We are pleased that you have chosen our office for your dental care. Our professional staff is dedicated to making your visits pleasant. We will give you a thorough examination of your teeth and gums, and a complete oral cancer check-​up on your first visit. Any necessary x-​rays will be taken at this time to supplement the visual exam in order to detect dental disease. The doctor will then discuss a plan for treatment with you. Albert Baawo Jr., DMD PC first opened on July 15, 2006 to provide quality care around the clock. The office is equipped with some of the latest technology for the patient to enjoy during their service. The focus of each day is to make our patients feel compelled to tell others about the wonderful service they received during their visit. There are incentives given to patients with the goal of building a lasting relationship for years to come. Dr. Baawo and his staff are on-​call after hours. His goal is to provide access to quality dental care after hours for emergencies with the goal of serving all of the hospitals in Atlanta. The patient would have to call for further details on scheduling these appointments. We accept walk-​ins. Our office is registered with many insurance companies. We also participate in different financing options including Care Credit, Chase Healthcare, and Capital One. Patients have the choice to pay with AMEX, VISA, Mastercard, personal checks or cash.

Dr. Baawo attended Duke University on a full academic scholarship, he graduated Spring of 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. He continued his education at the Medical College of Georgia where he received his DMD in 2003. Immediately after finishing, Dr. Baawo started his internship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia from July 2003– July 2004 in the Oral& Maxillofacial Surgery Department.

Dr. Baawo believes in giving back to community and helping for the greater common cause. He has been Vice President of The North Georgia Dental Society for the past two years. He attends Big Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church and serves as Scoutmaster of Troop 997. He is a registered member of the National Dental Society (NDA), American Dental Association (ADA), Georgia Dental Society, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and the National Eagle Scout Association.
