Specialties
An Atlas Orthogonist is a specialist in the field of chiropractic, who utilizes a light force method of adjusting the cervical spine. This method is gentle, effective and safe. The Atlas Orthogonist helps restore the alignment of the top bone in the spine using a specialized instrument table that can deliver a light force adjustment to the atlas at an exact angle. When misaligned, the atlas, or first vertebrae, causes other areas of the spine to shift and compensate in order to support the weight of the head. When the atlas is successfully realigned, structural and neurological balance is restored to the body, therefore allowing healing and pain relief to take place.
