alpha m. Image Consulting (www.alphamimageconsulting.com) was launched back in 2005 due to a lack of resources and options for real world help and advice regarding image, style and grooming for men. alpha m’s goal is to help men look and feel the best that they can … every day of their life.

History

Established in 2005.

alpha m was established in 2005, specializing in real world guidance for men centered around image, style, fashion, and grooming. Not only does the company provide male makeovers and other image consulting services, but the company provides certification workshops to train others to be image consultants.

Male Style Guide was formed shortly thereafter, giving men advice, commentary, and products on all things image– namely virtual services for those not in the Atlanta area or don’t have a means to get to Atlanta. Aaron Marino penned the book, «The Guy’s Guide to Image, Style, & Impeccable Grooming» which is also for sale on the Male Style Guide site.

The popularity for the virtual services has sky-rockted as well as the YouTube videos are wildly popular.

My interest in fashion and style was alive and kicking as far back as I can remember. My moment of actualization happened at the tender age of 6. One day while shopping with my mother, we stumbled across the underwear you may remember called «Underoos“with a specific superhero donning the package. These were like a fashion gift from the Gods in my little 6-year old mind. Like any other kid, I begged and pleaded with my mother until she broke down and bought me a few pairs. The only problem was that unlike most other little kids, I could not bear the thought of hiding these beauties under my pants. So I decided to take it upon myself to wear them over top of my pants. My mother being a hippie and not wanting to stifle my creativity allowed the fashion statement around the house and even occasionally out in public. She did draw the line as far as school was concerned. I did eventually out grow this style but my passion for fashion has continued and thankfully matured.
