I specialize in both «older» addictions (drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling) and «newer» addictions (internet, porn, social media, gaming, etc.). I also offer online counseling and coaching.

Dr. Love is professional in the field of Counseling and Coaching, with a speciality focus on Addictive Behaviors, particularly those tied to the Internet and/or sexuality. In addition to his dissertation on Internet Addiction and the DSM-5, Dr. Love has co-authored a chapter on the neurobiology of sex addiction in a medical textbook, and has published with leading experts in the field on the neurobiology of Internet Pornography Addiction. Dr. Love is a former DUI defense attorney who made a career transition after realizing that he enjoyed clinically counseling his clients more than lawyering for them.
Dr. Love has doctorate degrees in psychology (PsyD) and law (JD), a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), and Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology (BA). He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC), Specialist in Problematic Sexual Behaviors (S-PSB), and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT).
