Travel With Fred and Fred Munroe can and will directly address your travel needs and interests. We are thorough and meticulous. We have returned travel planning to the art of personal service by real people, for real people.

We know and understand travel; whether at the highest level of luxury, or working with dreams needing to fit within a conservative budget. Our goal is to always find you the best choices to consider and make sure those choices don’t break the bank.

There is seldom a charge for consultation and review of your travel needs. Cruises, tours, vacation packages, and hotel arrangements are usually arranged without any service fee. A nominal service fee is charged for most airline ticket purchases.

History

Established in 1994.

Prior to creating Travel With Fred, Fred Munroe directly provided travel logistics and transportation services for luxury travelers. His services included working with a major presidential campaign (the candidate won!), members of the national media, and private travel arrangements for members of a European royal family.

Travel With Fred is a full-​service travel agency with clients throughout the world. Some of them are around the corner and many live or work so far away, we have never met except by phone and email. Fred provides professional business and leisure travel services from his home on the California Central Coast, in the heart of the Paso Robles wine region.

Fred has successfully divided his time as a local entrepreneur, community volunteer and Public Radio host on KCBX. «Let’s Get Outta Here», his travel blog can be found at www​.Fred​Munroe​.com.

Fred is also a former City Council Member and Mayor of Grover Beach. He has served on the San Luis Obispo County Council of Governments and the Coastal Rail Coordinating Council. Fred currently serves on the Citizen’s Transportation Advisory Committee for SLOCOG and is a member of ACTION for Healthy Communities.

Fred and his wife Sharon, also produce and host an Americana music, house concert series known as Musica Del Rio; www​.Musi​caDel​Rio​.org, in Atascadero. This series is now in its eighth season, having presented artists as diverse as Chad & Jeremy, Joe Craven, Blame Sally, Steve Gillette, Gilles Apap, and The Cache Valley Drifters.
