The finest display of artwork in north Georgia. We feature monthly exhibitions of artworks and crafts from across North Georgia, including pottery, painting, and woodwork.

Established in 1975.

Aurum Studios has been serving the Athens community for over 40 years, helping the people of Athens (and Lake Oconee in Greensboro) select and create beautiful, fine jewelry for themselves and loved ones, as well as providing an exhibition space for hundreds of North Georgia artists over the years.

I had visited a few jewelers around town to work with my unique engagement ring, and none were truly helpful. I visited Aurum on a friend’s recommendation, and I am so glad I did. I spoke with designer Stephen Hollis for 45 minutes on a sale that was likely less than $ 1000. He didn’t seem at all concerned about how much I was going to spend, but was instead quite excited about the creative challenge of my engagement ring and wedding band. He was warm, friendly, and kind — everything that I needed and could have wanted. We will be doing all our jewelry business with Aurum for as long as we are in Athens. I highly recommend their business.

I visited this shop today, and truthfully none of the jewelry piqued my interest. However, they have a nice selection of handmade wooden vases & bowls and also some other pretty objects. I spoke to one of the men working there and he was very friendly.
