Description

Specialties

Breakfast, Coffee, Desserts, Fresh Homemade Ice Cream,

and Chocolate Truffles

A hazy morning warms with delicious cup of «Café de Olla» coffee… an afternoon siesta enlivens with «Café Azteca», made from Mexican coffee beans accented with touches of Oaxacan chocolate and chili de arbol. Accompany any of the wonderful drinks with some handcrafted Artisan Chocolates, or a selection from the delightful array of freshly baked desserts.

Our coffee beans are hand picked and roasted to a toasty perfection by the fifth generation of coffee growers in the Altos de Jalisco region of Mexico. On his 300 year old plantation, Don Rafael raises 25,000 coffee trees — organically. He uses chili, onion, and garlic to protect the growing fruit from passing predators and the groves are fertilized with the shed fruit of the coffee beans. We bring our specially roasted blend directly to you with the hopes that you too will love the rich delicious history of our ADios Café!

History

Established in 2009.

ADios Café was established to address the needs of our neighbors in Castleberry Hill and existing restaurant (No Mas! Cantina) customers who wanted dessert and coffee after their meal.

We now offer Breakfast 7 Days a week, starting at 8am, fantastic flavors like Mexican Eggs Benedict, with Applewood bacon, on our homemade masa cake; Blue Corn Hotcakes with Passion Fruit Butter & Piloncillo Syrup; and even a Torta to Go with your choice of fillings — swing by and try us.

Our love for Mexico led to this coffee grower in the Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco area where we started a relationship with Don Rafael. Our rich & delicious coffee is served as Espressos, Cappuccino, and Mexican Specialties like Café de Olla, Mayan Mocha, and Atole.

Meet the Business Owner

Walt B.

Business Owner

Our visits to Mexico started in 1995 when we started No Mas! Productions — a custom furnishings and décor business for the architectural and design trade. When we moved our operations to Castleberry Hill in 1998, the neighborhood was in need of great food establishments. Hence, we opened No Mas Cantina with an ambitious 350 seats. ADios Café is the answer to a great breakfast in downtown Atlanta. We specialize in Mexican coffee, and bring the beans directly from the hillside orchards of Jalisco. In this tropical atmosphere coffee shop, we offer our own specially made desserts, chocolates, and now breakfast. Our mission is simply to bring you the «Best of Mexico».
