Pizza is absolutely phenomenal. The big dawg can feed a small army and is comical in regards to the size of thing. The other comical thing is the service. It took an hour and a half for a pizza to get to my house which is forgivable but the driver didn’t know how to get to my house. If it’s going to take an hour and a half to deliver a product(which is delicious) at least know where you’re going.

Prices advertised on their website were not honored! Don’t bother with these people. Athens has plenty of other options. Fix your site or honor your advertised prices!

My UGA daughter, my husband and I ate here because I purchased a Groupon. We were the only customers there on a Sunday at lunch other than 1 employee, Matt. The bathrooms were old, dirty and trash was overflowing. The restaurant needed sweeping and the tables needed wiping off. Do they not clean up at night? There was no ice in the drink machine. The pizza was fair. The meatball tasted odd, like maybe it had freezer burn? The crust and sauce was good but I can get that anywhere. Matt was friendly, had a good attitude and did a good job as cook, waiter, and cashier. We were disappointed that the restaurant had NO pasta, we wanted eggplant parm and vegi lasagne. Will not be back, even the best Groupon in history would convince me this dirty place deserved a second chance.

I agree with the first reviewer about taking a gamble on Bulldawgs Pizza because you ll never know if the food is going to be good. There’s always a 40⁄60 chance that your food is going to be «good”(not great, mind you) if its gonna be great, probably a 20⁄80 chance. I usually order their wings and cheese sticks. Most of the time, the wings and cheese sticks are overcooked. I mean, seriously how hard is it to put the wings in a fryer and let it cook for a certain amount of time? How hard is it to put the cheese sticks in oven and let the cheese melt without burning it? I’m guessing the cook is either lazy or plain dumb. Id be more than happy to take his/her job! To top it off, their«customer service» is horrible. They treated me like I’m a second class citizen because of my disability. So, beware of those bigoted idiots.

I have to give Bulldawg Pizza 3 stars because their quality varies wildly and like a Woot bag o’ crap, you never know if you’ll get a good one today. The good stuff first: They deliver on time and their pizzas are hot. To their credit, they’ve done some experimenting with the pizza crust that rocks my socks off. I’m thinking of a few instances where the crust was that perfect mix of slightly moist and chewy with good mouthfeel(yes, that’s a word. :P). That said, I’ve ordered items ranging from simple large pizzas to combos(wings, cinna sticks, etc). I’ve had severals pizza & cinnastick delivered that were hard and dry from being baked too long. Then again, they did the erratic-quality thing and once delivered a cinnastick that was piping hot, clearly from the oven and fluffy. I would like to keep patronizing them, but their inconsistency is killing their business. I haven’t given them a word-of-mouth recommendation because I couldn’t ‘swear’ that they would receive a similar food experience and that’s my biggest misgiving.
