The staff is knowledgeable and they tend to have things in stock but the best part of this place is there’s usually a guy or two outside that’s available to help you in your DIY endeavor. They’re not aggressive or pushy and only step in to offer help when you’re clearly in need of some coaching (or rescuing.) ‘Rates’ aren’t usually stated, it’s more of a honor system where you acknowledge their time, tools and expertise and pay accordingly. If you’re like me, you’ll go in the store to buy your parts then come back out and announce your presence. I have no shame. Just ten minutes and a $ 20 tip had my AC ready for the summer heat.
