couldn’t ship to my PO box. I addressed the PO Box issue twice while pre– ordering and was assured it wasn’t a problem. When I returned to the store to address this, they claimed they weren’t aware that they couldn’t ship to a PO box when I pre-​ordered and that my options were to wait in line or reorder with a substantial delay. I contacted another store and they were more than happy to reserve a phone for me after paying a deposit and guaranteed me that my phone would be available whenever I wished to pick it up. This is the second negative experience I’ve had at this store.

I used this store to get my iPhone 3G back in the day. We all know what a royal goat rodeo that was. I decided after several visits to the Apple store in Lenox Place Mall, having been completely intimidated by the massive, slow moving lines, weeks after the original release of the device, that I’d just order my upgrade online and then pick it up at the AT&T store when it arrived. Even then when they got it and called me to come in and pick it up, I had to wait two hours to get someone to help me activate the damn thing. That whole Apple/AT&T combo thing wins the Biggest PITA (pain in the ass) award for the 21^st Century.
That said, at any other normal time, this is a nice store. I first learned about AT&T’s Uverse service here, so when a sales guy came knocking on my door a few months later when they’d wired my ‘hood for the service, I was happy to sign up. It’s expensive, but I LOVE it. Their DVR kicks ass compared to Comcast’s device and I think you get decent bang for the buck.

AT&T came through for me thanks to a customer of ours who works for AT&T. The entire ETF was waived and email sent to me to notate that my account balance is zeroed out. I’ve decided to update my review as I felt that if I would penalyze them due to one or two crappy employees (esp in small business department), I’d might as well praise them for an excellent employee as well. Let that be a lesson/​reminder to all of us. 1 person can make a difference.
Kudos guys. Because of your excellent employee who took care of me (whom for anonymity purposes, let’s just call Kenny) I’ve decided to stay with AT&T wireless, and other 2 accounts we have with you.
I’m again, an «A-​Ok» fan.
