History

Established in 1997.

Since I was 12 I worked for a good friend of my father’s every summer doing exterior repairs & roofing installation. When I was 16 I lost my father due to a 12year struggle from a brain tumor. After this tragedy occurred my mother had pulled me out of school to help care & support our family. With my summer experience I was picked up as a window installers helper. From there I learned the skills quickly & with ease to install all types of windows, entry doors, siding, and porch enclosures. Moving forward, I worked for a remodeling company as a lead carpenter assisting the project manager on completing remodeling jobs. In 97 I started my own company called GDWeiss construction. From there I ran my construction business solely off of word-​of-​mouth for 10years, which is when I decided to change my business name & lean more toward windows, doors installation, & porch enclosures. In 2007 I introduced my past and future clients to Absolute Windows & Doors LLC.
