In a pinch, I decided to stop into Charming Charlie a couple of weeks ago to find a a pop of color to go with my my outfit. I was pressed for time, so this location across the street from the gym was ideal for a stop and go visit. I had heard about the color coordinated accessories, but WOW, the description does not do this place justice! I love the concept of having each color with it’s own shades and variations together. To say the least, my first visit took longer than anticipated because I had to peruse the place and take it in. Secondly, I was easily indecisive in choosing the style of pink bag I wanted to rock with my outfit. In fact, at the last moment when I was about to get checked out, I changed my mind and looked at other bags, but ended up with my first choice. I’ve been buying a lot of pink lately(it is my favorite color), so I didn’t know if I wanted to permanently add a pink purse to my wardrobe, but it was so chic and small as well as reasonably priced that I decided to keep it. After a successful purchase with my handbag, I decided to shop for some jewelry two weeks later. Since I was in the area, I stopped in for the BOGO clearance event. I’m in agreement with some of the Unilocalers that the jewelry is pretty cheap looking – tarnishes quickly. The clearance items were especially not flattering. There were maybe a couple of pieces that I COULD have bought, but I wasn’t in love with it, so I let it be. The atmosphere of the store is quite welcoming and clean thanks to the employees, but the product is hit and miss. I LOVE the various styles and colors of handbags that Charming Charlies offers, but I would’t buy the jewelry. They sell shoes and clothing as well, but I did not try on nor have I bought it to make a judgment call on that kind of purchase, but I will say nothing pops out as spectacular for those particular items. If you’re looking for a beautiful handbag to coordinate with an outfit on the cheap, this is the place for you, just be cautious about the other items for purchase and use your best judhgment.

Looking for jewelry and accessories? This is your place! Pretty much any color, style you could think of, they have it. Sometimes you can find a cute top or dress. It is unfortunate they only have small, med, and large. But I’ve found large can really very. With the«average American size» now being size 14 you’d think stores like this would carry XL, but it is what it is. My only suggestion/hope is that they start carrying boutique type jewelery. I do think 80−95% of the jewelry is cheep looking, even the«costume jewelery». But if you look, you can find something great. Super friendly staff and if you do the reward card, you can return anything! Even if it’s broken! That’s awesome. Oh and cute phone cases too!

Cheap accessories for cheap people. I’ve been here many times, usually when I’m looking for something very specific. Most recently I was looking for little bits to add to a fascinator I was making. I did manage to find some rhinestone bits and little skull earrings to take apart. Other than that, I would not frequent this place. For a store with SOMUCH stuff, it’s really well organized by color/style. The drawback… none of it is a style I’d go anywhere near. This place caters to the«I have a completely different set of jewelry for every outfit I own» type of person. It’s all cheap, obviously plastic crap that will go in and out of style in a matter of months. Why waste hundreds of dollars on cheap, unsustainable crap jewelry when you can go to a real jewelry store and by one real, tasteful piece? I just don’t get it. And don’t get me started on the bags, shoes, and clothes. They’re poorly made, overpriced for what you get, and will clutter the Goodwills of America before the end of the year. Please, please, on behalf of the environment, economy, and tasteful people everywhere… just skip this place and invest in something that won’t just be closet clutter in six months.

I recently went into Charming Charlies in Atascocita with my 7 yr old daughter even though I’m not much of a girly girl. I was looking for earrings for a friend for her birthday. As tomboyish as I am, I loved it! There are earrings, rings, necklaces, brooches, purses, set up by colors. There are even shoes, glasses, and little girl accessories in the back, and some clothes but not much. My daughter loved it, too, going from color to color. Already having something in mind, I was able to find it very easily. Everything was very pretty, and, I think, very reasonably priced. I found a great pair of earrings for under $ 10 and my friend loved them. I’m not one to buy expensive anything, but I really liked Charming Charlies. I’ll definitely go back, even if it’s just to look around, that’s how much fun I had.

Accessory heaven. If you are looking for a specifically colored accessory to complete your outfit this is the place to go(this place is organized by color which is very helpful for this exact situation). However, the quality of the items sold here is not optimal and the clothing is drastically overpriced(for the quality and material). Other than that, this place will get you out of an outfit pinch in a flash and has a LOT of accessories and tops to choose from. It’s hard to walk out empty handed.

I like the way this store is set up by color sections, it looks pretty and girly. They have tons of accessories in different colors but not as many clothes and nothing in plus sizes. Overpriced and none of it made in America. I needed a break from my my infant duties so I went very casually dressed. I HATE being greeted when I walk into a store, it smacks of desperation/don’t steal from us mentality. The young salesgirl(teen to early 20’s) kept finding me throughout the store asking me if I was okay and suggesting that I look in the sales section! I informed her that I had money despite my tank top and flip flop attire. Smarmy little bitch! This ain’t Beverly Hills Barbie! Just for that snarky comment I stayed until they closed to make my purchase and put stuff back during check out! I won’t be back to this location.
