History

Established in 2010.

2 Step Divorces spun out of a general mediation firm to focus exclusively on divorce mediation and education relating to divorce. Today, 2 Step Divorces has three locations: Downtown Atlanta, North Atlanta (Cobb), and Fayetteville. Its mediators and instructors are attorneys who have experience keeping couples focused on solutions, preparing for common pitfalls, and minimizing the risk of squandered money, time, and relationships with the children. 2 Step Divorces works with parties who have attorneys, have limited representation (bundled) with an attorney, and no attorney officially retained.

Our mediators always invite parties to have their agreements reviewed by professionals before they go into effect — whether a child development specialist, a financial professional or a lawyers. As such, families can customize how they will separate and divorce in a confidential setting that keeps them in control over the process.

Jennifer Keaton is an attorney and registered divorce mediator with the State of Georgia. She has helped hundreds of families navigate the divorce process and set up agreements that will work for everyone, particularly the children.
