History

Established in 1999.

It all started at 497 Prince Ave.& after 11 yrs we moved on. See us now at 760 N. Chase St.

Our spa expansion was built around the foundation of our Hair Studio and now our new location lends itself to all the comforts of home. Our salon is located on the main floor, while our spa area is on the second floor. At DRee and Company we know our guests deserve the best and we feel our professionals meet their needs. We have an open chair policy in our salon that allows our guests to see any stylist they wish, guilt free. We have aligned DRee and Company with the top products from the beauty and wellness industry and we continuously educate ourselves and our community on the importance of proper hair care, skin care and the benefits from regular body work. At DRee & Company we build lifetime relationships, so our new location is like going home again. Providing beauty & wellness in a caring, cozy & relaxed environment.

Meet the Business Owner

DRee K.

Business Owner

As the stylist/owner with over 20 years of education, training and experience, DRee credits many of the industry’s best talent for her never ending passion. Some of the people and organizations she has been fortunate to learn from have been, Sassoon, Rusk, Aveda, and Paul Mitchell. Having worked approximately seven years as an assistant to Mr. Lyal McCaig, the previous Artistic Director of IBS, DRee traveled to many locations throughout the US supporting him. She has had extensive opportunities to work closely with some of her mentors. These experiences prepared her as an educator for ARTec in the Northeast GA area. DRee has been a member of the Professional Beauty Association since 1999, a member of NCA and previously GCA, and she currently sits on the Advisory Board for Cosmetology at Athens Area Technical College. DRee was appointed to the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology in August 2011 by Governor Deal. Another example of her unquenchable thirst for learning and always being up
