Dr. Kliossis was personable, well priced, honest and very easy to work with.

My wife began using Dr. K’s original officemate in the early ‘70s and I followed her. When Dr. Wertz retired, I switched over to Dr. K and like him even better. If you’re uneasy with the assembly-line dentistry practiced elsewhere, here’s where you can find the sort of old fashioned, friendly, personal care and competence that used to be the norm in medicine and dentistry, but which sadly is quite rare today. For a time, the dental insurance we had wouldn’t pay Dr. K, so while the rest of the family used other dentists, I stayed with Dr. K even though that meant paying out of pocket. If Unilocal would let me, I’d rate Dr. Kliossis and his small staff at six stars…

My spouse has been going to Dr. Kliossis for over 30 years. When I found myself in need of a new dentist(after going to the same one for over 25 years myself) Dr. Kliossis was an easy pick. He offers an alternative method to «buff» your teeth during a cleaning(I don’t know what the procedure is actually called) that I MUCH prefer to the loud machine that rubs really fast on your teeth. It’s much more comfortable and painless. The office is always great about rescheduling when needed and they always call to remind me of my appointment. I’ve never had any major tooth work done with Dr. K so I can’t speak to that but he’s been great for the past four years for my bi-annual cleaning. I actually used to drive an hour to get to his office; even now I drive 30 minutes, past dozens of other dentists, to get to his office.

I actually found Dr. Kliossis on the recommendation of a co-worker. After having 2 root canals I was looking for a dentist for my 2nd and final crown. I think at that point my nerves were a little shot and just overall wasn’t too comfortable with more work being done. What I love though is that Dr. Kliossis matched the crowns well in color, placed them correctly — the whole 9. Anytime I have to reschedule they’re always very flexible, and on occassion I’ve even delayed or split payments — again no problem. I *make* the trip to this dentist from the southside of the city because he is *that* good. Excellent dentist, you couldn’t get me out of his chair with a vat of polygrip.

Look No Further. There is an HONEST dentist in ATL. I have to say that my last dentist made me very weary of ever going back. Every visit he would wave a long list of items that needed work in my face. And all the while giving me that speech in the sincerest voice he could muster that if I didn’t get em done my teeth would all fall out of my head or something to that effect. After a while with that dentist, I got the feeling that I was just there as a mortgage payment on his lake house. Anyway, this week, part of one of my teeth did fall out while crunching down on a Cheeto. I needed to find a dentist ASAP. I was convinced(by my last dentist) that I needed a crown. Well, a friend recommended Dr. Kliossis to me and I quickly gave him a call. He worked me into his schedule that day to look at my tooth which by the way was pretty much wrecked. I came in and told him that I needed a crown. I was sure of it. Well, he took a look at my tooth, did an x-ray and said I may be able to get away with a filling.. I could hardly believe it. I was practically jumping for joy. Two days later he worked me into his schedule again and I am the happy recipient of a new filling for a mere $ 187 as opposed to the $ 1200 for a crown. This guy is not only honest, he’s very nice, easy to talk to and he works quickly with minimal pain. I was in and out of there with my new filling in about an hour. Now, if your looking for a fancy dentist that will lavish you with laughing gas and give you an ear phones to listen to — this ain’t the guy. He’s a straight up dentist there to do you a service and not rip you off. If you need the headphones for a dentist bring them your own, but you will surely walk out of there with some $ left in your wallet.
